Most hated commercial?

Really? I thought that was pretty funny for a kids' commercial.

Anyway, I hate, hate, HATE that "Rrrrruffles" baby, "NEW MAX-A-RONI, HERE'S THE DEAL!", and Kidz Bop.

More good choices.

And wow! 7 pages worth of goodness. My most loved commercials post has, what, 4 now? These commercial posts are popular.

Really starting to hate that Converse classic commercial with that sad excuse for "poetry." It was alright when it started but now it's getting way too much play.

And a question about a commercial. You know those commercials for Time Warner Calbe or I-control or whatever where a person imagines a rediculous situation where they're inconvenienced by their cable TV or Dial-Up connection and they announce a weird conclusion about their fantasy (possibly a regional thing). In the one where the guy mentions to his friend that if they watch a movie than he won't have time to pick up his mother from the airport, after he has the fantasy about his mother being picked up by bikers and being arrested for a bar brawl what does the guy say? What I can get is "Cable won't make my mom *mumblemumble* in the yard." What does he mumble!?

Those commercials are actually decent and somewhat humorous (I usually always chuckle at "Dial-up won't bury joggers in my garden!") but in the above example it's completely ruined by the fact that the punchline is ruined.

New one to add- the new adverts for Currys, an electronics chain in the UK. They have this really annoying woman with big teeth sticking her face in front of the camera and a horrible jingle- "Currys, always cutting prices!"

another stupid one...

That damned lady in the crest white strips commercial trying to talk ending up sounding like she has no lower jaw bone while using the strip then takes it off and talks more.. makes me want to punch her teeth down her throat so she won't have to worry about white strips or advertising like a moron again...

I'd also have to say that Sony long life light bulb commercial where this idiot stacks up all his furniture to put in the light bulb.. I guess he's too stupid to invest in a foot stool or ladder.. It'd be justice just to see the screen go black just as you hear a loud scream then a deafening crash.

next up...the Depends commercial where the old lady talks about losing bladder control and confides in her fogey buddies abut how her depends diapers now help.. I can just imagine they had to cut out the crinkling noises she made when she walked.

I hate that one Comcast commercal with the two "nerds" trying to talk to the ladies and their attention is averted by Star Trek. Worst case of sterotypeing ever.

Those tapon commercals where they say that "wearing a pad feels like a diper." If it feels like a diper than you're obvously not whearing the right kind.

The Carrot Top commercals. 'Nuff said.

The "Worsip Together" commercals that come on like every few minutes on cable. I hate haveing relgion stuffed down my thraot. And the fotages of those conserts are disterbing for some reason.

Kidz Bop. I hate it when they butcher songs and "kiddiefy" them.

The stupid verb commericals, of course. And the Scooby Doo snack commercial where the people start talking like the characters, plus that Nike commercial with the kid saying he'll outrace anyone. I always have to mute those they are so annoying.

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet, but I dislike every Pepsi commercial where they compare themselves to Coke. All of them are annoying.

We have a local commercial for Jim Reed, THE AUTO GIANT where a car salesman is walking around Nashville making stupid poses. DEATH TO HIM!

Skippy Squeeze: I, for one, do not feel especially cool when I eat peanut butter.

Trix: In all honesty, I think those selfish kids are sparing a poor, innocent rabbit a bowl of hell-in-your-mouth.

Kidz Bop: I think everone knows about this.

Verb: Why do you need commercials for a part of speech? Why not "Preposition" or "Adjective Clause"? I might finally be able to pass english. Woo.

GO YAFFA!!!

these little plastic containers they are trying to sell as real furniture

...

These aren't so much hated commercials as are ones that freaked me out.

The first was an Ego commercial where the father, after trying (and failing) to get waffles from was son and daughter, trys to take them from the baby. Then in one of the most freaky things I have ever seen, the baby turns into some wacked out monster and stops the father from getting her Ego's.

The second one was a pringles commercial with what looked to be some kinda clay faced boy and girl. They spent the whole commerical speaking in jibberish with the girl always trying to take the chips from the boy. It was mostly just how their faces looked and some of the things they did that creeped me out.

Ok, this commercial makes me want to throw a brick through the TV Screen. The one for those Toaster Strudels, the kid has a piece of Toaster Strudel on his pants and he's like, "look, it's toaster strudel." The other kid eat's and and asks for more. WHAT'S THE FRIGGIN PUNCHLINE?????

an oldie but baddie, almost as bad as the infamous "I've fallen and I cna't get up" tagline

a kid is being grilled by his dad about the drugs he found in the kid's room. then after a heated verbal beating the kid just bursts out with "I LEARNED IT FROM WATCHING YOU, DAD!" followed by akward silence. Ugh!

I hate the subway commercials too. They have one blonde guy on there and you can tell he is a real a-hole in real life.

Sort of. There were two of them. In the one you're describing, all the baby does is grab the father by the hand and lift him up into the air with superhuman strength and shake him up a bit. The other(And freakier one)is where that girl is talking to her doll, and when her brother tries to touch her Eggo, she turns into a freaky-looking monster.

Personally, that reminds me of a commercial that I downright HATED as a kid. Back in the mid-90's, they advertised for Rice Krispies Treats by having a kid get angrier and angrier because they wanted one. Finally, they turn into a clay-faced denizen of hell, screeching, "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-EEEEEEE-IIIIII WAAAAAAAAAANT OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONEEEE!!!" Those things gave me nightmares. Anyone else remember them?

This is local, but i think those Jordans furniture guys are starting to wear out their welcome IMO (Though i DID love their Simpsons parody).

The Old navy ones. They really think they sell cheap.(Here in puertorico there's old Navy stores as well).

and the Scooby doo commercial that everybody starts saying "Scooby dooby doo!"

The new Pepsi Vanilla vs. Vanilla Coke commercial. Enough said.

These are part of a campaign from the Centers for Disease Control. (Apparently, other people were confused, as their name now appears alongside their logo; albeit as "U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/CDC"). The idea is for kids to get out and do things, hence the idea of "Verb: it's what you do." As I said before, I'm guessing they figured "Hey you! Excersize, you lazy bum!" wasn't an effective slogan.

they're not really terrible ads, but those 'Worship Together' things are hideously, HIDEOUSLY overplayed. >_<;; I've gotten to the point that if one comes on, I wanna take an axe to my TV.

Happy 15th anniversary to Secret Mountain Fort Awesome!

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!

WB has done so well with releasing the Paramount Popeye cartoons on home media that they should be chosen to distribute the long-delayed animated Popeye film that at various points was to be made by Sony and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who has a long association with WB sister property Cartoon Network).
