For some reason Cowboy Bebop doesn't have any episode title listed on the August 18th schedule. Samurai 7 I can understand since it's a new show, but Cowboy Bebop has been rerun to death. I wonder why...

Maybe they're still considering whether to keep it or switch it out with a different show.

Jason DeMarco tweeted that they're making a new promo. I'm hoping that it's for Samurai 7, but it could be possible that it could also be for Bleach, since it's returning to canon episodes.

If they do not promote Samurai 7 at least a week in advance I will lose a good deal of respect for the Toonami staff.

Apparently, the new promo is going to have "a suprise or two in it."

Samurai 7, good pick-up. But if they are going to show Samurai 7 . . . it's time to get Gun X Sword on the air already. Gun X Sword = ratings. Just seems to be the perfect type of show for new Toonami and more people need to watch this show.

Yes Yes Yes...!!

Watched both series this year on netflix. Both solid anime. I love shows where every hero met during the shows run meets up at the end, for the final battle. Gun X Sword is friggin epic. Not as epic as Gurren Lagann, but in its own right. GXS has the toonami vibe in all the right places. Mecha? Check. Sword fighting? Check. Gun battles? Check. Quirky characters? Check. Psycho-cult babble? Absolutely! DeMarco, browsing around funi's older but solid series, and this show deserves a timeslot.

To be honest, Gun X Sword is a better choice than Samurai Seven. It's not as old, nor was it as exposed as the latter because it never got a US broadcast IIRC. It aired up here though.

Adult Swim recently updated their video schedule, and I noticed something odd. Casshern Sins episodes will continue being streamed on Gold, but Samurai 7 isn't anywhere. I checked a few days ago, and they didn't have anything beyond August 12. Now that it is updated, could it be possible that Adult Swim doesn't have streaming rights for Samurai 7?

This is possible. They may not have brought them, if it were possible to acquire the TV and streaming rights separately.

Hmm so according to promo it'll be Eureka 7 at 1:30am, Will it replace FMA:B or something else.
