who cares...
Well, since the Nickelodeon content was been on Universal Studios in any theme parks including Hollywood, etc., Nickelodeon being with Sesame Workshop (formerly as Children's Television Workshop until 2000) at the time they launched Noggin (now Nick Jr.) until the said company left off in 2002 (despite Play With Me Sesame still airing and rerunning until moved to Sprout in 2007), the Nick Jr. block and the Noggin channel have aired Maisy until stopped broadcasting in 2001 for this said block and 2007 for this said channel. I was unsure if Paramount Global would supposed to acquire Comcast/NBCUniversal, PBS, Sesame Workshop, and GKIDS (including the Studio Ghibli catalogue)... Maybe if this should buy this before, I think NBC and PBS would become as CBS and MTV's subsidiary channels. And PBS' children block PBS Kids and NBCUniversal's children channel Universal Kids would may have become as the parent company for the Nickelodeon Group. The studios including Universal Animation Studios, Dreamworks Animation (and it's television studio, and Dreamworks Classics; originally Classic Media) would be subsidiaries for Paramount Animation and the Nickelodeon Group (including Nickelodeon Animation Studios and Nickelodeon Movies). Sesame Workshop would be back return with Nickelodeon since 2002, and regained the rights with Pinky Dinky Doo moving from MAX to both Paramount+ and the Noggin app.

Nickelodeon would have regained the rights with Maisy (a Universal animation co-production) to be available to be stream on Paramount+ while the show will be still available on Peacock, while the show to be available on the Noggin app.

Sesame Street would be moved from HBO Family to Nick Jr. (both block and channel; regaining the rights with the series), and also moved from MAX to Paramount+ along with others including Mecha Builders, The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo, and Elmo and Tango Mysterious Mysteries.

Many of the PBS Kids and PBS programs would have been on Paramount+ along with many of Comcast/NBCUniversal properties (including the Dreamworks Animation films and shows; since some of them are co-productions with Nickelodeon including The Penguins of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness) while some to be still be on Peacock.

The streaming services Paramount+ and Peacock would have been bundled together here.

GKIDS' Studio Ghibli films would may been available to be stream on Paramount+ (both English dub and original Japanese audio with English subtitles) while this will be still available on MAX since South Park was still available on this said-streaming service.

I was unsure picky if the company would have acquire the four companies, maybe if not gonna merge it or what?

Like that’s ever gonna happen. PBS is in fact a public, non-profit network that is always funded by us common people. No one wants PBS to be owned by a media conglomerate. Same thing with Sesame Workshop.

I wonder why can't Comcast can only buy the dreamworks live action library prior to 2011 from paramount, or why not they trade where paramount gets the post 1928 & pre 1950 library back while Comcast gets the dreamworks live action library prior to 2011 back (I know this is not gonna happen but just think of it)

Comcast/NBCUniversal - I doubt it.

PBS - They don't seem like the kind of thing that would want to sell themselves to a corporation.

Sesame Workshop - See above.

GKIDS - Don't know as much about them, but I doubt they'd be interested in selling either.

If you noticed, the tech companies have been buying up the Studio IP and Studios wholesale. I believe eventually Apple may own Disney. Coincidentally Bob Iger and Steve Jobs were working Apple around the same time. He denies it, but the handwriting is on the wall for this to happen. As far as WB, the Amazon purchase may end up happening there.

I personally think if Netflix didn't have so much debt, they would be purchasing Paramount by now. You see SONY has all tech as a backup, so Columbia is now under them.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
