"The Cat's Car" - You know normally in these "flashback" episodes that reveal someone's past where they have to face their true memories the idea how fragile and how tainted our memories can be painted based on the actual person subconciously wanting to change them. Yeah obviously Cat and whoever's working with her (more on that later) want Tulip for something but I like the idea that it was Tulip subconciously wanting to just remember things in this positive happy light when even on smaller occassions like with the dolphin show it wasn't the case and then with the whole divorce scene which... yeah props for getting a scene like that real past on Cartoon Network these days. Even in stuff like Steven Universe there's more metaphor or oddity to cut through but this whole "yeah I know it's not my fault it's you trying to change everything" does feel real and I also like how though it is sort of a lesson for Tulip on remembering things properly this actually results in an overall loss with the whole "not even wanting to look at the number and cover it up" which I guess since it's not resolved in the next ep will probably only come at a more climatic moment in the story which I dig. I also like the idea of the cat now specifically working for this force behind the train who wants Tulip for... something. I do hope they explain more if they have this No Face creature (that yeah was bested before but could still probably take Tulip) why they aren't using it but still good stuff. There was a few good jokes with one one flipping between liking the idea of being kidnapped and then telling cat "off" at the end and continuing the whole "Tulip is the only one with hands" theme of her group but a more serious episode dealing with a more dramatic theme works well here.

"The Unfinished Car" - I guess since it's a kids show they do have to spell out the message of "I've been there I know things sometimes you want to fix but can't and have to deal with it" but I do like it's sort of one one who needs that or at least something in one one. Yeah guess because of how the pilot went you knew there was something with the little robot but it's pretty clear he connects pretty well to the main mystery of the train which we'll probably only find out in like the final episode. Still nice to have an episode on someone else with a problem and Tulip trying to help out in a different way. I also like the idea that you think this unfinished cart actually needs to be fixed but them finding their own way with what is seemingly not there actually works for them and trying to "fix that" hurts the turtle economy. And this was a funnier episode with Atticus and the turtle king becoming friends especially talking about wanting to meet other regal members of the train or needing to bounce a ball so solid stuff here. First episode was probably better this time around but both worked for what they were.

The Cat's Car

This episode was a mindblow with the flashbacks, but the divorce scene felt so real here. Also the final minute of this episode was pretty dark, I like it. 8/10

The Unfinished Car

Alright episode, I liked the idea of how turtles are using jam to move fast. 7/10

The way they exit a different car at the end of each episode makes me really curious about their activities in them. Maybe if this miniseries (???) is successful enough, CN can put out a series of comic book tie-ins that explore the other cars. Anyways,

The Cat's Car
We finally get to have an in depth look of how the divorce is affecting Tulip. The white noise creeping up on her is a good symbolism of being "trapped" in your fantasies and unable to deal with real life. Also, I agree that the divorce scene felt so real. Things got real heavy once Tulip realized her memories were distorted. Aaaand of course the cat was working for the Conductor, no surprises there, but his confrontation with the cat was pretty intense. Given the TV-PG rating, I actually half expected him to crush the damn kitty to death. I don't think we've seen that kind of death on a CN show since Sym-Bionic Titan(?). Not that I wanted him to, though, I think the cat is a really interesting character. All in all, this is my favorite episode so far.

The Unfinished Car
Pretty run-of-the-mill episode. It honestly could've been just fine without the tacky message spelled out at the end, but I guess it's inevitable. Nevertheless, it's cool to have an episode centered on someone other than Tulip for once. It's interesting to see One-One's two personalities become one under stress.

The Cat's Car: Extremely glad to see the cat back here because I think she makes for an intriguing villain. Hope we see her again during the final showdown on Friday. So the tape was an interesting device, putting Tulip in a trance with her own memories. I think the whole flashback plot was genuinely deep. A lot of times, we view the past through rose-colored glasses, and we see that Tulip was guilty of this. Which, is kind of sad if you think about it because this episode implies somewhat the Tulip doesn't have many happy memories. Of course, the episode didn't have time to explore ALL of Tulip's memories, but still. The TV ad with Atticus and One One made me laugh. I didn't like the part where the dolphin trainer asked why the dolphin wouldn't wake up. And now...the divorce scene. Very real and incredibly written. I think this moment may go down in animation history, honestly. I know what it feels like to go through this, and even though I was much younger when it happened, my equivalent to this scene was similar. So kudos to the writing team for getting this correct. Finally, we see that, surprise of AAAALL surprises, the cat actually is evil and is working with the conductor. Man, the conductor's spider physique is just SO creepy, but it makes for a good design choice. I'm really curious what that red moving line they kept cutting to signifies. Overall, a fantastic episode and one of, if not, the best so far.

The Unfinished Car: I liked the message of this episode. Just because something isn't the way you normally see it doesn't mean it's broken. The turtle society may not have done things in the "traditional" way, but it was functional, which is all that mattered. I liked the interaction between the mail turtle lady and the citizen receiving the mail, as well as the grumpy working turtle. So here's my theory on One One: I believe that the conductor spider thing created a bunch of One One robots to go around the train and fix things that are "broken." Whenever a One One sees something that isn't "correct," they go into a different mode and begin to make it how it's supposed to be. I wonder if One One will unintentionally turn against Tulip at the end. Since I believe his mom is actually the Conductor, maybe One One will listen to her evil plan or she will program him to attack Tulip and kill her. I could be totally wrong, but that's what I'm sensing right now. This episode was entertaining, but I definitely liked the first one better (reason: cat).

Cat's Car: The cat really is a great antagonist and finding out she has to do it really dark. They message of Tulip having to deal with her memories was well presented.

The unfinished car: Kind of more hamfisted on its message not a bad episode though.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
