I'm still waiting for them to actually bother giving Ultron an origin .

I think Age of Ultron is meant to stand in for an origin. It doesn't actually work, but they've done that before so they're not going to stop now.

So did the power of the Infinity Stones blow up when Ultron hit the Sun or did they reform elsewhere?

Interesting thing to note: Wacker has been dropping hints under our noses the past year.

How to fail upwards!

-Squadron Supreme (Season 2 [and 3?] arc)

-Disassembled (Season 2 arc)

-Under Siege (Masters of Evil story-arc; they were confirmed to debut in Season 3)

-Kang Dynasty (Kang was confirmed to appear in Season 3)

-Civil War (Arc for Season 3)

-Korvac Saga (I'm guessing Korvac is going to show up this season or the next?)

-Avengers vs. Inhumans (Inhumans were confirmed to be in Season 3)

-Whatever the heck Hickman’s been building up to over the past 16 years (.....I have no idea was this means)

Surprised no one caught this....

I don't follow Wacker so I was completely unaware about this, but thanks for posting it :).

Yeah, the current Secret Wars. I have no confidence that the current MAU could pull it off, at least with the same tone and overall story, but I'm not surprised he's kinda promoting it. But It looks like the Contest of Champions arc in Ultimate basically works like the classic Secret War, so I guess if we ever got around to something like Hickman's Secret War, the name and reference would still be appropriate .

Korvac's already shown up in the MAU for the first Guardians appearance in Ultimate, but I'm not sure if they'd bother to address that if they were ever to reintroduce him for a Korvac Saga adaption. It did happen a long time before Wacker showed up after all :p.

Surprised he didn't mention Infinity Gauntlet storyline...then again that was the major story for season 2, so maybe that's why he didn't mention it :ack:.

Some of those stories aren't what I'd call "classic" Avengers story, big as they are, and a few are missing that I would've put down but seeing the Korvac Saga and the Kang Dynasty adapted would be pretty awesome .

Yeah, there is NO way the current Marvel cartoons could do the new Secret Wars comic any justice. Just no way.

You know what, the next season shouldn't just update the tone but they should update Their costumes as well, give them the same costumes as the movies.

I have a problem with Captain America's costume when he hooks the shield to his back, when he wore The winter shoulder costume it made more sense because of the strap he had on his costume. So give him the avengers age of ultron uniform.

Thor's should be updated to be exactly like the film, I think that uniform is perfect, I miss his armor rist bands, it has beIng annoying me since avengers assemble started when he stopped having them on.

The same for black widow and they should give her guns, I don't care if it shoots lasers, I just Think she will look kool.

Widow has semi super-strength on this show, she doesn't need guns ;).

I hope that, if they do ever update Thor's look, they still keep his helmet. That's one liberty taken by Assemble in their adherence to the look and feel of the movies that I appreciate :).

For a show where Iron Man is ostenbily the lead, I'm kinda surprised we've yet to really see a major update/upgrade in terms of Armors for him...though we have seen plenty of other Armors.

Hulk would just be a change of pants, so I don't expect them to bother with him :p.

I'd be down for Hawkeye moving to his AoU costume over his current one, though I wonder if it would be too much to update Hawkeye's intelligence .

I feel like he's actually gained some intelligence. He's much more useful in season 2 and even better, he's actually pretty funny and often does have a point behind his snark.

I like how AA is simply keeping Hulk's pants ripped, I think EMH's pants design made sense (they would never rip) but he doesn't need them in this show as he's never changed to Banner.

Speaking of other armors and I know it was destroyed, do you think we'll ever see War Machine in this show?

Really? I mean, I guess he's still effective in fights, but I think overall he's still kinda dumb and childish rather than witty and good at snark. Sure he can make good points sometimes, but he can just as often be petty and be derisive to his teammates unnecessarily. I guess he's a little better in season one, though not by much .

Well, there's a War Machine Armor, but Falcon pretty much serves as the other "Armor" guy on the team, so from that standpoint I could see the creators thinking Rhodey would be redundant :(.

Honestly, my dude, different strokes for different folks. I love this show and once MOA got kicked off, I saw a quality jump especially with Hawkeye.

Truth, we will probably not see Rhodey.

This is probably fake, most surely, but in Wikipedia, someone has posted the titles of the three last episodes. They seem to be an adaptation of "Avengers vs X-Men". "AvX Part 1: Deadly Sentinels", AvX Part 2: Enter Magneto" and "AvX Part 3: The Phoenix Five".

Like I said, this is very likely fake, especially considering the issues with "X-Men" with Sony and stuff. But either way, I post it here just in case.

X-Men!? The idea of that happening is just laughable.

Synopsis for the next 4 Avengers Assemble episodes:
Terminal Velocity:
The Squadron Supreme's fastest member, Speed Demon, is on the loose and wreaking havoc throughout Avengers Tower. Hulk must save the day by fighting the high velocity villain.

Spectrums:
New Avenger, Ant-Man, begins to atone by bringing his former allies to justice. His quest for redemption leads the team to an epic battle with Squadron Supreme's Dr. Spectrum.

Midgard Crisis:
Thor is convinced that Zarda wants to defect from Squadron Supreme, but Hulk knows better and must protect Thor from Zarda's duplicitous ways.

Avengers' Last Stand:
The Avengers are challenged by the fully formed and incredibly powerful Squadron Supreme for a battle that will end with only one team as the victor.

Don't know how to feel, from the synopsis alone I'm not interested but I've been wrong before when I made assumptions from the synopsis like the "New Guy".

I'm glad it's Squadron Supreme, they tend to have the best written episodes imo and I love it when the Avengers fight another team, Avengers vs. one opponent is so boring.

I hope it's not a blowout, 8 vs. 5 and how could the Avengers lose? They counter every Squadron member and then some.

So it seems like each Squadron member is getting an episode to themselves as solo villains squaring off against the Avengers, much like Hyperion and Nighthawk did, culminating in a full-on Avengers vs. Squadron Supreme episode .

The only issue with this is that it probably would've worked better if they hadn't done "Dark Avengers," which featured the entire team together already and quickly introduced the rest of the Squadron, rather than this kind of build-up. Then again, "Dark Avengers" was one of the best episodes of this season and introduced the Reality Stone for the Thanos arc, so I guess it all worked out in the end ;).

Hulk, the bruiser, going up against the Squadron's speedster is an interesting match-up, but I'm not super confident in an episode focused on Assemble!Hulk .

"Spectrums" seems very interesting, and it seems like the Circus of Crime will be back judging by the description referring to Ant-Man's attempts to bring "his former allies to justice." Be nice to see Princess Python again, but I doubt it considering she's gone straight and with SHIELD now. Though considering how Scott's story and "criminal past" were shown in "New Guy," I don't think he really has much to atone for o_O.

Not sure what to think about "Midgard Crisis," other than it being another Thor and Hulk episode with all that entails, and it runs the risk of making Thor look dumb for trusting Zarda of all people, but maybe it'll be good :).

Dark Avengers was [bleep] godlike dude.

The Circus of Crime need to be launched into the sun, I don't care about them. They suck so much butt.

Hulk already fought Speed Demon, he bodied him. The Doc Spectrum one sounds cool, he's supposed to be Green Lantern but we've never seen him actually use his powers. Princess Python's episode actually sounds sort of fun, now that I re-think this. I can't wait for the final battle.

Mod Note: Watch the language. You know better. Next time it gets an infraction.

I'm glad to see the Squadron Supreme is sticking around even though they have no personalities at all I still love how they're doing something that's never been done in a Marvel cartoon. To bad there's no DC cartoon going on for the show to lampoon since that's kind of what the team is about.

Well, I wouldn't say they have no personalities (especially considering the rest of the Squadron will be getting focus episodes soon). I think we've been given enough screentime with each of them, especially Hyperion and Nighthawk, to get a basic sense of their respective personalities :).

I'm just disappointed that they weren't able to get a former Superman or Wonder Woman for Hyperion and Zarda, all respect to Brian Bloom and April Stewart of course ;).

Bloom played Superman's evil counterpart Ultraman at one point, so that sort of counts.

It is odd how April Stewart could go this long without ever playing any DC character.

It's official: I have now preordered GTA VI for PlayStation 5; the more expensive and feature-complete Ultimate Edition of the game, that is. I also intend to buy a PS5 Slim optical drive next month(?) in the hopes of maybe indirectly convincing SIE to reverse its controversial plans to go all-digital on all post–Jan 2028 PS console games, even though GTA VI is a digital-only game.
Happy anniversary to "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout".
