Strange Nedfellows: Finally caught a new episode. The pacing has really been fantastic so far. Neddy is really is good friends with Vambre and Prohyas considering how much he values honesty from them. Fish Man is pretty much a fish-stalker at this point.

Strange Nedfellows was pretty sweet/funny, New Mighty Magiswords finally comes, yaaaaaay, my favorite best new comedy series,

Prohyas/Vambre's quest to get the Queen Sal was great.
Cool seeing Neddy, he's awesome/funny.
Neddy next to Gateaux, the best anti-hero ally who's actually good friends with Prohyas/Vambre after loving Gateaux's character development:D.
The Prohyas/Vambre/Neddy chemistry while facing the monster guards was great/funny.
Queen Sal and her minions, my next favorite new great enjoyable enemies.
Cool seeing Man Fish, his creepy stalker nature was funny:p.
Prohyas/Vambre/Neddy vs. Man Fish was great/funny.
Great funny ending with Neddy.

I can safely say we're putting our best foot forward here with this latest batch of episodes - must be the pacing improvements I'm sure we were all begging for having something to do with it, as well! Good on this show's crew listening to its viewers, unlike other shows that don't at best and make fun of them for wanting a decent ~ good product at worst.

Strange Nedfellows (High Tier) -
while a slow start at first, we do get some insight that Neddy and the Warriors actually are friends (something his first appearance - The Wrath of Neddy, does not do a good job of in any sense, despite the laughs I did otherwise get out of it, honestly.), which makes why he acted like a jerk to them surprisingly understandable when they lied to him about what they were doing - I'd probably do the same in his position, had that happened to me, as well.

What propels this effort to victory is that the Warriors do finally get through to him and apologize for lying as well, resulting in a happier ending than expected for everyone, including their target for extraction whom their client wanted - despite her reluctance to go with them at first. Still better than being stuck with a loser like Man - Fish, that's for sure (Seriously, Man - Fish really ain't nothing but trouble and seeing him get his butt kicked for being such is something I look forward to whenever he shows up!)!

Fun fact about Man-Fish, he was made for a Megaman Robot Master contest! Seriously, look it up.

This ep was just a load of fun-ALSO-continue to love the subtle continuity in this show, its rewarding to longtime viewers.

Action Comedy (High Tier) - An episode where Prohyas gets to shine - and he does quite well, IMHO, unlike previous efforts that missed the mark quite royally.

Overall, what we have here is a pretty simple, but creatively - handled premise is at play here - some one a bit too old to like something for kids (Prohyas with the whole Broccoli Punch thing.) gets called out on it, but is then needed to save the day, thanks to some extensive geek - level knowledge on how to do things right that our antagonist for today was getting wrond and needed a butt - kicking for. The icing on the cake is that he gains some much deserved respect for kicking so much ass on stage like that - I'm also glad Vambre was so helpful to him, as well. It shows me just how much the two siblings respect each other and how far they are willing to go, as well, all while feeling organic in its execution.

I also like how...incredibly realistic Broccoli Punch is as a licensed super-hero, always making sure to mention the specific farms his broccoli came from.

Nice see Johnny Yong Bosch guest star as Broccoli Punch :D

Are these episodes a good starting point for first time viewers?

Nice see Johnny Yong Bosch guest star as Broccoli Punch :D
Oh dear lord, they had a Power Ranger playing Kamen Rider-THAT'S FREAKING HILARIOUS!
Are these episodes a good starting point for first time viewers?
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh I'd say no, start at season 1 as well as the Magisword shorts which ARE canon.

Action Comedy/Random Acts of Memory were pretty sweet/funny,

The brat group, my favorite recurring enjoyable enemies, love the bad cat among them.
Cool seeing Flonk, my favorite enjoyable bully villain, his evil plan being Broccoli Punch was great.
Morbidia/Gateaux being Broccoli Punch fans was so great/funny, hahahahahaha:p.
Johnny Bosch as Broccoli Punch/Paul Schrier as Flonk was awesome:D.
The brat group wanting Prohyas/Vambre's help was great.
Prohyas/Vambre to stop Flonk was great.
Prohyas' best moment on being Broccoli Punch beating Flonk was awesome/funny.
Funny ending with Gateaux the fanboy, hahahahahahaha:p.

Cool seeing Nohyas, my favorite awesome funny doppelganger villain, finally he gets a major role:D.
The Selective Memory Magisword is pretty sweet.
Nohyas messing with Prohyas/Vambre's memories and their school years was funny:p.
Cool seeing Prohyas/Vambre's funny childhood school years.
The funny live-action hand puppets scene, hahahahaha.
Love the He-Man/Super Mario Brothers 2 references, hehehe:p.
Prohyas getting the Selective Memory Magisword from Nohyas was a great clever plan.
Funny ending, poor Nohyas, hahahahahaha.

Loved the spoof of He-Man! :D

I was thinking that the first short where they were trapped with Prug was non-canon (since another short had Prug remember them but they didn't remember him) who would've guessed that Nohyas was responsible for saving them and erasing their memories? Makes you think how much they planned ahead for this franchise before making the series.

Power Ranger reunion episode at Mighty Magiswords "Action Comedy". Favorite one to this date. With Johnny Yong Bosch as Broccoli Punch and Paul "Bulk" Schrier as Flonk. Great homage to tokusatsu, Kamen Rider and Fujiyachi Ichiban.

I also like Strange Nedfellows. Enjoyed Townsend's performance as Neddy once again.

Stay tuned for the Trollblin episode which not only features Weird Al Yankovic but Rosearik "GIR" Simons and Mark Fite as the Trollblins.

Now the only plothole they need to explain from the shorts is why Grup allied himself with Old man Oldman!

AS FOR THE LATEST EP-love the ending, absolutely adorable.

Random Acts of Memory (Mid High Tier) - Unlike the previous two to premiere this week before it and the one after it... Can't rank this too high. I do admire the world-building on display here with the "relationship" Nohyas and the other warriors share, as well as just how dangerous Nohyas is made out with his lying skills to get his sorry ass out of trouble for so long. Thankfully, THAT's been put an end to, as well - can't let this guy get away with everything - that would be bad writing if such senseless repetition were allowed to continue - FACT.

However...

Elect to Decline (High Tier) -
Way to take the otherwise extremely predictable "Politics suck" angle (which I otherwise hate seeing) and actually make it funny, Mighty Magiswords - so that makes 2 criminally underrated shows on this channel (this one and Clarence - oldPPG and Johnny Bravo already come to mind for legit classics and doing this setup justice, IMHO.) the first to take this crap and poke fun at it like it more than deserves and I love it seeing it.

Also, while it was cute to see Noville and Vambre eating out together, I don't see much else coming out of that; I'll admit it was cute, but I don't trust these writers with this kind of thing, honestly. I'd rather they just stay good friends and Noville continue (which he does well enough on his own here, despite not being all that action-packed, but I digress.) to get good at using Magiswords like his friends, thank you very much - besides, Vambre is NOT someone ready to be tied down by relationships or the drama that follows; these writers should know better, honestly.

This is a pretty good batch of episodes we are having

I do like how Elect and Decline turned out

They See Me Trollblin was pretty sweet/funny,

Ralphio in Prohyas/Vambre's huddle was funny.
Both the Kotassians(looking like Smurfs, hehehe) and the two Trollblins were great new funny characters, both Weird Al Yankavic/Rosearik "GIR" Simons were great in the roles:D.
Cool that the two Trollblins are friendly nice guys and not villains/psychopaths, but love their sweet designs looking like giant chipmunks, hehehe:p.
Prohyas/Vambre solving the problem to stop their war was great/funny, cool seeing Grup there which was funny.
Cool seeing Hoppus, poor Hoppus though.
A funny "here we go again" ending with Angry Hoppus.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
