Weird glitches are happening to CN UK's adverts...

This is something that happened between 6.45am and 8.42am on May 25th on CN and Boomerang channels, and it aired this ad

Sometime in 2009 or 2010 I remember seeing a Toonami promo during an episode of Johnny Test. I've also seen "coming up next" promo's for shows that were not scheduled to air next, but aside from that the Toonami promo in 2009/2010 (or whatever year it was) is certainky the oddest thing I've seen.

'Bout time people have posted.

Now, what have you seen on CN that you thought was weird? You know, any test cards, technical difficulties, wrong shows, full credits, etc.? Post 'em here. All CNs apply.

Not sure how to explain this, especially since the West Coast feed is the only feed I receive, but yesterday, Time Warner Cable screwed up CN so everything aired 3 hours earlier, so I missed Thursday's premieres. But it's fixed now but I have to wait until Sunday to see the new episodes.

Has Cartoon Network aired its 16:9 shows in 4:3 before? Other than that one time with that Gumball episode?(from earlier in the thread).

I wonder if early AT episodes aired in 4:3. I don't know, since I did not see those.

Whenever Cartoon Network or Boomerang reran (I think they still do, even On Demand) "The Problem with Paras" episode of Pokémon, the Poké-rap still has an ancient message:

"Tune in next week and watch Ash, Misty, and Brock on their quest to become Pokémon masters! Don't miss 'em - the new ones are now only on Kids' WB!"

Also, I heard during the Pokémon Master Marathon in '07, the episode "Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden" had the "We'll be back after these messages" "And now back to our show!" bumpers from when the show was in syndication.

When I had Primestar in 1997, I would sometimes watch the Spanish version of CN because I was starting to learn Spanish at the time. I seem to recall that sometimes, the English audio would come through anyway. Also, the closed captioning was still in English.

The first time I watched Cartoon Planet in 2012 or 2013, they showed a Chowder episode and the theme song sounded like it was sped up about 10%. The pitch was noticeably higher to my ears.

I don't know if this is a provider issue or what, but my DVR frequently chokes on 15 minute episodes and doesn't start recording until about 30 seconds in. I finally changed the settings so that it starts the recording early.

Yesterday morning, I noticed that CN aired nothing but a black screen. I was hoping to see CN HQ as a backup for some time but eventually the problem was fixed towards the end of the morning.

I remember channel surfing and saw a second cartoon network channel. What caught my attention was it saying it was showing Xiaolin Showdown, I turned the channel and it turns out it wasn't Xiaolin Showdown..I decided to check the shows it was giving later and some of the shows were Dragon Ball Z and Powerpuff girls Z... Ain't that weird..

Also Boing in Spain had technical problems the previous night, someone on Twitter told me.

You know on CN US, there's two end credits styles -- promo on the left and credits on the right, or promos on the top and generic credits on the bottom?
Sometimes when I watch RS the generic credits are ocassionally used in the first example instead of the originals.

The master that CN has the What's New Scooby-Doo? episode "It's Mean, It's Green, It's the Mystery Machine" has the intro in widescreen for some reason, I forgot to mention this.

I find this pretty funny.

Recently, EPGs in Portugal have been giving incorrect information for CN Portugal at certain times of the day. A recent example: today, at 15:00, Tom and Jerry was supposed to air, instead they were airing The Amazing World of Gumball.

When I was watching RS episode ''Lift with your Back'' on the original airing, the signal went out. As did the other Turner networks, but the other channels were fine. After resetting the box, the channels came back on.

When I watched the SU episode ''Watermelon Steven'' on Sunday, the rating and the CC bug popped up shortly before the intro started. Also the end of the intro was cut off.

The Voyo-exclusive Romanian dub of Garfield and Friends goes on with the second season now being relased. I was afraid they will forget about the show after only one season.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.

Conflicted about the upcoming film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, given the creator now distancing herself from it despite co-writing the screenplay and blocking one of the actresses on social media despite defending her casting in the film.
