Why Did You Choose Your Current Avatar Version 4.0

Switching over to the manliest man among manly-men, the Featherweight World Champion himself, Ricardo Martinez from Hajime no Ippo. This man knows no equal in all of the one thousand-plus chapters of Hajime no Ippo. In the twenty-four years this comic has been running Ricardo Martinez has stood as the ultimate pinnacle of boxing prowess, never once truly challenge--if perhaps only by Japan's Date Eiji. What a guy.

In honor of my current rewatch, I changed over to the Batman of Batman Beyond. I love Terry.

I'm currently re-watching The Pretender on DVD, so up goes an avatar of Jarod and Miss Parker.

I'm currently using a Kenshirou avatar...Kenshirou with sunglasses! Now if only he was Bearded Kenshirou with sunglasses...

John's one of my favorite superheroes, & I liked his appearance in Young Justice. I still don't know it's a problem or a relief that Hal was in that awful Green Lantern movie instead.

Last week, it occurred to me that this year is the 50th for the X-Men and Avengers. It really made me feel like using an X-Men avatar.

I've joined the Mass Effect bandwagon (as of this writing, I just completed the second game in the series), so here be Garrus because Garrus is awesome.

Hello Kitty in a Nameko costume. That mushroom guy is EVERYWHERE here, and the Kitty mashup was too funny to resist.

It's been a while since someone commented on why those choose their avatars.

For most of October, I decided to go with Rosete from Chrono Crusade (she hunts monsters in a dark period of history, seemed right for Halloween). But for the IGPX finale, I had one for Amy - one of the more popular characters from that anime.

This week, I decided to go a bit silly and used a unusual Hinata avatar. Edit: Oh yeah, the "why'. Well, this and last's weeks Naruto focused on Hinata, probably my favorite character in that series.

Edit: For reference:

And I first read the last week's subtitle "Hinata Goes Bold!" with "Hinata Goes Bald". :p

It's Pinkie Pie with a trombone! That fits me just about perfectly! Pinkie Pie is one of my favorite cartoon characters ever, probably my favorite. I can also relate to her in a lot of ways. And then her playing the trombone fits perfectly because brass and woodwind instruments are my favorite instruments, and of course, I'm proud of that. =P

So far, I've had three avatars, and I've dropped one of them like a hot potato.
My first avatar came along by April. It was just a picture of Bloo:

By August, I got tired of using that avatar, and decided to use avatars based on my favorite show of all time: Ed, Edd n Eddy.
The first EEnE-related avatar was dropped after less than an hour, because I got bored of it. Sorry, because I couldn't find any picture of it, but it was Eddy as it appeared on the GBA version of The Mis Ed-Ventures.
And then, I changed to my current avatar: Plank on a fish ride. Don't know from what episode it came from.

I like Gundam Build Fighters, Reiji and amusing animation art shifts. Plus it personally amuses me since I'm technically descended from royalty.

2 reasons:
1. I find the Squidward unsure is one of the most hilarious facial expressions ever.
2. It kind of symbolizes that I'm the only member on Toonzone who still likes Spongebob. (And proud of it!)

I change my avatar constantly. I do it to show off the things I like and because I'm great at finding and resizing images. Seriously, I have a ton of images on my computer that I'm ready to use. It's like a little hobby of mine.

For Halloween, I chose a fat kid eating candy because candy is one of the themes of Halloween. Earlier this week, I celebrated Día de los Muertos early by using a guitar-playing colorful skeleton enemy from Rayman Legends as my avatar because skeletons are popular with that holiday and I like Rayman Legends.

I usually change my avatar once a week and every month, I follow a different theme. For example, last September I had four of the six male pygmies from the comic book, Pocket God as my avatar (their names are Ooga, Booga, Dooby, and Nooby). In October, I had various zombies from Plants vs. Zombies 2 as my avatar. What theme is my avatar going to be for November? Stay tuned and find out.

EDIT: Now that it's November, I might as well say what my avatar theme is for this month. In continuation of my Pocket God theme back in September, my avatar will be four of the six female pygmies from the comic book. The first week is Kinsee, who doesn't get along well with the boys; especially tough guy Booga. In addition, my signature will also pertain to my avatar. I'll show off the remaining boy and girl pygmies in January. December is when I get into the Christmas spirit.

I've been needing a new avatar for a while and all this talk about Frosty reminded me of my favorite snowman from this antique postcard. I always get a laugh from it.

My favorite show on TV right now is probably Arrow, which just introduced Barry Allen -- as played by one of my favorites, Grant Gustin. He was absolutely adorable and I can't wait for the Flash spinoff. Thus, ridiculously adorable Barry is my newest avatar.

I finally got a Christmas avatar up. It's taken from one of those Marvel cover corner images. (I really miss that old style of layout Marvel covers used to have.) This is one Todd McFarlane did for a Christmas issue of The Amazing Spider-Man in 1989.

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
