First and foremost, this isn't meant as fantasy schedule thread.

It seems like we have *A LOT* of properties coming up for Toonami this fall and I'd like to try to sort them out in one thread.

As far as I gather, here's the list:
References and Citations must come from either a scheduling service such Zap2it.com and TVGuide.com or a creditable news network such as Anime News Network, G4, Yahoo, IGN or related services.

Also, I've added a section to the Toonami Shows Page so that users can add shows. I won't likely update this page any further.

CONFIRMED SERIES
Several series we have confirmations that of where they will be. All the series we know are divided into their respective blocks. All series here are organized by blocks then in ABC order.

TOONAMI
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo

It ends sometime this fall at this rate but it should be around just long enough to star the block off.

Naruto

One Piece

JETSTREAM
Eyeshield 21

It's been confirmed it will be on Jetstream and as such could be on Toonami.

Cartoon Network only has the streaming rights for this series.

Immortal Grand Prix (IGPX)

The step child of Toonami original programming is returning triumphantly for a run on Jet Stream.

MÄR

It got some Toonami time but simply not enough.

Megaman Star Force
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]

It's going to Jetstream for sure with a 2 hour premier.

Megaman NT Warrior
[ Viz/WB US Site | TV Tokyo JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]

It's going to Jetstream.

Prince of Tennis
[ Shoen Jump US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
Again, it got some run on Toonami, but never a complete.

Zoids Genesis
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References: Answers.com
Zoids has been on Toonami many times in different formats. This one could make it to the block as well. For now, its confirmed to be on Jetstream.
ADULT SWIM
Some Toonami hopefuls will likely go to Adult Swim. This section is for such series.

MASTER CONTROL
Starting sometime in the Fall, Cartoon Network will premier a new block called Master Control. This new block is slanted to take Miguzi's spot in the line up.

References: Toonzone, Movie Web

MIGUZI
Miguzi will be moving to Saturday mornings carrying many series that failed to reach a target audience during Toonami with it.

Transformers - Animated
[ Hasbro US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
Reference: Hasbro, Super Heroes Hype
Yes, the movie spawned another series. This one has some better references then we've seen in past years though. For the first time since Beast Wars, we have a series offically sponsored by Hasbro. This series is supposed to take place in the same continuity as Beast Wars and G1. Last entry on it on Wikipedia states that we likely wont have it 2008. Even then, we don't know exactly where its going to end up at. It won't be joining Toonami based on the press releases but will be coming to CN Saturday Mornings.
Cartoon Network Premiers
This section is for shows that are have been confirmed to not be going to ANY SPECIFIC BLOCK but will be on Cartoon Network.

STATUS SERIES
These are series that we know Cartoon Network has or will have the rights to show and will likely be shown THIS FALL. However, specifics on these series are unknown at this time. Please note, the only series listed here are series that would be in a prime time Toonami 'like' placement. This means series here could be going to Cartoon Network, Toonami, Adult Swim, Miguzi --OR-- Master Control.
Fantastic Four - Worlds Greatest Heroes

Will Fantastic Four return to Toonami AGAIN after it's replaced by Storm Hawks next week? Time will only tell at this point.

Pokemon
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
I don't have any idea what the official fate of this series is but its been linked to Toonami for a while.

Power Puff Girls Z
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
Cartoon Network owns it and has been showing it on TV Tokyo since July 2006. Rumor has it, Cartoon Network will finally employ their monster state side this week with it's debute on Cartoon Network Japan.
Storm Hawks
[ YTV US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
Storm Hawks has been around CN for a few weeks now and seems to be doing well. Will it's move to Toonami speed up it's momentum? At the very least it should carry us into the start of the Fall lineup. The only question is what block will it ultimately wind up on.

Thundercats 2007
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References: Movie Site, Teaser Image
There was a huge rave about it earlier this year but there seems to be no progression on it beyond the teaser image we got.

Yu-Gi-Oh GX

Seems like its still a go

Zatch Bell

It's return is highly anticipated. We left off in the middle of one heck of a fight.
SPECULATED SERIES ACQUISITIONS
First and foremost, these are all series that have been licensed for US Release. These are all series that *MAY* find their way to Cartoon Network and *MAY* end up on Toonami. From past performance, I'm currently not going to rule anything out between Toonami or Adult Swim without references or citations. These are simply series that could be Toonami, Adult Swim, Master Control, Jetstream, The Fix or other CN Action Premier. The status of them will change in this by credited reference or citation only. However, feel free to add to the list =).
Blue Dragon
[ MS US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References: Licensemag.com
The last time table we heard could give enough time for Blue Dragon to be on CN by the fall, but it seems unlikely.

Death Note
[ Viz US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References: Anime News Network
It hasn't been 100% confirmed to be going to Adult Swim but thats where it seems it will end up. I'll keep it on this list till we know for sure. Viz has suggested they'd like to see it on Adult Swim per Anime News Network.

Pretty Cure
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
It's no secret that Toei is desperately trying to make CN pick up Pretty Cure. Supposedly, the first episode was even dubbed and presented in a Toonami-edit format for CN. I'd personally say it's 40/60 in favor of CN not picking the series up, and that's being kind. (From macattack post #45)

Sgt. Frog
[ Adv US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
We've been talking about this one off and on all year. It probably deserves to be on this list until we find out officially one way or another.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
[ Adv US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
Gurren Lagann is another series that's been bounced around as a possible Toonami show. It is considered a 'youth' show in Japan, but contains content that some people don't find suitable for the 9-14 age demographic. It has been picked up by ADV and will be broadcast on The Anime Network, though that hasn't stopped CN before (see Neon Genesis Evangelion and Super Milk-Chan). (From macattack post #45)
SPECULATED SERIES ACQUISITIONS(Not Licensed Yet)
This section is more speculating further down the road. This is a list of series that ARE popular in Japan and may come to Cartoon Network at some point. They are not licensed yet for dub and distribution in the US.
Buso Renkin
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
No info about this one yet. Probably not a series we'd see this fall but maybe in the future.

Code Geass
[ US Site | Bandai / Sunrise JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
Rumor seems to suggest that Bandai now has it License although no source can cite it. The Adult Swim forums make it sound like it's a property CN is interested in getting their hands on.

Gundam 00
[ US Site | Sunrise JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References: Anime News Network
I'm sure Hellcat knows the official on this if there is one but as far as I've been able to find, its only classified as a possible CN Acquisition.

Gintama
[ US Site | JP Site | CN Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References:
No info about this one yet. Probably not a series we'd see this fall but maybe in the future.

Reborn!

SERIES CONFIRMED NOT COMING TO CN
Digimon Data Squad
[ US Site | JP Site | Jetix Site | Wikipedia | TV.com ]
References: Anime Nation, Anime News Network
Case Closed on this one. Its been reported by AnimeNation the series is confirmed to be Jetix property. Doubt this one surprises anyone though.
If you have corrections or additions to this list, please add it to this thread. Once each section has a cited source on it's fate, I'll only change it if a newer and creditable source can be cited.

I'll update the first post periodically.

Let's see:

Naruto and One Piece are the only definites. GX is possible, but it will be joining 4KidsTV, so who knows? I hope it doesn't stick around on Toonami.

Storm Hawks is just reruns, so it isn't really going to be much of anything, if it even stays on the block.

Star Force's premiere will run through about a 3rd of the series. That'd only leave 9 half hour episodes left if it stayed on the block, so it'd be gone by the end of October.

Zatch Bell, MAR and Prince of Tennis all remain open to returning.

As far as the other shows you mentioned:

Digimon is confirmed for Jetix with a hackdub, sadly. Pokemon would just be reruns if it rejoined, the weeknight premieres seem to be doing well.

Eyeshield is possible, although maybe not until early 2008. Sgt. Frog seems to have been passed on. Death Note? Maybe, but I wouldn't count on it.

Code Geass hasn't even been licensed yet, so it'd have to wait until 2008. Gundam 00 doesn't even start in Japan until this fall. If it has the same turnaround as SEED, we'd see it in April of 2009.

Moving on:

Since we haven't heard anything yet on Thundercats or the Turner anime, I wouldn't expect anything from them yet. Legion and The Batman CN premieres are possible.

Leaves open a lot of time on Toonami, especially since Bobobo should end sometime this Fall.

Hopefully that means the return of the 3 long shounen series that left, and maybe a surprise premier. (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha would be a good choice to bring shoujo back to Toonami)

Eyeshield 21 has already been confirmed for Jetstream. Hopefully, it will also make it to the block.

I don't see Death Note coming to Toonami. And Viz has already said they are aiming to get it on Adult Swim.

If Toonami doesn't get Blue Dragon, I'll be shocked. I mean, that show has Toonami written all over it. I'm sure we'll be seeing it on the block soon.

Thanks KuwabaraTheMan, some important things I need to update.

Be advised, the *ONLY REASON* Death Note is on the Toonami list is because its fate isn't locked in. I heard an exc at CN said it's been confirmed for adult swim but I can't find any accredited sources.

Since theres a debate on where it should be going on in the anime forum, I have it on this list.

And we already KNOW that Toonami Jetstream will have Eyeshield 21!

Ah, right. I forgot about Blue Dragon. That should probably air on the bock at some point. That still leaves quite a bit of open time on the bock, though.

Why is there even a debate on this? It's Adult Swim material, period.

Depends on how they'll handle Hiruma's gun edits.

Naruto will probably be going on to the Hurricane Legend season if Viz is serious about getting good ratings. One Piece's success is anybody's guess. If FUNimation can seriously turn this dub around, it'll become a mainstay.

I PERSONALLY think the same thing, but it seems we're in the minority. This debate is even going on on the OFFICIAL Adult Swim Forums. Go figure.

This is only speculation and everything I've looked up suggests its not going to happen.

Personally, I'd like to see Naruto go to weekdays just to burn through the damned filler!

For the speculated series, you list a lot that are not even remotely possible. This is for the fall, yes?

Gundam 00 only starts in Japan in September. (first episode airs on the 10th of September or somewhere around there.) It's not even all that likely that it will be here for even Fall 2008 let alone 2007. Plus, with the failure of Gundam Seed, I somehow don't feel that they'll pick up another Gundam series unless it is insanely popular.

Death Note is definitely not Toonami material. I'd love to see something like Death Note on Toonami, but again, it's not at all likely.

Overall, there's not much I'm looking forward to. No good new anime series. I'd like to see the new Digimon anime (since I liked the old ones when I was a kid) but I don't think Toonami will get it. I am definitely not looking forward to Eyeshield 21. If you want to see sports, watch ESPN, not some anime. I do not see the point of sports anime. They're incredibly boring, have no plot, and generally have average or mediocre animation. The new Transformers series sounds good, but I don't know why you included it, when you yourself said that it's likely it won't be here until 2008.

Oh, and filler Naruto. Great.

Another crappy year for Toonami, I say. When filler Naruto starts, I'll probably stop watching Toonami altogether.

Code Geass is also Adult Swim material. That is all.

[/repeat performance]

The only thing I'm looking forward to is FUNi One Piece. I've never seen the One Piece anime (and I'm too lazy to go out of my way to watch it), so it looks like this will be my chance. After six or so years, I'll finally have a reason to watch Toonami again.;) I might also check out the Naruto fillers, just to see how bad they really are. Don't care about Zatch Bell or whatever else it is that Toonami airs these days.

As for Jetstream, I'm meh on Eyeshield 21. Didn't care for what I saw of it, and I've discovered that I don't particularly care for sports anime, especially if I'm actually interested in the sport in question. I'm going to have to disagree with FatFree, though. Sports anime do have plot, it's just that the plot centers around the sport, something that is a highly unusual concept to some people (and whether or not they're boring is entirely subjective). In reality, there's no difference between moving from fight-to-fight in, say, Dragonball Z than moving from match-to-match in Prince of Tennis. The same underlying concept is there: train, get stronger, perform better. In many ways, I actually prefer the environments of sports anime, as I've always had a preference for anime grounded in reality. The thing that bothers me about a lot of sports anime is that many of them feature those spunky, often spineless underdog characters. Rooting for the underdog is great and all, but the concept gets old pretty quickly.

And...Death Note and Code Geass will not be on Toonami. The end.

Death Note is definitely not Toonami material. I'd love to see something like Death Note on Toonami, but again, it's not at all likely.

Again, for the last time, Death Note is on there only because there is a debate going on about it.

The list remains objective. I've already said my belief is it shouldn't be considered, but the fact a debate ensues on it both on Toon Zone, Adult Swim Forums and Sci-Fi BBS, it has its place on this list from an objective point of view.

I'm not saying that again =P.

Finally, let me remind everyone, the status of each Speculated Series only changes with citations to remain objective. That doesn't mean I might not change the description a bit though =).

Also, while I am mentioning citations, let me also throw out that if anyone has a citation for Digimon, that would be nice. There seems official confirmation that it will officially be on Jetix, but nothing official.

There was a press release a month back saying Digimon Savers is coming to Toon Disney.

Thanks, the missing link for me finding an article was trying to look it up under "Jetix". When I hunted for Disney instead there were a half dozen articles on it.

Filler Naruto. If Viz were to listen to the fans, then we'll have the fillers dumped into another show, aptly named "Naruto: Tales From the Hidden Leaf Village!" And have the story get closer to where Japan has gotten in the main series!

Aptly named would be "Naruto: Confusing tails of horror"

SGT. Frog has already been licensed by ADV.

Thanks, I always actually already fixing that when I added all the official websites for each series =)

Zoids Genesis was licensed last year by Viz Media. It was announced for Jetstream in the original press release, though it has yet to appear.

The new Transformers series is called Transformers: Animated (not All Spark), and it's confirmed for CN Sat. AM starting next year.

It's Digimon: Data Squad, not Digimon: Data Savers, and as mentioned before, Toei has granted the broadcasting rights to Toon Disney.

Missing from your list is IGPX, which was also been announced for Jetstream in the original press release and is believed to be taking over for Samurai Jack when it ends.

Also, it's Storm Hawks, not Thunderhawks, that's taking over for F4, and the F4 premieres will be on CN Sat. AM now.

Not sure where you got "Thunderhawks" from .

I'm checking to see if their are citable sources for anything else mentioned.

It does give me something to look at. Leads always help =)

Alrighty, that works, adding them to the list =).

The new Transformers series is called Transformers: Animated (not All Spark), and it's confirmed for CN Sat. AM starting next year.

I've seen three different names for this series now including but not limited to Transformers: All Spark, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Transformers: Animated and Transformers: Heroes. It's safe to say there's not a final title yet as its not even officially on hasbros site yet.

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
