"Glitch Techs" News & Discussions (Spoilers)

A lot like what Nick did with Pinky Malinky. :(

Initially, it was supposed to premiere last year before it was delayed to this year, and now it’s been delayed to next year.
So, the new Chalk Zone then. Well, once the anticipation dies down completely they'll finally announce an actual date.

They clearly don't care about this project at all.

Wow, Nick , a channel shouldn't be this nervous to air a show , I mean really, and if they were they shouldn't have ordered it in the first place.

Does anyone even understand what they are waiting for? Isn't September supposed to be a perfect month for a new series?

Let's not forget that this series was supposed to premiere in 2018.

Yeah and Pinky Malinky was suppose to come out in 2016, then ended up releasing at the beginning of this year.

At least ChalkZone aired at a time Nick gave shows chances. I think they're just going to bury the show.

It was picked up in 2016, so it could be a case of the new management thinking "We didn't greenlight this, so we're ignoring it".

Honestly, I wouldn't even really be that annoyed if it wasn't for the fact that Nick needs this show to succeed more than they think they do. They can't ride off nostalgia and reviving 90s properties forever, they need actually new IPs to survive long-term and actually have a legacy for the current generation. And everything I've seen about this show looks really great.

It's why watching their best animation of today, like the Rocko and Zim specials as well as the Loud House, makes part of me feel sad. Nick has proven they can be just as great as ever, but they simply don't want to because they are just that risk-aversive. At this point it's honestly amazing the Loud House survived past season 1.

Monica Ray (who's worked on shows like Harvey Beaks and Big City Greens) has been working on the show since 2015 and today is her last day.

The last episode of season 1 has been edited.

The last episode of season 1 has been color corrected.

This makes me wonder if Nick is abandoning the main channel and air their future cartoons on Netflix

Part of me thinks that they are not cofindent enough to air it on the main channel

It's been very clear the current Nick management has had no faith in this show. That was obvious when they didn't do the typical big studio U.S. toon thing and greenlight it for a second season before an episode aired.

I'm not surprised that Glitch Techs move to Netflix

It is sad that Nick only wants to air like 3 animated shows ; maybe this show will have a chance to get exposure on Netflix. I'll probably re-sign up if it comes out to there. Still would have been nice if Nick tried it on their line up but no change apparently.

They technically did, they wrote ten episodes for a potential second season, but they show got delayed which means it was a risk to put those ten episodes into full production.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
