International Nickelodeon Thread Part 16

I don't think the copyright banners are copyright fraud??? What
According to him, "copyright fraud" means the banners don't say the same as the official credits.
Couldn't they just make the breaks permanently shorter to accommodate consistently airing the closing credits in full?
I wish they did that

Okay, well that isn't copyright fraud, just please stop saying that. You can say you don't like something without having to have a "moral" reason.

The best automated text end boards we had so far imo

I was suspecting it to be an old video. Besides, Paramount wouldn't have the guts to recycle old channel brandings.
They already did that with the 2013-2016 brand they forgot to remove an old 4 minutes filler with bumpers and shorts and this filler was airing until 2023 on the CEE feed.

But that would defeat the purpose, which is, in THEIR view, speeding up "continuity" (not in terms of presentation, but the whole flow of the channel) and not let viewer switch the channel.

I doubt they care about break and programme length

The breaks on the Global feeds are really boring, with repetitive fillers of Sponhebob and The Casagrandes. As I said, I haven’t seen a single bumper. I would prefer to switch the channel rather than watching these fillers.

From what I discovered from two years ago that TF1, has banned and censored several episodes of Bob L'eponge according to ina.fr. The only remaining evidence that I could find was from a French forum where TF1 censored the spikey cleets scene in "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler". Most of these episodes being censored remained lost media.

And as for the banned episodes:
"Ghost Host" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 01/26/2008).
"Rule of Dumb" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 01/27/2008).
"Spy Buddies" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 02/07/2009).
"Sing a Song of Patrick" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 02/08/2009).
"Mermaid Man vs. SpongeBob" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 01/05/2010).
"20,000 Patties Under the Sea" and "The Battle of Bikini Bottom" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 01/08/2010).
"Suction Cup Symphony" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 10/12/2010).
"The Splinter" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 10/13/2010).
"Grooming Gary" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 10/20/2010).
"Krusty Krushers" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 10/22/2010).
"Dear Vikings" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 10/25/2010).
"A Pal for Gary" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 01/11/2011).
"Big Sister Sam" (aired on Nickelodeon France on 02/13/2013).

Idk, but Nickelodeon France has held these episodes after Nickelodeon France launched in November of 2005. Almost all of the airdates for Seasons 1-8 from the French Wikipedia are 100% false as Seasons 1-3 were aired spiradically being part of a series of blocks "SpongeBob and Patrick presents the Best of Nickelodeon," "No Panic!," and "Nickelodeon Afternoons". Season 4 were aired split in half on the weekend of January 27-28, Season 5 was part of a daily marathon daily on February 2009, except for the last bunch and the first episodes of Season 6 in January 2010. Also Season 8 aired earlier on TF1 in January 2013, Nickelodeon France aired it in April, when they completed Season 7 in February.
This promo popped out of nowhere where Nickelodeon France started airing Season 4 in February 2006, as to what I said the iTunes airdates are 100% false. Ironically, TF1 had also started airing Season 4 around the same time as Nick France, but only aired "Krabs vs. Plankton" and "Skill Crane." on 02/04/2006.

Season 4 was the only pre-season 7 series that never aired on Portuguese terrestrial TV AIRC

SpongeBob's premiere debut in Japan has been found being January 1, 2000 at 10:00AM. Funny enough, that Southeast Asia and Russia had also aired it on the same day.

Japanese Nickelodeon was also launched on November 15, 1998, just like Nick EU and Nick RU.

But Nick RU was localized from the very beginning, so it was not a shared version like it is now. It may be a coincidence in the schedule.

If only someone has the guts to translate the schedules for December 31, 1999-January 2, 2000 (also, transparent watermark, which makes it useful to make out)

Yes, but Nickelodeon Japan was also localized too after Russia with a complete different schedule, it wasn't post Nick Global when Nick Russia merged with Europe in May 2004. They started airing at 10:30AM Moscow Time and another airing the following day at 6:00PM.

Nick SEA aired it on the same day at 10:00PM, which episodes 1-10 were licensed and aired on weekends like Russia. EU on the hand is the same as Russia, Hungary was localized with dubbing while in Romania it is subtitled only (This was brought up by Juegosdebanodemateo). Which I felt embarassed when searching up Hungarian newspaper from 2001 that had SpongyaBob in its name.

Using Google lens with its god awful translator I can find SpongeBob airings at

01/01/2000:
6:30PM

01/02/2000
12:30AM
7:00PM
11:00PM

Nearly identical as Nickelodeon Russia. But I can't translate the Russian mag because of the image being low quality.

Nevermind: @Gabri2007 translated the schedule on the Old Nick International Schedules page

I remember seeing continuity from 2012-ish with idents from as early as 1998 mistakenly used as fillers…
