I thought it was Eddie and Emily.

The various faces of the PBS acronym.

PBS most commonly refers to the American television network.

The Maltese and Thai PBSs have the same full name as the American one, although with a plural on the former, and the word "Thai" added to the latter, before them.

The other PBSs in order: the Philippine Broadcasting Service, PBS Holding, its Hungarian subsidiary, and PBS International, a Hungarian job-finder company.

So much PBS…

You oughta see how many “alphabet” networks there are. First you have the old “American Broadcasting Company”, then you have:

“The” Australian Broadcasting Corporation” (and “the” its part of it’s “nom de plume” as the French say)

the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation (part of the Asahi group of networks*)

Well that’s all the ones I can think of, anyway…

*Not to be confused with “TV Asahi” from Tokyo (“Asahi Broadcasting” comes from Osaka), which is part of the same group.

That's a car who get lots of heads turning.

If you were born in this century, you have probably never heard of Lincoln's Futura concept from 1955. That said, you may recognize it as the basis of one of the most iconic Batmobiles ever made. Either way, it's the sort of car that you simply cannot buy, and that's a real pity. It harks back to a time when Lincoln was building some of the finest luxury cars America had to offer, and while plans are being made to recapture that fire in the future, there's a strong attraction to the ambitious and eclectic designs of the 1950s. So how does one satisfy the desire for a car that is unobtainable? By creating their own take on it, of course.

The custom creation before your eyes comes from James Benken, owner of Batrodz Resurrection Garage in Jamesport, New York. After watching his build unfold over the past few months, CarBuzz caught up with him to find out what went into this incredible masterpiece.
"After building Gotham Roadster-style cars for many years, I had an idea for doing something different, so I came up with the 1955 Lincoln Future hot rod concept last year," recalls Benken.

But rather than simply recreating something from days gone by, Benken put his own unique spin on the styling and says that "the car design is a hybrid mix of the 1955 Futura concept car, 1966 Barris Batmobile, and C4 Corvette."

“The Autobots”?! Holy “similarly named works”, Batman!

OTOH, does it also have villains in it? If so, I guess that would that make them….well, you know.

Me and my twin brother were playing a logo quiz from Youtube an hour ago.

This was one of the hardest questions we've ever seen.

I said Vine.

My brother said Vimeo.

And the answer was Venmo. When "Venmo" popped up, my brother thought that it was a typo of Vimeo. So we searched for Vimeo, then for Venmo. We were surprised that this was really Venmo.
This was on a "100 famous logos" quiz, and Venmo isn't as famous as Vimeo.

I wonder which next songs from the 1980s then the series Stranger Things will use and re-enter the charts?

As I said back then, yesterday was IlPuyoPuyo(tchi)'s birthday (and also JTZ's in this forum).
I mentioned the Youtube post about it too: me and The Good Advice Kiki were the only ones to celebrate her birthday. We both have a sweet friendship with her.
(I wrote "her" because the OC is female, so I think that the person is female too)

To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Nicktoons in the US has recently aired something that no one expected: an AI generated ad for an overpriced plush toy.
Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
