I really...

....love the look and pace of this show. (The story telling and action; not the hiatus)

I have not started reading the comics yet, but am a little puzzled that Batman would let Artemis anywhere near this team given her background.

Maybe a test, or a way to keep an eye on her? But why even put her in a position to have access to secret identities, computer files, cave locations, etc? And Ollie seemed to be in on it with both Batman and Artemis?

As a plot point, having her around is a nice misdirection from the true mole (I vote for Red Tornado) but other than that doesn't make much sense.

Aqualad is now officially my favorite character on this show. He's more creative and smart with his water constructs than Green Lantern. Want to see more of him in action.

Glad the show is back.

Man, I really need to start reading the comic book series, don't I? That's okay, though, I could always use some more Young Justice!

I'm about 90% sure that its not usually pronounced that way and that Lex's last name being pronounced as LUTH-OR was not a DCAU thing.

I'm sure you're right, I just felt like saying "DCAU pronunciation" (which encompasses both "Lu-thor" and "Raysh") rather than just saying "Lu-thor".

The Joker knows where Mount Justice is, it's not a huge secret. Also, Artemis doesn't know Robin's identity, and I doubt Kid Flash told her his. I think she's on a short leash.

And hey, there's also the possibility that she's a double agent. Sportsmaster and the Light may think she's a mole, but the information she's given them isn't anything the League thinks will really jeopardize anyone. Artemis could be using that info to get closer to the Light and gain intel on them.

I am not the biggest fan of the show but I stick around, I am enjoying the villains, the beautiful animation and aqualad but this has to be the worst episode yet

first I will say as always the action is amazingly choreographed and animated perfectly and the aqualad-red arrow story/interaction was good

But I have to say wow this episode sucked. First their were like three puns in their that belong in brave and the bold not a show trying to act serious (more like broken arrow" really?) then every school scene was pretty lousy and if those cheerleaders are meant to be a reference to the hive, thats cool. But the most disgusting thing is the way they show women, do not get me wrong I am a man and have no issues with showin off the female body and I gave them a pass for showing off a fifteen year old with a completely developed physic (an animated fifteen year old should look like Candace on Phineas and Ferb) and in a bikini but this is a kids show on cartoon network and they have these cheerleaders in the shortest skirts I have seen and actually show cheshire's under where, what are these peoples problems to do that on a kids show.

I don't want to sound rude saying this but I think your reasons for not liking this episode, or this show sound absolutely petty at best. Kids are not dumb, this stuff appears out there in the real world. Plus girls (and those school scenes you hated) are portrayed as MUCH WORSE on the channel Phineas and Ferb is on (IMO). It just sounds like your complaints are coming from something like the Parent Televison Council.

You were not rude and I understand what you are saying but I would like to defend myself. First I did not mean to compare Disney and CN, believe me I know what you mean I just think it is weird that a fifteen year old girl is so developed and that is not coming from someone who hates adult humor in kids shows, but I have always hated fan service and lets be honest no fifteen year old has that body. Second come on, they give like a full shot of cheshire's undeas it does not take a parent council to know that is really wrong, I mean what is the point except for fan service, which is fine in a comic that is read by adults but to kids who (despite what you say) would not see that in real life at that age, ever.

now about the school scenes I did not dislike them for their portrayal I did not like them coase they bored me, that might be petty but I do not think so I was much more interested in the lex story then those two.

And lastly I never said why I dislike the show, only the episode. I do not dislike the show but it is definitely not my favorite and I am entitled to that opinion.

Another excellent episode. Definitely one of my favorites so far. Some of the action sequences in the show are astonishing. They remind me of big, budget summer blockbusters the way some of them play out. Total eye candy.

First off, I loved seeing Roy's character develop more in this episode. You can tell he's really out to prove himself and be taken seriously and be seen as someone on level with the (adults) Justice Leaguers. He's not just angry, but motivated and driven, though at times he's a bit too reckless and gets in over his head. But even he realizes this, and seeks out help finally before it's too late. You can tell it took some pride swallowing, but even he knows he needs his friends from time to time and I think it might be a source of relief for him to finally admit it now. But you can tell he's not one to just sit back and be a good little soldier and wait his turn and I like that he sticks to his guns like that. He's going to be his own man. But maybe deep down he's starting to realize that he just might not be as ready as he thought he was. It really seems to be a process and it's fun to watch it play out. Besides all of that, Roy really did kick his share of butt on the action end of things this episode and his trick arrows were really a treat.

How cool was Cheshire? I mean, really? From brandishing a pair or sai like a true ninja, to continually slaying hearts with her coquettish attitude, and just being a complete assassin BA. It's almost hard to root against her, honestly. I love her character that much. Loved her line about Roy being territorial and just the two of them going at it constantly like cat and mouse. Pretty hot to watch, I must say. I'm really anxious to find out about Cheshire and Sportsmaster's backstory and why she was none too pleased to see him break her out of the clink. Definitely some issues there.

It was great to see Kaldur not incapacitated this episode, and more involved. So that was a plus for me. And like Luke Cage said, Aqualad and some of his constructs are at times more impressive than some of Green Lantern's. Awesome, awesome stuff. Kaldur can really hold his own in battle and he really is making a fine leader thus far. Hopefully, there'll be a return trip to Atlantis somewhere down the line for him. It will be nice to learn more about him and his past and just what exactly makes this guy tick.

Ra's and Lex! Too awesome to fully describe. Two evil geniuses always a couple steps ahead of everyone else, as it should be. They played everyone and got away with it. Love it when evil wins out once and awhile.

Now for the negative...not big on the Supermartian pairing going on in this ep., but it was bearable enough. Probably the only lowlight of the entire episode, but even then not that bad. Some interesting hints came out of it that might lead you to believe that Megan is concealing her true martian heritage. So that was interesting.

For me, I give it a 5. It was so good it almost made the wait for new episodes seem bearable, which, haha, it wasn't at all. But it made me want more and that's all that really matters to me.

but I have always hated fan service and lets be honest no fifteen year old has that body.

You'd be surprised how fast some people can develop.

which is fine in a comic that is read by adults but to kids who (despite what you say) would not see that in real life at that age, ever.

Who says adults don't watch this show?;) And once again I disagree with your second post; I think you underestimate how sleazy the media can be in this day and age. Heck, I even remember seeing something similar to your complaint on an episode of Kim Possible.

Point taken and I suppose that is perhaps not the best example being a high school student it kinda was a stupid remark:sweat:

but that is my hole grievance with that image, it is sleazy, disgusting and quite honestly really frightening to think adults sat in a room pitching ideas for this episode and someone said lets show our mostly 7-10 age audience up a women's skirt, I might be alone but it is weird for me

That's taking the whole issue a bit too far, I think. Maybe it's just me being jaded from watching too much Anime but I took the Cheshire bits as trying to show a more realistic impression of fighting and flipping in a dress like that. It's a little better than the skirts always being glued to their thighs that we normally see, imo. Maybe it should've been a bit faster so it was less obvious but it wasn't really "sleazy" at least not what I'd consider to be so.

Now the Anime Battle Vixens, that was sleazy and disgusting on every conceivable level. This was more the kinda stuff you'd see in Kim Possible.

I'm pretty sure she does know his identity. She at least knows what he looks like and what he first name is.

Did anyone else notice this colouring error on Red Arrow's costume when he was interrogating Cheshire? For a little while there, his entire shirt was coloured red instead of just being a red arrow.

Are you talking about this shot?

I guess some people find it weird that it's in a cartoon aimed at kids, but to be fair Young Justice is rated PG, and it is centered around violence to begin with. What makes all the violence more acceptable than stuff like that? Plus kids would see more than that at a beach. Also, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes had Jan in a bikini showing off more than that, but I didn't notice any complaints from you then.

I am getting the feeling that I am the only one who is bothered by this and thats fine, you are right and the AVEMH thing did not bug me coase they were at the pool like in this show when they were swimming and megan in like the exact same bikini except she got the whole slow shot to show how hot she is, but again those did not bother me coase they were at a pool so it makes sense to have them in a bikini so that can definitely be alright, but to throw it in a battle scene, I mean it could be coase she is in a skirt and they were trying to get it to act like a real one but does no one else think it had a much more disgusting purpose

I understand everyone is annoyed with me for being bugged by this but it is just something that bugs me so please do not try and convince me that I am overreacting or try and use my old posts against me, it is how I feel and I am entitled to that

I don't see what the big deal about M'gann in a bikini is. Most women would kill to have a body like that at age 48... ^_^

As for the "no 15 year old has a body like that" bit, when I was in junior high, there were girls who, if they weren't exactly Maxim-level cover models like M'gann, were at least as "developed", if not in some cases more. Besides, we've seen more than enough to suggest she's modelling her appearance after a specific actress (who is probably an adult).

Who says? People develop in different ways.

I'm not sure I follow. Are you saying fan service is ok in comics because you think only adults read it? And that because some kids don't normally see cleavage and panties (which I disagree with) they should not be able to see it on a cartoon?

Yes I have already said in a previous post that I can not use the "development" argument because I am wrong, please read my previous posts before commenting and in regards to megans body, yeah that was my point that no 15 year old has that body and its only their for boys to oggle

No, kids watch shows like Family guy and the Simpsons which are way worse than a two second shot up a girls skirt and comics are laden with that stuff and thats been like that since the beginning, what I have been trying to say is that this is an action cartoon and you will always have the females in skanky outfits because I guess that stuff intrigues boys (despite it being a cartoon) but the fact that in the middle of the climax of the episode, in this huge fight they needed to show us what cheshires but looked like kinda bugs me, I am not saying that they need to cover up every women or that they need to stop showing off how kind puberty was to all these women what I am desperately trying to say without seven people jumping on me for my opinion is they did not need to put that in, their is an endless amount of scenarios they could have put in the fight without ever degrading their character to fan service, your kidding yourselves if you do not know that the only reason we saw that was so all the boys would get excited and that really bothers me in a cartoon, it does not matter if boys have scene a million things in that vein worse than that (I would bet most viewers of the show have) but thats not the point, the point is the reason that they through that in their was for nothing else but to arose the audience of a cartoon with a random shot of a half naked villainess, it really surprises me that no one else is bothered by this

I am not asking anyone to agree but to at least respect my opinion I was bothered by the show and even if you were not that does not make me wrong

I am not sure if you are mocking me for my opinion or just trying to make an amusing joke but I laughed so I hope it was not mocking

That panty shot was shown, for what two seconds? Who could really get aroused by that? And second, Cheshire wasn't degraded at all in this episode. Cheshire was awesome throughout this entire episode, she was able to go toe-to-toe against Red Arrow, despite him having his long-range weapon as an advantage, she was firing rocket launchers, hoping on people, taking down trained security teams etc.

Since you seem so bothered by this, I have to ask, were you also bothered by the fact that Superboy was shirtless when he was fighting Aqualad back in "Denial"? Or is it just bad when females expose their skin?

Honestly, don't you think you're blowing this a bit out of proportion? It was a split second shot at best and you're treating it as if they made a porno. That just seems a bit ridiculous. To condemn the whole episode because of something as infinitesimal as that seems awfully petty. There was so much more going on in this episode than that.

I do not know what to say, I guess you are right and the fact that superboy shirtless not bugging me means I am a little biased and maybe I am overreacting and the fact that everyone is so quick to jump on my accusation seems to point that out but I want to say that even if I am completely wrong and overreacting (my opinion actually reminds me of that Family Guy ep where Peter makes his own show without any form of regulation so maybe i am being a little harsh) but it is just an opinion and its not like it ruined the show for me or anything I actually loved the last one so I am going to say one more thing on the subject and then I will stop and I hope so will everyone who is pissed at me for it :

It bothered me, it bothered me coase I felt as if it had a very wrong motive, I could be wrong but how easy would it have been to not include it, so now I ask you why was it their?

I don't work on the staff so I don't know why it was there. Maybe to add realism, or maybe a storyboarder was bored, or maybe it was really there to arouse the audience. Whatever the reason, I'm not bothered by it, because it was on-screen for 2 seconds or less and more importantly, and compared to other TV shows I watch, that's extremely tame.
