Family Guy - "FOX-y Lady" - Talkback [3/22]

Once again I might as well repeat, I just don't get how South Park is able to wear all of it's biases on it's sleeve and constantly be called smart, brave and daring while heaven forbid Family Guy takes a strong stance on something controversial.
.
most want family guy just to be funny not preachy

Seems like the sub-plot concerns Peter and the guys making their own cartoon. That should be pretty good. Might even make up for it if the main plot is weak.

This thread will come dangerously close to the "no discussion of politiks" rule, so peeps best watch it around these here parts.

for me stewie has turned totally gay and lost the true evil megalomaniac self that made us fall in love with him and the show. so that upsets me. also i agree this has become to much i do not mind the shots at the republicans but it gets sooooo old after a very shortwhile. it would be different it it were you know DIFFERENT!!!! it is not though every season has a mandatory episode where they attack anything that does not fall into a very specific view is attacked without mercy. it has been said before the writers have turned the show into such a hypocritical piece of crap.

so yes i feel very much the same way about the relentlessness of these iodiotic insults. i do not mind being made fun of but it is a constant thing there is never anything different, and there is rarely ever any contrast. no he is not taking away my opinion, or my freedom to espress myself, but he is belittling it every chance he has, and it upsets me. my opinion is valid and i hate being told otherwise, or being profiled as a certain stereotype "right wing nut jub, with political views as stubborn as a mule". granted that was about texans his views on republicans are much worse. i do not like it, it is my opinion, and if the quality of the show does not improve I.E. less episodes with only gay or republican bashing jokes i will seriously consider not watching the show anymore which i am pretty close to doing now.

oh and i did not like the OJ episode. yes it was different but the writing has become so reliant on either vomit, gay jokes, or republican hatred that it is hard for them to be funny without those hackneyed tools anymore. for me the show is on its last ;egs thye gave it a fun ride but i am very displeased with the quality.

Then stop watching.

for me stewie has turned totally gay

Actually between his interest in Susie Swanson and his anti-gay comments in "Family Guy", plus evidence that he went to a straight camp, it appears as if "gay Stewie" isn't sticking around.

Well, I'm definitely not offended by anything Family Guy does. My only problem with the conservative jabs is that they just aren't that funny.

Ooh, this episode sounds like a blast.
I could care less that MacFarlane is skewering FOX News since I support Obama and I'm pretty sure I'm a Democrat...still, it sounds better than last week's disaster. *cringes*

XD at Peter's picure on his drivers license!

"Oh no!"
"I know".
"GAAAH!"

Hah, Lois doing the same thing Peter did years ago!

LMAO at the Woman's new apparance in HD and everyone reactions!

Another Willy Wonka parody? They did the same thing with Peter.

I so saw that gag coming.
She's holding her breast and that makes it even more funny.
But not that much.

And they apparently copied the joke from Wasted Talent.

While I never found the um, "in pain groaning" gag actually funny, I'm glad they're doing it with a different character.

This Seth Mcfarlane hulu commercial is awesome!

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
