Y'know, looking at the design for Taichi, it could actually be Suzuhita Yasuda of Devil Survivor and Durarara!! fame. I mean, he did do all the character designs for Digimon World Re: Digitize (and Re: Digitize Decode) and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. So considering Tai is more of the slender build, and Yasuda's previous work for Digimon, it is a slight possibility.

Personally, I liked the designs for the characters in Durarara!!, and now knowing he was the guy who drew the designs for these two Digimon games... The reason I'm really excited by this possibility however is because what this means for the designs/redesigns for the Digimon, as the designs for Agumon (Cyber Sleuth) looks so cute, while the Agumon design for Re: Digitize was almost scary in an amazing way. His designs for classic Digimon like Angemon, UlForceVeedramon, and WarGreymon look amazing, like updated versions of the original art. Of course, there's his design for Greymon, which is hands down my favourite design for a Digimon. If I could have it my way, I would like Agumon to be a mix of his two designs from the two games and for Greymon to look just like his Re: Digitize art.

I haven't followed much of the news, mostly because I don't what the hype to get to me. Too much, and I leave disappointed. The fact they're making it and it has Tai again is enough for now.

lol Maybe I'm just spoiled by Chiaki and Tamers, but Adventure doesn't seem to have much effect on me either nowadays. I mean, sure, it was fun back in the day, but after we see the potential in writing quality Digimon could reach with Tamers, X-Evolution, and Savers, Adventure became more like "meh" to me. And of course, Adventure 02 was nothing to boast about, with that International Chosen Children arc being the worst of the lot, so I'm not having much hype either until Adventure show some promise to take the story seriously. I mean, come on, let's grow up and put the toys away. It's time for mature storylines, people.

I just wanted to bring up the fact that Ogremon's Ultimate/Perfect level is now Digitamamon... And they created a brand new Mega/Ultimate level for him during the release of Re: Digitize: Titamon. If Ogremon were to have a new Chosen Child as a partner, I'd really like to see Titamon because he just looks so powerful.

Oh and if Ogremon gets a partner, then Leomon returning to life with a partner and being able to digivolve to either SaberLeomon or BanchoLeomon would make sense... And if they have a partner, who's to say a new Chosen Child won't have a Tyranomon as a partner, and bat way they could show off the new RustTyranomon as well.

And this is just because, but if a new Chosen Child ends with either Jupitermon or Jesmon as their partner.... Oh my that would be too amazing.

Considering Hackmon (Jesmon's Child form) has been seen in recent 15th anniversary promotional material alongside the Adventure Digimon, I'd say there's a very good chance he might belong to a new Chosen Child.

OMG those designs!?!?! They're clearly going for a more adult storyline for the older fans who watched 01 as kids. Hype train is ON!

Agumon also has more of a "raptor-like" stance.

It's really hard to judge a storyline based on the silhouette of two designs, or judging the designs themselves for that matter. I'm still waiting for more details about the show itself. Either that or actually show the new character designs. That would get me more excited for the show again after the disappointing result with the Digi Egg. Hopefully, they'll provide something more solid than just character silhouettes in the next issue.

I didn't dislike her Adventure 02 costume...but I did prefer the Winter outfit she wore in the second half.

Hey folks! It's been a while for your buddy Hypocrite. The truth is, I've been lost in that cursed sea of fandom known as TvTropes.

Fun place, but man, is it easy to stay there a lot.

Anyway, I've been aware of this revival as well, and like you guys, I'm looking forward to it.

I think after Xros Wars, perhaps revisiting the roots is an interesting idea. There's still a lot to be mined in the Adventure era: full evolutions for the other chosen, the potential return of Daemon.

And of course, the greatest hallmark of the Adventure series.......

I suppose that's what they thought fashions would have been in Japan in the future. They look like a cross between modern day and 1980's cyberpunk. They did think by the year 2002 everyone in Japan would have Nintendo DS' years before they came out.
