I happy that Cartoon Network got to do another cartoon pilot shorts show again

maybe nick would soon do that the same
there was the anthology show "Random Cartoons" from The Nicktoons Network era. but yeah Nick should do the same in the future.

I was getting worried about this after not hearing about it for a while. Hopefully this shorts program will not only have more success than Cartoonstitute, but also provide CN with some fresh new voices for future programming!

Will there be a block on CN finally or not?
Probably not. CN didn't air the Cartoonstitute shorts as a block. The more likely scenario is the shorts that are greenlit will get full series runs while the others might get placed on the CN website for a little while. This isn't so much a film festival as it's auditions for potential new shows.

Minor but "The All-nimal" will be screened at the Annecy Festival in June. I think this might be the first public screening of one of these shorts.

Here's the schedule for the "100 Years of Shorts" presentation which also features classic animation as well as newer stuff like the pilots for Dexter's Laboratory or Steven Universe.

CN should've done this a while ago because they are seriously lacking in variety right now and they probably wouldn't if they threw Unicorn Warriors Eternal, My Adventures With Superman, & Invincible Fight Girl onto AS heck I wouldn't be surprised if Iyanu is next

Well, it’s not Cartoon Network’s fault that things have been lacking lately. Blame on the Discovery merger for screwing things up.

CN has rebranded Boomerang's YouTube channel to the Cartoon Cartoons channel.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
