Today is the 10th anniversary of the Qubo 24/7 channel. But I feel like there are some problems with it now. First of all, they keep playing this annoying thing called "Ask Me" ALL THE TIME. Second, why do they air everything in 1-hour blocks? Third, why are some shows still on the website when they are no longer airing, do they still have the rights to them? Fourth, why does Ion only play Qubo Kids Corner 3 days a week at 8 in the morning? Kids are going to school at that time!
Noggin/Nick Jr. (April 2002 - February 2012), Nicktoons Network (May 2002 - September 27th, 2009), and Boomerang (April 2000 - January 18th, 2015) are long dead, and Qubo is still alive, if you have any suggestions on how you can improve Qubo, post a comment!

Here are some improvements I would make.
  • I'm not saying they should cancel Ask Me, seeing as how some kids like it while some don't, but I feel they should find OTHER minute-long shows, so they have more variety on their shorts.
  • They should really have more 30-minute-only timeslots for their shows, that way more variety would be on their schedule.
  • I say that Ion should move the Kids Corner block to the afternoon from 3PM to 6PM every weekday, with more shows and a good mix of preschool and regular kid shows. Here's what I had in mind.
    QUBO KIDS CORNER:

    Monday and Tuesday (preschool stuff):
    3PM - Raggs
3:30PM - The Choo Choo Bob Show
    4PM - Doki
    4:30PM - Dive Olly Dive
5PM - Harry and his Bucket Full of Dinosaurs
    5:30PM - Fishtronaut

Wednesday and Thursday (regular kid stuff):
    3PM - George and Martha
    3:30PM - Stickin' Around
    4PM - Thomas Edison's Secret Lab
    4:30PM - Secret Millionaires Club
    5PM - Zoo Clues
    5:30PM - Animal Science

    Friday (a combination of both):
3PM - Timothy Goes to School
    3:30PM - My Friend Rabbit
    4PM - Guess with Jess
    4:30PM - Ned's Newt
    5PM - Grossology
    5:30PM - Nutri Ventures
  • I think it would be a HUGE help to put SOME full episodes of some of their shows on qubo.com like they did on their last website from 2011 to 2016. And maybe On Demand on the cable providers it's on (AT&T and Verizon) would be nice.
  • I can understand why shows like Nutri Ventures and Grossology are some of Qubo's current most popular shows, but a little more variety on the promos they air would be nice. We don't even get any advertisements for their 4 newest shows. (Thomas Edison, Millionaires Club, Zoo Clues and Animal Science) Not to mention, we rarely get any promos for shows like Gofrette and even Stickin' Around.
  • Bring back the Filmation shows (He-Man, She-Ra, Bravestarr, etc.) to the Qubo Night Owl. Now with shows like Ned's Newt (after 9 months on the daytime rotation) and Sandra the Fairy Tale Detective (despite already being on at 9PM) on the Night Owl, not that the shows are bad, but they're ruining the purpose of the Qubo Night Owl.
  • Some of their TV ratings need a little work. Preschool shows like Dive Olly Dove and My Friend Rabbit get TV-Y7 ratings, and it even gets to the point that some episodes of Ned's Newt and Stickin' Around literally got TV-PG ratings. I would give the shows the proper ratings for their shows and having the same rating for ALL of their episodes.
But even despite it's flaws, I still think it's an good network. And besides, a different show every hour is still better than 18 hours of Teen Titans Go every day. And I do admire most of the programming Qubo offers. With shows I grew up with (Jakers, ToddWorld, & Harry and his Bucket), and shows I started becoming interested in myself (Sally Bollywood, Ned's Newt, & Stickin' Around). And who knows? Hopefully Qubo would have these ideas for improvements in mind and maybe the network can become an even better place for both kids and adults.

For new shows, I suggest they should add My Dad The Rockstar (with swear words removed), Ruby Gloom, The Berenstain Bears (to be removed from PBS Kids and Sprout), and Seven Little Monsters, but with all these Nelvana shows, it may not be long before the channel gets renamed to "The Nelvana Channel".

You do know they have shows outside of Nelvana, right?

Maybe Qubo should add curriculum boards like the ones that Nick Jr. used to show.

EX: Doki enhances children's understanding of foreign cultures, and promotes Social and Interpersonal skills

hmm. Maybe, but not EVERY show teaches kids. Sandra, Stickin' Around, Archie, Being Ian, Funniest Pets & People, and George & Martha are only a 3rd of the non-E/I shows

I would improve Qubo by removing all of the Smile of a Child (now just Smile) shows, and creating a more, diverse schedule. I would also remove Ask Me.

I'd rather that Smile of a Child would remove all of the shows that they have that are currently airing on Qubo because they have nothing to do with Christianity.

For minute-long shorts, I suggest that they should add the "Doki Discovers" shorts from the Latin American feed of Discovery Kids.
Here's a short if you want to see what it's like.

Are most of there shows repeats? Which shows do they have that are first run? Could they not acquire more popular shows from Canada/UK that people might have heard of before. I never even heard of most of these programs

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol
