LUCKY’S CODE OF HONOR TEACHES PEGGY A LESSON ABOUT YOUNG LOVE IN THE ALL-NEW 200th MILESTONE EPISODE OF “KING OF THE HILL” SUNDAY, MAY 14, ON FOX

Tom Petty Makes a Special Guest Voice Appearance

When Lucky (Tom Petty) asks Peggy to tutor him for the General Equivalency Diploma, Peggy accepts, hoping to prod Lucky to take a job far away from Luanne. During the course of their lessons, Lucky declares that his intention is to get his G.E.D. and propose to Luanne. Peggy takes matters into her own hands and intentionally teaches him incorrect material, causing Lucky to fail and forgo his proposal – that is, until Luanne announces that she has a bun in the oven in ”Edu-macating Lucky,” the special 200th milestone episode of KING OF THE HILL Sunday, May 14 (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (KH-1004) (TV-PG; L) CC
I won't be watching this one because I have a crapload of homework.

Luanna...pregnant? Hmm...well I'll be.

That only took, what...9 years?

Approximate quote "If Hank knew you touched his underpants he'd put you through a wall."
I would have liked have seen that. But I think it's to this shows credit that Hank is more then a comical redneck stereotype, as illustrated by his discomfort holding a gun on Lucky.

Khan also had a good heckle about them evolving back into fish.
(Both Simpsons and Family Guy have evolution jokes too. What's with that?)

I was hoping to see Peggy do something good, but she's despicable.
I can see not wanting Luann to marry him, but teaching him misinformation was low. I was pretty disgusted by her breaking those toy soldiers and hiding them. Yeah, the store would probably shrug it off, but she's just to weasely about it.
I guess they made it clear, Peggy has no honor.

I did like it when she was teaching useless facts though, like the Civil War dead would stretch to the moon.

Lucky actually came off as respectable, but i agree with Hank about his code being twisted.

You know I kind of felt the same way Peggy did. I hate Lucky. I can't imagine why any woman would find him attractive. He makes me sick just looking at him. But, you know, I disagree with Peggy that Luanne could do better. Luanne is almost as ugly and dumb as Lucky. They deserve each other. However, when I found out Luanne was pregnant it just made me sick. I used to be pro-life, but after this episode I think I'm pro-death. No two people that ugly and stupid should have kids.

:anime: Hilarious post. What Peggy did was downright dirty though. I know a Luanne in real life--though she's not Luanne mentally, she did marry a hick like that. But that's her decision and her life. The good thing was that for ONCE, Peggy realized how selfish she'd been acting.

This was going to be the third-to-last episode. They never intended to follow the pregnancy through, but it looks like we'll now get to see what a LuLucky looks like.

Hank wasn't surprised enough that Luanne had premarital hoohah in his den; in a past episode he was horrified. Normally this is the most continuity-heavy cartoon on Fox.

Bottom line: get used to Lucky. A recent Mike Judge interview on IGN revealed he's going to be in almost every episode next season. Did anyone know all of Lucky's appearances have been voiced by Tom Petty? The country star is really willing to be on the show that often. What a trouper.

Ummm......Tom Petty's not country.

I loved this episode!

Peggy's character didn't annoy me at all. Yeah, sabotaging Lucky was a rotten thing to do. But I could understand why she did it. Lucky is a nice guy. But if someone like him wanted to marry into my family; I’d try to stop it, too.

Peggy’s vision of Luann and Lucky’s future (complete with him spilling juice on a Mega-lo-Mart floor and her sliding into it) was hilarious. As was Lucky’s ridiculous code of honor.

This exchange had me cracking up:
-Lucky: “I can’t marry Luann because my code of honor-”
-Peggy: “blah blah ‘code of honor’. For God’s sake, nobody has a freakin’ code of honor!”
-Hank: “……I have a code of honor”

I can't wait for the next season! :D

While im not trying to start any debates, does it strike anyone weird that Luann got pregnant in the first place? According to the "re-virgining" episode, she no longer believed in sex before marriage, yet now,,,

So... whatm akes Lucky so despicable? I only caught a short part of this episode and Peggy came off as a VERY despicable person, and while that guy doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed you can't help but respect someone that sticks to a code of honor.

I fond Lucky to be a pretty honorable man, yes he's an uneducated red neck but he always seemed to have common sense. I think wanting to better himself before he married Luanne was a very honorable thing to want to do.

So, I still have to ask. Why didn't he just retake the test? Or are you not allowed to retake it?

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
