I think you answered your own question there buddy. I love Golden Time too but it's not a Toonami-bound series. No action = no.

This. I know I go on and on about Girls und Panzer for Toonami or Vortexx, but that's actually got heavy action. I've learned to live with the fact that the likes of Watamote and Outbreak Company will never air on Toonami (Kill la Kill is still a definite "gotta be on Toonami", though), and much of the fandom has, too. I do hope a decent mainstream outlet for anime that isn't the usual action will come up eventually (though one might say Netflix and Hulu already fit to an extent), like an anime block on another cable channel, but until pigs fly, I really don't see that kind of show making it on Toonami.

Meh, I lost interest with Durrarrarrarrraarrraaa pretty quick. It seemed relatively popular so I'm guessing the new stuff would probably go over pretty well. But if they (Toonami) got it I would likely skip over that half-hour. Granted, that's assuming it's anything like the original. Anything's possible, I'm just playing the odds.

^Technically Cardcaptor Sakura and Cardcaptors are not the same show.

Not like it really matters though, a CCS redub seems to becoming less and less likely at this point. We'd probably end up with the godawful Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle instead.

I like the series and own it, but since I have it already, I personally wouldn't want to see it on. If that were to happen, I'd simply skip watching it.

I think Tsubasa itself may be good for The Hub Network, since from what I've seen, the only thing 'suggestible' is a little violence here and there. No language to censor.

I like Tsubasa too. Although...the Hub could NEVER air the OVAs. Those were pretty violent. Toonami would be the best bet.

Those I don't own - I'm spaciously watching the series, usually just one a week so I have something to look forward to, and am a long way from the finish. I'd likely go for them though because from having seen the first 15 episodes, I've liked what I've seen. I'll take your word for it though that the OVAs could air on Toonami as a special broadcast.

So that means at a minimum you have 15 weeks to program. I wonder what they could possibly put in the slot. I've been thinking that the first half of Attack on Titan could take over in there, but I wonder if the content is too strong for 11:30. Reruns of Dandy would be a ratings death blow, so that seems out of the question unless they bump it down later in the night.

Are there any other recent series that would be popular enough to take the slot? Maybe they do something unexpected with it, but it doesn't seem like they'd give up the slot given how they've only had it for a short time.

Not to mention Boondocks reruns occupied 11:30pm for so long. Personally, I think Bleach will do about the same regardless of how well Dandy reruns could do. It will still kinda suck to possibly have 13 weeks of reruns, even if it is Space Dandy. However, the show probably didn't come cheap and it's the very reason Toonami got that timeslot in the first place.
