I don't see much of a point in them airing Bleach reruns outside of Toonami when the show has already finished. At least Shippuden is new and Attack on Titan has a second season on the way, so those choices would make more sense. The idea of One Piece airing after DBZ Kai certainly wasn't a bad idea and I do think that the anon in that comment was being a bit rude, but I still say that the main problem came down when they started the rerurns. One Piece has never been a huge ratings hit compared to some of their other popular shows, but that might not have been as much of an issue if they started this experiment at a different point in the current arc or waited until the start of a new arc, even though I don't know when that happens. DBZ Kai reruns started right before Goku vs. Vegetta I think, which is already one of the more popular fights in a popular series, so that gave it a major advantage ratings wise. It still might not have worked out even with a better starting point for the reruns, but I think that would have given it a better chance. They might still be able to get another reruns slot at some point and One Piece is doing well enough on the block itself, which is what really counts here.
As for Sword Art Online 2, even seeing the trailer last weekend reminded me too much of why I hate the first season with a fiery passion. It's just such a shame that it replaces a show that I genuinely loved and enjoyed, which is actually pretty rare for a show on this block now that I think about it. Most of the shows I end up watching either start out good, but become worse over time, are bad from start to finish or are just okay/good, but nothing that I'd want to watch again. The list of shows that Toonami has aired that I really enjoyed would probably be pretty small if I checked the list of shows Toonami 2.0 has aired thus far. Oh well. At least I can easily avoid it and Kill La Kill in just one hour and either watch the other shows later on in the block or just watch them On Demand the next day.
