I have to say (and i know exactly what kind of responses i'm going to get), Dr. Doom's attitude is becoming tiresome. I don't mind it when he's like this towards other villains, but truth be told, i think i prefer the Fantastic Four Animated Series/The Incredible Hulk the animated series incarnation of this character; he was essentially the same bad guy, but somehow, his attitude seemed less bigoted and more or less just smug.

I liked this episode. I swear, the plot-related ones are so much better than the "filler" ones. The fights and dialogue were all entertaining, and Doom is cunning, s always. I wish Widow had been here, though.

Doom has always kind of been somewhat....racist against every one thats non-Latverian.

Tremendous episode building off of previous stories and interactions. Doom has been a great villain throughout this show as well as a regular, recurring character.

Dr. Doom proved to be quite smart and cunning showing that the UN conference was all just a ruse to hack into the Avengers systems. He hinted at a begrudging respect for Captain America. This is all very interesting. In the comics, it was reminiscent of a recent Amazing Spider-Man story when Captain America was serving as Dr. Doom's bodyguard. In that story, Captain America got knocked out, and Spider-Man ended up defending Doom from a gauntlet of dissidents trying to assassinate Doom. In the end though, Captain America proved he is much smarter and less gullible than he appeared as he was cautious enough to detect Doom's potential deception. Once again proving that Captain America should be the leader of the team and not Iron Man. For 1, Iron Man is a terrible leader and field commander. 2, Cap is truly the heart and soul of the team. 3, Cap may be a man out of time, but he knows how to adapt and assess threats better than anyone else currently alive. 4, as Dr. Doom blatantly says, he's a man that can achieve miracles through sheer will alone. My favorite line of this episode.

I enjoyed this episode as well. For some reason the Dr. Doom episodes are usually pretty decent. One of my favorite episodes in the series so far.

I'll bet if Black Widow were there, she would've hated the plan as much as Cap did.

A great episode overall, just like all the other Doctor Doom related stories so far. This was probably my favorite though, since for a change Doom wasn't trying to be Thor's nemesis (like he was in his previous appearances), and his interactions with Captain America here were good. Some of Doom's lines in this episode were pretty great, and I'd say he's one of the best villains this show has to offer. As a bonus, I wasn't expecting Doom's story to merge with the Cabal, so that was pretty cool. Doom's episodes up to this point, while pretty great, were still kind of separate from the main "continuity" of the show, so I thought this episode here was probably the most continuity-heavy story so far, and that's saying a lot.

Still, there were a couple of things I could have done without (like Hawkeye's "number 2" joke, or the running gag of Hyperion being deaf), but other than that the episode played out pretty well. There's also the fact that despite all the stuff going on here, I don't think anything has changed by the end of the episode - the Cabal is still at large, Doom didn't get anything he wanted, and the heroes' lives remain pretty much the same. Even so, this episode was pretty entertaining for the most part, and I guess that's what really matters. Like I said before, if the episodes were only written a little better, I wouldn't really mind the lack of progress and continuity that much; if more episodes were like this one, I'd probably enjoy the show more.

I thought this episode was a marked improvement over the past two episodes. Doctor Doom was written fairly competently, and I also like Captain America’s characterization. The episodes with Doom and the Cabal seem to at least have a little more focus than the non-Doom, non-Cabal episodes, which are really starting to seem like filler to me.

I am kind of getting concerned that Black Widow hasn’t been in three episodes in a row now (with no explanation), and she wasn’t exactly getting strong billing in previous episodes overall to begin with. Yes, in the first season of A:EMH, Wasp was the only female member of the Avengers, but at least she appeared often, and there were other women on the show (Maria Hill, Jane Foster, Pepper Potts, Enchantress, Sif, Viper, Mockingbird, Carol Danvers, Ravonna, and yes, Black Widow herself). On this show, not only is Black Widow the only female member of the Avengers, she appears to be the only female on the show period. Oh well, I’m sure it’s another “we’re aiming for 6-11 year old boys!” decision, so probably no use arguing about it…

The Doom episodes have all been pretty good. While Planet Doom was over all a better episode this one was still quite good. I really liked how Doom was far from helpless even when he removed all his weapons. There were times when I was expecting Doom to actually be a sophisticated robot as his plan but turns out that was the actual Doom.

I'm glad Doom is not joining the Cabal, he would just make things worse. That team already has a huge ego problem. Every member has a huge ego and thinks he should be in control. That's not really something that makes a team good. The only thing the Cabal has going for it is that the avengers (so far) don't work that much better as a team.

The reason we don't see Black Widow as much is because she's also a SHIELD agent running ops for Nick Fury.

Credit where credit is due - a very entertaining episode, even with its logical flaws (if nothing else, MODOK would have been able to seize the Avengers Tower's weapons and defenses - he is a technomancer, after all - but as may be. The villains, if written to their full potential, would have stomped the good guys - even with Doom - flat).

Add my voice to those who actually liked this episode.

I'm not finding many episodes of Avengers Assemble to be my cup of tea but this was a valiant effort. I also got a good laugh out of the first time Hyperion said "what?" after having his ears blasted by Doom.

It's official: I have now preordered GTA VI for PlayStation 5; the more expensive and feature-complete Ultimate Edition of the game, that is. I also intend to buy a PS5 Slim optical drive next month(?) in the hopes of maybe indirectly convincing SIE to reverse its controversial plans to go all-digital on all post–Jan 2028 PS console games, even though GTA VI is a digital-only game.
