Since the old fanbase of CN considers it dead now, should they switch to Teletoon? Of course, they might not have such luck, since many of them don't live in Canad'er.

Teletoon is like CN/AS, only with more Canadian shows.

But they also show classic shows...or is that on Teletoon RETRO only?

Only on Teletoon RETRO.

I kinda indeed wish I had this network, it is indeed like CN, but then again, I might only watch it for Sunday evenings... :rolleyes2:

Teletoon is a Canadian channle so it is kind of hard to get it here.

I'd love to have Teletoon, but unfortunatley there is no way I could get it since I live in the U.S.

What about Boomerang? Its the same thing, right?

Actually they show the Bugs and Tweety Show fairly regularly on the main channel.

Though it has less anime then CN, almost all anime in Canada is aired by YTV instead.

If old-school CN fans decided to switch over to Teletoon because they were disappointed with the present Cartoon Network, they'd still be disappointed. Teletoon is nothing like what Cartoon Network was back in the day.

I live in Canada and i have Teletoon & Teletoon Retro on my Roger Cable (an Canadian cable).

to answer your question, TELETOON does some classic shows on TELETOON Retro but they only show TELETOON Retro on ditgal cable.

hmmm...I see the problem. Of course, I don't live in the US anymore.

Exactly. I don't think I'd lose any shows that I'm currently watching on CN, and have some of their original shows as well. Plus they don't have that huge aura of live-action hanging over their head because of their requirements and government funding. I've said before that i'd gladly trade CN for Teletoon if it were possible, but it's not. Gotta settle for importing the DVDs, I guess.

I'm pretty sure Teletoon also has live-action. They just get around the government requirements by having their live-action based on animated series or movies.

Oh, okay. Didn't know. Still I'd take it over CN.

Um the 2 that come to mind are Jimmy's head and the new Fresh tv live action show.

Do Canadian's even have forums? I've hit forums in much of Europe and Spanish Latin America. I gota say it's fairly hard to find a cartoon group that is largely Canada. I really have to pry hard get Teletoon info stuff.

Why not start a Teletoon forum? Lots of great shows that never got their due. Class and Di-Gata are a few that come to mind.

Also, all cartoon stations are feeling the pain as they are hit with lower ratings due to the live-action preference. Hanna Montana, ICarly, HSM kill animation networks. You'll likely see a few hybrid shows in response.

It's a smart way to survive.
