You'd need a miracle for that to happen (pun intended).J Lee said:...but with 43 percent of the shareholders today at the company's annual meeting in Philadelphia (ironically, the home of current corporate rival Comcast) voting no support of Eisner, it's hard to see how he holds onto the CEO job for very much longer, unless there's some sudden major financial windfall for the company, such as "Home on the Range" putting up "Passion of Christ"-like box office numbers during its opening week.

It would be nice, but the Disney Channel is pretty much beyond saving, as well as Toon Disney...Cartman said:I'm also hoping that we can see some worthwhile stuff on the Disney Channel again.
That's true. And everything could be uncut since it would most likely be aimed at older audiences.Thad Komorowski said:Maybe we can expect to see a VAULT DISNEY channel soon... Everybody knows that they have more than enough material to make that channel up...

Mitchell is a former federal judge, U.S. Senator from Maine and was the Senate Majority leader during the early 1990s. His work was considered instrumental in the Democrats' 1992 sweep of the presidency and both houses of Congress, and after his retirement from the Senate he served as a special envoy for Preisdent Clinton in the peace talks in Northern Ireland and elsewhere.Dacp said:I heard that, for chairman, Eisner was replaced by a board member named (I think) George Mitchell. I wonder how he'll turn out.
Here are a few more political cartoons on Michael Eisner losing his chairman position and the current state of Disney:Jon Cooke said:Nelson, did you see this cartoon yet?![]()
