Most hated commercial?

That Burger King ad with the black cowboy singing about the Bacon Tendercrisp Cheddar Ranch sandwich. The commercial really has an identity crisis, I don't know whether or not its trying to be sexy, family friendly or funny and it fails at all of them. Everytime that ad airs, I reach for the mute button on my remote, so it can reduce the pain.

This thread is still going?

Anyway I going to say I hate all commericials now I think their dumb and waste of time. The only ones that are some what entertaining are those Geico commercials.

You're referring to Darius Rucker, AKA Hootie from Hootie & the Blowfish.

And, I happen to like that commercial for some reason.

EDIT:

For sheer foulness, nothing beats the commercials for Enzyte, the most tastelessly-promoted of all the "natural male enhancement" products.

First, there's the main character, "Bob". I think the commercials should at least mention the drug's horrible side effects: namely, that hideous death-rictus grin on "Bob's" face. What good is all that "enhancement", if it only makes you look so much like The Joker, you'll never get any action anyway?

And have you seen "Bob's" wife? Geez! No wonder the guy needs drugs to do the deed. If I had to get into bed with that woman, I'd be dosing myself with roofies.
Best post of this thread, by far.

Those Enzyte/"Bob" commercials are irritating because, not only are they stupid, but they air CONSTANTLY! If you watch Comedy Central or Adult Swim you're subjected to it at nearly every commercial break.

Here's a list of commercials that, in addition to being lame, are also offensive and disrespectful:

-The commercial where Fred Astaire dances with a digitally-added vacuum. I can't remember what company did these commercials, but I remember it pissed off a lot of people when it aired a few years ago. Poor Fred. :(

-There is a chain of used car dealers in Southern California that used Jim Varney as their spokesman. After he died, they started using a horrible looking CG version of Jim Varney instead! I literally screamed when I saw the commercial. It was that bad.
This commercial only airs in SoCal, so I take comfort in the fact that the rest of the country doesn't have to see Varney's grave get robbed by a used car lot. :(

there are some ridiculous tag/axe spray deodorant commercials where this guy sprays some tag/axe on and the women start to go crazy by the smell and attack the man. those commercials are just not funny.

Those Bob ads. Once you figure out the innuendo they get old.
The worst part about those ads is that they don't mention the obvious side effect: that hideous death-rictus grin that Bob always has on his face. I mean, what's the point of all that "male enhancement" if you only end up looking so much like The Joker that you'll never get any action anyway?

And while I'm on the subject, have you seen Bob's wife? Jeez, if I was sharing a bed with that, I'd be taking pills, too. But not Enzyte.

Those new Worship Jamz are just... wrong. I can sort of understand why they created Kidz Bop (so that kids would have cleaner songs or something) but the Christian music is as clean as it comes!!

I screamed "murderers!!!" when I saw the ad for the Kidz-Beatles CD. Hehhh, it was funny... But it hurts to see them promote defiling songs. I mean, it's one thing if they make a Spears song worse, but it's totally another when they butcher Float On or a classic Beatles song. >_<

And those lame Evergirl commercials on Nick. Blah!

The Axe ones came first, so my loyality is towards them, but those are freaking hilarious! I always tease my Dad now ('cause he uses Axe) that whenever he gets some sort of special treatment is's because of his Axe. So funny...

One of the few commerical series I actually bother muting when it comes on is the series of "Charmin Ultra" commericals with the animated bears. Seriously, a cartoon bear smiling in ecstasy over the softness of toilet paper is not going to get me to buy the product. And the jingles are bad enough to make me want to put a bullet through my TV.

This makes me think of one of my favorite commercial related scenes on tv. It was in the "Mr. Plow" episode of The Simpsons:

Advertising Guy: "You don't need to worry, Mr. Simpson. We'll come up with a commercial that will save your business. You know those radio ads where two people with annoying voices yammer back and forth?....I invented those!"

Homer gets up from his chair and punches the advertising guy in the face.

Advertising Guy: "I get that a lot..."

:D

Really? I was wondering what the female opinion was on those ads. I imagined every single girl in the world rolled their eyes and groaned at them.

That AARP commercial about social security, where the message is "If you had a problem with the kitchen sink, you wouldn't tear down the entire house." Who's the dope that came up with analogy!? It doesn't hold at all! If the problem with the kitchen sink is analogous to the problems with social security, then the SS system would be analogous to the plumbing system, not the house! The government would be the house! And no one is suggesting that we tear down the government. On top of that, I think the kitchen sink problem is a gross understatement of the severity of the problems with the SS - a better analogy would be lead pipes representing the problems in the SS system, and in that case you would have to tear it all out. But I digress. I'm rambling. I'll stop now. I just really, really hate that commercial.

That MnM Amazing Candy bar one with the little girl in a weird position, moving around in a circle, freaks me out. I think because shes in a perverted postition that I get bothered by it lol

That M-azing commercial is the devil.

Those thousands of Jamster commercials really bother me. It appears now to be a required advertizment on every channel like car commercials. Not to mention I've notice them flood almost every popular webpage on the net.

All those "Worship Together" ads. During my brief up at 5AM period watching [adult swim], this ad was on EVERY SINGLE DAY!

The worst commercial of 2005 as of now can be summed up in only seven words...

"Has anyone gone to the Post Office??!"

Axe Bod Gel, its commercials are even worse then Enzyte's, it remids me of the Maxim hair gel commercials from a couple months ago. Man, I'm glad those are gone.

Jamster. Oh-Em-Gee, how I hate those ads. They're on ALL THE TIME. Especially that frog one. I was watching a Futurama marathon back in January, and the Jamster frog ad was on EVERY. SINGLE. BREAK. AUGH.

Happy 15th anniversary to Secret Mountain Fort Awesome!

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
