Oh, yeah, forgot about that. I couldn't get out of thinking about shows, though the fact that I forgot all about the Cartoonstitute is a pretty good indicator of how well it got treated. Ironic considering how much new talent getting shows came out of it anyway.
I'm also still baffled why people seem to think Disney is hostile to TV animation. I remember counting up the announcements at the last Disney upfront and found a roughly equal number of animated shows and live-action ones if I remember right. If "pre-school shows don't count" then you might be able to try to make the case that there isn't enough animation coming from Disney TV, but even then I still think you can't make the case that Disney doesn't care about it. The fact that this show was greenlit ought to be some evidence of that. There's also the fact that animation takes longer to produce but has a much longer shelf life as shows and merchandising.
Before P&F, the only notable cartoon to come from the Disney Channels was probably Kim Possible, and even that was never as "big" as SpongeBob or The Powerpuff Girls. For a long time, they seemed much more toothless than CN and Nick, but now, Nick is the most toothless one.Oh, yeah, forgot about that. I hate to say it, but seeing how little Disney has acknowledged the show since first announcing it in early 2012, they may have reverted back to their "we only pander to tween girls" mindset. To be fair, it's a show by CRAIG MCCRACKEN, the mastermind behind one of the most popular shows of the 90s/ 2000s, let alone Cartoon Network. To turn this show down would be like rejecting 100 grand.

For our sake, I just hope Disney doesn't go WCW/ Nick on us and Bret Hart the show to death. Wasting the product of an artist with the caliber of McCracken will be the final hit that nails the coffin firmly shut for me with Disney (their TV product anyway). If it doesn't work out then hopefully Craig goes back to CN or goes indie and gets CN to pick up his shows but that's probably a stretch.I hate to say it, but seeing how little Disney has acknowledged the show since first announcing it in early 2012, they may have reverted back to their "we only pander to tween girls" mindset.
"Sneak peek" sounds like they're going to show a full episode earlier this summer, most likely after the Phineas and Ferb Marvel special. Here's hoping it doesn't get pushed aside for more live-action sitcoms/movies.She said that the show will premier in October. Nice news, & hopefully we'll get more info at Comic-Con.

Didn't it only say he created the show? For those wondering, we'll be getting another preview at Comic-Con this year.

Not sure if it gets any clearer than that unless you're asking something else. The panel will feature a sneak peek of Wander Over Yonder, the new series coming from Craig McCracken (Powerpuff Girls).
Still looks like he's only being name dropped. Not sure if it gets any clearer than that unless you're asking something else.

I'm not trying to steer this too off-topic, but I kind of expected Paul Rudish to be bought up sooner, seeing that the Mickey shorts seem to be doing well. That is my biggest fear with this series - and that's only so far.
I keep watching and watching those videos, and still I haven't even cracked a smile. Should I be worried for the show itself, or am I just soulless today? There are two promos online, and I saw one of them on Disney yesterday. The animation doesn't look as good as I expected it to be:
