Working For Scales

Absolutely wonderful, fun Warrior vs Dinosaur action, and an unexpectedly super sweet ending.

Working for Scales was good. We got ourselves a good ol' fashioned dino fight.

I can't blame King Rexxtopher. Dude's just trying to protect his subjects. He and his Dino Patrol really gave the Warriors a whomping.

Awww, the Warriors really care for their princess.

They didn't even take the money. Her being okay was all the payment they needed.

I thought this one was pretty good. I enjoyed the action in this episode.

I have been thinking for a while, how would Princess Zange fare if she meet the Adventure Time princesses, which princesses is she more like. She has some of Lumpy Space Princess personality, but she smarts like Princess Bubblegum, and defiantly much nicer and likable than LSP.

And that ending, I didn't think this is the type of series that would give me feels, but yes I felt the feels, they forgot about the reward and didn't even care about it, the message that they care about Princess Zange and they care more about her than money. And the Zange realizes that and blowing them a kiss, that was so emotionally, I except that from shows like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, not this.

The best episodes for any show, are when they do something you don't expect from them.

Working for Scales was awesome/funny,

Nice seeing Princess Zange(she's more better than piece of crap Lumpy Space Princess), feel sorry for her that she's sick.

Prohyas/Vambre getting the dinosaur scale to cure Princess Zange was great.

Cool seeing King Rexxtopher, my favorite awesome funny antagonist next to Morbidia/Neddy, and his dinosaur subjects were cool:D, they're like the Thunder-Lizards and the Extreme Dinosaurs, awesome.

Prohyas/Vambre vs. King Rexxtopher/his dinosaur subjects was epic/enjoyable with great action, the poor dinosaurs though.

Princess Zange cured was nice.

Nice that both Prohyas/Vambre and Princess Zange care for each other, nice they didn't take the reward, a sweet ending:D.

The Dino Patrol looked like something straight out of an 80s/90s toyetic show

So far, so good with this show. The fact that the Warriors did the job for the sake of a friend instead of the reward was touching. And it made sense if anyone noticed, they didn't go nuts about the treasure chest and how they kept talking about saving a life constantly through the battle.

They reminded me of the Thunder-Lizards from Eek the Cat and Extreme Dinosaurs.

TWO-things with today's ep:

1.Is Gateux royalty?

2. I'm assuming copyright ain't so much a thing in this world, as Witch Way SERIOUSLY thought getting the Warriors to commission for their fan-story would work.

Either way a GREAT ep, anyone whose read a REALLY bad fan story can relate to it,and it was nice seeing Helmut being...weirdly supportive! Also Norville was adorable.

I thought this one was pretty good. Vambre's reaction to that terrible story was fun to watch.

Potion in the Ocean was good. Witchy Simone may be a loose cannon, but she's a darn cute witch.

Dang, the Warriors have been messing up lately. They looked like they were on a bender in that flashback.

So that's what the Warriors' father looks like. Just a humble broccoli farmer. No wonder why Prohyas and Vambre prefer the more exciting adventurer lifestyle.

Heh, Witchy made that pirate fish so mad, his voice cracked. Dude's practically pubescent.

That battle between Witchy Simone and Man Fish was surprisingly strong. Witchy has some powerful magic potential.

I was wondering if they were gonna pluck out the newt's eye Kill Bill style, but offscreen magic is more family-friendly.

Huh, Zombie Pumpkin Magisword's eyes can see spirits. Like Ice King's wizard eyes, you can't tell what's real and what's crazy crazy crazy in your face all the time.

I liked this one. It was a good battle.

Potion in the Ocean was awesome/funny,

Witchy Simone, awesome hilarious female supporting character and one cute witch, nice she gets a major role after her great lesser role in Working For Scales:D, wanting the newt's eye with Prohyas/Vambre's help was great.

Prohyas/Vambre being mess-ups was funny, nice that they're not perfect, hehehe.

Nice seeing Mr. Warrior, the best funny father character.

Prohyas/Vambre and Witchy Simone's chemistry was so great/funny, hahahahaha.

Witchy Simone being a loose cannon with her crazy scary personality was so hilarious, hahahahaha:p.

Man Fish, my favorite great funny antagonist, a guy in a fish suit, I thought he was a mutant fish-man, hehehe:p, Bill Kopp as him, awesome!!!!!

Witchy Simone vs. Man Fish was awesome/funny, Witchy Simone has amazing powerful magic skills.

The funny ending, hahahaha, I hope to see more of Witchy Simone further episodes.

Get ready to squee because Eek the Cat's creator Bill Kopp voices Fish Man in the episode "Potion in the Ocean"

My reviews so far:
Working for Scales- The episode is pretty good. I teared up seeing Princess Zange tearing and blowing a kiss to the Warriors for walking out of the castle, badly bruised and payless but happy. I really like the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers parody sequence for the Dino Patrol, especially since Johnny Yong Bosch is gonna be on the show with Paul Schrier. And Kyle Massey as Mr. Spoony is pretty good.

Felonious Prose- I'm glad for Arin to finally have more lines and Gateaux to have more character development. I also like the fact that he actually stood up against Morbidia. Noville's anti-social ways is also pretty funny as well. And who doesn't love Jim Cummings playing Buford.

Potion in the Ocean - Witchy Simone's loose cannon techniques drove me up. I was also informed of Eek the Cat's Bill Kopp's voice role as Man Fish and he was pretty good doing that funny accent. My brother kept on annoyingly rewind the DVR to see Witchy Simone act crazy. It was pretty good. And I'm glad I finally got to see Mascott in canon with the Rhyboflavin universe.

Can't wait for next episode because BOB CAMP of Ren & Stimpy did some designs for it.

Potion in the Ocean - Witchy Simone seems like the sort of character that could get annoying if overused, so I hope they'll use her sparingly. Otherwise fine episode

Felonious Prose - did anyone else notice the irony of Vambre complaining about the book's protagonist needing a man to save her, while that was exactly the situation Vambre herself was in?

I enjoyed this one. Don't think Prohyas and Vambre know how to play Good Cop, Bad Cop, though.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
