Yeah I just say an ad for Sophia Grace and Rosie's Royal Adventure today and noticed that too. I just kept rewinding the scene to see it and was just stunned by those few frames. The costume, the art behind her I loved it, then I was enraged by it.

How long were they sitting in this? Did they plan on this being a cross promotion?

It's salt in the wound for me, not just that this might be out last glimps of new material for this franchise, but that it celebrates one of the things that got it killed, a strong female fanbase. How can they tell the show was cancelled because girls love the show but don't buy merchandise and then show us a movie where a girl clearly bought merchandise. Up is down, left is right, cats and dogs living together..........

So aside from me stumping Mr. Weisman on some Legacy questions he also did reveal and confirm

1) Crystal Frost became Killer Frost in June Team Year Negative One - so almost a year before the first episode.

2) Roy Harper is the great grandson of the original Guardian, Jim Harper.

And I forget at this point if it was revealed already, but Chris Jones did reveal the comic pitch to DC included story ideas originally meant for season 3.

Funny I actually found about that Roy Harper thing yesterday when I randomly got interested in the show again.

The comic thing has been around for a while, incompetence is high at nearly every branch of WB.

I always figured there'd be a chance of Beast Boy joining the Doom Patrol in the continuity.

Bumblebee and Mal also joined the team but there run on the team was pretty poorly written they'd probably leave the team off screen to lead private lives like in the comics.

I've been reading some of the Geoff Johns Titans stuff and does anyone think they should have used Kid Devil instead of Lagoon Boy, there relationship was built up the same way and had the same personality aside from the Aqualad stuff which the show kind of benefited from.

Come to think of it did Greg ever explain why Blue Devil never joined the league?

Maybe Weisman shouldn't have dragged his heels so much on the first season and Invasion and he'd have had all this time to show us the awesome stuff he never got to deliver.

Either that or they were a top secret covert team in the 80s or so, and Beast Boy was thus, never a member. Like how the first Black Canary was never a member of the JSA.

No, I think he only said Blue Devil is an ally of the League. We know he's 25 years old at the end of Team Year Zero and he only started crime fighting in June Team Year Zero. Icon and Rocket debuted a month before in May. I guess they reviewed all candidate's cases. Well, Icon had a protege...

Well, if it's a comfort, given the conversation - I'm not sure if he meant on the show or in the comic or both given enough time. Sure we can nitpick the two season now, but it's hard to say he was dragging his heels when we don't know how some of these characters/groups were going to be incorporated. Plus, if I remember at the time, they were under the impression they were going to get a third season.

I still think Blue Devil would have made more sense for the League than Plastic Man. Compared to Blue Devil, Plastic Man is a former criminal who, while obviously a fun guy to be around and with a diverse power set, probably wouldn't have done the League's image much good .

I guess they could've spun it as a redemption story, and that Plas' experience combined with his powers were what inched him ahead of Blue Devil when the League voted. Or maybe Captain Marvel was the deciding vote :p.

Would've been cool to see the Doom Patrol :).

Maybe they needed a vase.

What's more surprising, is he wasn't a member by Team Year Six during Invasion either. While there was a small number of "freelance" heroes, I guess it shows not everyone wants to be on the Justice League.

There's no indication that Plastic Man's identity was public or that the public would even know of his criminal past.

I guess it would depend on the events surrounding O'Brian getting his powers, how aware the public was of it and his attempts to reform, and if his identity was at all public knowledge.

The League did know about his real identity and criminal history at least.

Considering Brandon Vietti's presence, I think I agree. It's tough for me to think of an obvious application of that hint to something related to Batman.

My runner up guess would be a long-overdue announcement for Mask of the Phantasm, which is really now so old that a generation can look back on it as we now do the 1980s movies for G.I. Joe and Transformers...but it's a stretch. Also, honestly, if any DC animation deserves a full-fledged release packing more than just the cartoon itself, it is that movie.

I immediately picked up on that ''young'' hint as well. It can be nothing else... Although for a Batman panel, I wish they had organised something more specific to the character.

I would even welcome Subzero on Blu-Ray.

I have a question about Miss Martian's true form. Do you think it's wrong or right for her to change her appearance? Some people say you should always be yourself. let's say you were a fat short hairy person, would you transform into a hot person?

Do you think she should keep her new form or be her true self?

As humans, we all grow into an image inspired by something. So, her being inspired by Earth-American television, on top of her being her and not just a visitor, I think it's fine. I remember Star Trek: Deep Space Nine had Odo confronting those issues about being a "solid" or gelatinous form as his true form. He later met other changelings who did not associate themselves with humanoids so much as other creatures.

As far as on the series, it might've made an interesting conversation between her and Beast Boy, who seemingly could only change into animals.

But the point of "Image" was that her Megan form was her true self. The person she sees herself as rather than what Martian society told her she was.

Attention, fans- Young Justice may not have been cancelled, but on hiatus, according to this article, but I'll let you be the judge of that, after you read this link:

'Young Justice' Returns? Warner Bros. May Announce Animated Show Comeback At SDCC 2014 - International Digital Times

If that's the case, then it needs a new working title(how about Young Justice: Galactic Force). At the same time, I was thinking about how Cartoon Network can furtherly utilize D.C. Nation by adding other animated programs, based on comic books series. I can still see D.C. Nation expand to 90 minutes, but with 2 separate programs, namely D.C. Nation Saturday to include Teen Titans Go, maybe the next incarnation of Young Justice and possibly, an animated incarnation of Isis(just to help Cartoon Network bring in a girl audience with a female superhero); D.C. Nation Sunday to possibly include animated incarnations of the comedic Plastic Man and Shazam: Captain Marvel and the dramatic Aquaman: King of the Seas, but those are just working titles, except for Teen Titans Go and a possible next incarnation of Young Justice. Right now, it's a wait-and-see mode, but it's important to remember that Cartoon Network is undergoing a change in programming direction, especially in line with incoming new management and the need to return to programming basics, namely catering to both genders. Seriously, D.C. Nation has a lot of potential and I can see it expand to 90 minutes, especially on Saturday morning. James Tucker will likely be the producer and he'll have his hands full, but not in a bad way. All the same, let's stay on top of this.

The production staff made it rather clear that the series was not renewed for a third season, rather than placed on 'hiatus'.

I'd hold off on allowing one's hopes to rise. It is likely this is merely a Blu-ray release announcement.

This could also be about the Titans Go/Young Justice cross-over we herd about awhile ago.

You know at this point we really need to admit it is never coming home.

Happy 20th anniversary to Gummibär/Gummy Bear!

Here's to hoping he releases an anniversary album in stores on November 13th (with lots of music, videos, and extras).
Just brought a Switch 2 this past weekend. I hope Nintendo doesn't follow Sony's suit of getting rid of physical games.
Find it hard to beleive how this upcoming set has more than one normally-considered "politically incorrect" cartoon in new restoration form..
