Guessing after FLCL's run finishes we get movies throughout December.

So they want IGPX, Big O and Bebop to finish the same week, makes sense. I'm glad decided to run Big O on the block even if it was just for the sake of completion. Bebop needs the break, so I'm glad Ghost in the Shell is back. The show deserves to finish its interrupted run, though it's after Brotherhood but that I don't mind. FLCL is back and it's back at an early slot. I don't like it, but it makes sense to put it there. It's not gonna last long though and they can't rerun it for very long either. Wonder if they have something planned afterward, they must have. IGPX gets to rerun, which makes sense, they did a lot to get it back and don't have it forever. It's probably not gonna do well there though. It's the worst slot. Bebop didn't do good there in the end, and IGPX isn't even doing very good where it is now, but hopefully it can keep up.

Good to see FLCL and Ghost in the Shell for another run. I'll be tuning in for FLCL most likely, but when Cowboy Bebop goes on break, will it still be able to finish up it's current run (I haven't seen the show in it's entireity and I hope it sticks till it's current run is done)? (EDIT: Nvm)

This is actually a pretty good lineup they got here. Bebop definitely needs a break after three consecutive runs. When it inevitably returns in 2014, here's hoping for HD tapes for it. I'm really glad to see FLCL coming and GITS returning to the block, GITS especially since I never actually watched it and really want to. Their comment about "keep your eyes peeled in November" has me thinking that FLCL is just a placeholder, but regardless, it's good to see it finally see it back on [as] after having been off for a year and a half. Not too surprised at all that Big O is gone after this run, with them not having the first season and all. Still, though, I do hope one of those announcements is that they reacquired the first season. I honestly don't mind IGPX rerunning at 4:30. The show sort of grew on me, so it might be worth it for me to give some of the earlier episodes a rewatch, since I'll be up that late watching GITS anyway. Overall, I'm pretty happy about the schedule changes.

While it's just interesting in a "Oh hey, I know that voice" way, the date of the tweet concerns me. The character he's voicing first appears in episode 317, and the wording of the tweet indicates that he only started the role a week ago. The day after the tweet, Toonami aired episode 315.

If the gap from where dubbing is to where Toonami is airing is that small, Bleach might end up going on another hiatus around the holiday season again...

The problem is, many of us want Bleach to finish sooner rather than later, so another show can take its place. I do feel like another hiatus is upon us, judging by that tweet. I think someone should ask Toonami about the possibility of another Bleach hiatus during their Q&A on Sunday.

You know, the next filler arc introduces at least two characters (one of which he is voicing), and then the next cannon arc has at least seven new characters, so...

Cam Clarke voiced a Soul Reaper and maybe some incidentals earlier in the series.
I hope there isn't another hiatus but it's not out of the question. If they have one, perhaps it's time to give Naruto 12AM. With Boondocks encores likely for Saturday in January the 12AM show will get a nice boost and if that's Bleach reruns that might weaken the effect a great deal.

I don't expect we'll have movies through December, maybe one but I do expect they'll run a movie on Thanksgiving weekend. I figure that'll be the Saturday they play the upcoming movie which is not tied-in to any of their shows.

I also don't expect them to premiere a show in December though they did do that with Naruto last year. They can always run FLCL twice which gets them to January. There's really no telling if they have any noteworthy plans for 2:30 once FLCL ends. I think it's reasonable to expect if FMAB leaves that they could get an older FUNimation license to fill a slot as a trade-off. That will end in February baring pre-emptions.

I think Titan is a given considering it's like the most-wanted show for Toonami according to their fan input. I do wonder what Aniplex show they could air though. Madoka would be my ideal show, but I know there's basically zero chance of that happening at this point. I'm gonna say the poor taste of internet fans makes us suffer with Valvrave (or even worse, Vividred) unless by some miracle a dub of Kill la Kill is ready to air before the show ends its run in Japan. That is unless they want to perhaps give us Gurren Lagann maybe? I'd have zero issues with that airing.

I have a bad feeling that Aniplex will also pitch Valvrave hard to Toonami, just because it'll be their newest show around that point. "Hey Toonami, you should totally air Valvrave because it's made by Sunrise! Code Geass did well, didn't it (Even though it bombed on Adult Swim)?" Toonami might go with it too, just because a brand new show could be more appealing to them than the older requested shows in Aniplex's library. Plus, Toonami's a sucker for Sunrise. Thankfully it doesn't nearly have the hype factor that SAO had going for it, which Toonami said came down to SAO being the most requested show from 2012. This year, the most talked about and requested show is Attack on Titan, which by all means deserves to air on the block. If Valvrave is picked up, don't be surprised if Toonami is at first unaware of

That just ended yesterday, so it's probably a little early. That said, they also have Season 1 of The Big O, and like I've said before, it could be a good jumping point, since it originally aired on Toonami.

Personally, I don't see the problem with Crowds either. It's been a great show (though I have not seen the finale). The only reason to be afraid of Crowds is if Stephen Foster handles the dub and has Hilary Haag screech all the time as the lead character which, admittedly, I can see happening.

But yeah, the ending is a bit lacking, but I quite liked CROWDS. It certainly would be a deviation for Toonami, but it's probably one of the best fits in Sentai's catalogue apart from Persona 4. It would at least be a more welcome addition than Sword Art Online, IMO.

I could see them picking up something like Tears to Tiara or Kurokami from Sentai.

In terms of an Aniplex show, I wouldn't mind it if they aired Fate/Zero after Sword Art Online finishes up. I haven't seen any of it, but I've heard good things about it and I'd be willing to check it out. I'd really like to see Madoka on the block too, but I'm not sure if they'll go for it and as cool as it would be to have it on the block, the series doesn't really need the exposure. I could definitely see them going for season one of Big O so that the series could have a complete run on Toonami eventually.

I think the biggest news from this morning's Q&A so far is Cowboy Bebop's rights have finally expired.

Did you lose the rights to cowboy bebop or will it return?

Good question! We did indeed lose the rights to Cowboy Bebop, sadly. HOWEVER- we’re confident it will return, and when it does, it will be the remastered version! Stay tuned.

I guess it was to be expected this would happen eventually, but it's still a surprise. Hopefully they can work out something with Funimation and we get another long-term extension.
