Why Did You Choose Your Current Avatar Version 4.0

I chose mine because I just recently got mega man 2, which is my first one too. I also chose it because the first robot master I picked was crash man and that he's also my favorite one so far.

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar is Skølldir. Originally known as Skølldir the Terrible Space Viking, his constant feasts led to him being nicknamed as Skølldir the Terribly Overweight Space Viking. Despite his weight, he is still a force to be reckoned with.

Skølldir main weapon is his fists and his 3-hit combo is devastating. He also uses those big arms of his to caber toss opponents, sending them flying behind him. His bulk allows him to shake the earth when he smashes the ground with his buns of steel. Another thing he can do with his rear is create farts so powerful, they propel him through the air as a double jump. Overall, Skølldir is a close range powerhouse who is surprisingly nimble for his size. He's like a fat ballerina who takes names and punches throats.

Here's how he plays:

As an expression of Pinoy Pride, I've swapped my avatars at the websites I visit most frequently for leisure with a Guardians of the Galaxy publicity still, depicting half-Filipino performer Batista portraying Drax the Destroyer. However, I didn't think it sounded appropriate to have a live-action avatar at a website called, Toon Zone, especially since I don't visit the forums that do relate directly to live-action. So, I made a Drax avatar out of this piece of Guardians fanart:

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar is Raelynn, a stone cold sniper who only has love for her pulserifle, Cuddles.

Raelynn is primarily a long range fighter. Cuddles is normally folded into a pistol, but can extend into a far shooting sniper rifle at Raelynn's command. Her snipe does a lot of damage, but its laser sight and charge up time lets enemies know to get out of the way. Raelynn can also deploy a timerift, which slows down and damages anything in it. The timerift is great for escaping enemies and making sure they don't escape her snipes.

Here she is in action:

Well, my avatar is homemade with a portable version of Photoshop CS6 (Portable means no install, because I always found post CS2 programs hard to install, otherwise it works like the original). The checkers symbolize Cartoon Network, and the smiley symbolizes happiness and laughter.

To celebrate Halloween, I'm bringing out the most appropriate villain (other than Jack O'Latern) Roderick Kingsley, aka Hobgoblin.

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar Vinnie & Spike, a plankton and pufferfish who are partners in crime and BFFs. Vinnie is the talkative brains while Spike is the silent brawn.

Fitting their criminal background, Vinnie & Spike are all about hit and runs. They have a powerful dive attack that shoots spikes everywhere. When the going gets tough, they can drop a smoke bomb and get out of there while their enemies are blinded. Being a pufferfish, Spike can inflate himself and float around, giving him excellent maneuverability. Spike also shoots bubbles as his default attack, but trust me, you're going to be using the spike dive a lot more.

Here's how they play, see?:

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar is Genji the Pollen Prophet. Genji is a caterpillar monk who worships the Grand Space Butterfly. No one knows for sure whether his powers come from technology or from his diety.

Genji is a pretty versatile support character. He can shoot short range boomerang blasts from his staff, hitting his enemies twice in one shot. By praying to the Space Butterfly, he can wrap himself and his allies in a protective blessing that reduces damage. The Space Butterfly has also granted Genji tiny spectral wings to extend his jumps a bit. He can also naturally spit out silk that cocoons his enemies; stopping their attacks, but protecting them from attack as well. The cocoon shot is useful preventing powerful attacks and escaping.

I'm using Sarada from Naruto Chapter #700. She's such a mean little booger. I can't wait to see her in future storylines!

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar is Ayla, the psychic psycho little alien girl. After her violent tendencies put her in maximum security psychiatric ward, she broke free and hitchhiked her way to the Awesomenauts. Her tantrums are so destructive, the rest of the 'nauts prefer to keep her on the field and away from their precious belongings.

Ayla is a flat out berserker. Her hands are normally handcuffed, so she swings the cuffs' chains as her primary attack. She can shoot a psychic blast from her third eye, which slows down opponents and does more damage the less health she has. Her greatest ability is her rage, where she frees her hands and engulfs herself in an orb of psychic destruction. This allows her to fly and rapidly damage/life drain any enemy within her radius, but damages herself when there's no one to hurt. In short, Ayla is a powerhouse who shows enemies how it feels to be beaten by a little girl.

Grum from The Pillgrums, a parody of low-quality direct to DVD cartoons from Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar is Admiral Swiggins, a squid admiral who swings around an anchor as a weapon. Being a squid, he wears a water tank to survive on dry land, which makes him blow bubbles when he speaks.

Swiggins is primarily a melee fighter, with his anchor, Humbolt, doing strong damage with each swing. That doesn't mean he doesn't have any ranged attacks. He can fire his anchor like a grappling hook to reel himself in to enemy Awesomenauts or other solid objects, which can useful if the sluggish Swiggins needs to leg it. He can also fire his anchor without the tether and any enemy 'naut that gets hit by it becomes tethered to it, preventing them from escaping until the anchor is destroyed. Luckily, the anchor will eventually respawn back in Swiggins tentacles. Until it does, Admiral Swiggins can fire ink projectiles and moves faster since he doesn't have all that weight slowing him down. While he can't fly, Swiggins can use his ink to hover at the end of his jumps. Overall, the admiral is a tricky melee fighter who can go from slow to fast the drop of an anchor.

Here's how he plays, along with his alternate skins, Admiral Swiggins PHD (a reference to Dr. Fetus from Super Meat Boy) and Abyssal Swiggins (which is a reference to H. P. Lovecraft):

I know Thanksgiving is just days away, but Christmas season is upon us, so it's time to change. At the same time, I've had Indiana Jones up almost all year (to mark the 30th anniversary of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) and am used to seeing him. So I decided on a compromise . . .

Indiana Santa. :D

I chose my current one because it was one of my favourite photo edits of my idol Martina Stoessel (Violetta)

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar is Ted McPain, a video game space marine who was turned into a flesh and blood being by fellow Awesomenaut, Voltar the Omniscient. For some reason, Voltar forgot to give him pants and doesn't care enough to fix that. Doesn't matter, though. Ted doesn't need pants to fight, just big guns.

Ted carries both a machine gun and a shotgun that he can switch between at any time. The machine gun has good range and the shotgun, like most video game shotguns, has a short, but devastating range. The shotgun can only hold four shots before it needs reloading, but the machine gun is bottomless. When using the shotgun, Ted can use his stimpack ability to do rapid fire shotgun blasts. With the machine gun, he can fire a flare that call down a powerful laser airstrike. The airstrike takes a second to hit and is easily telegraphed, so try to trick opponents into getting hit by it. Overall, Ted McPain is tricky to play as, but when you get the hang of him, he will tear up anyone who gets in his kill zone.

Current Avatar: Noivern, one of my favorite Pokemon from Gen 6.

This week, my Awesomenauts avatar is Penny Fox, the other space fox. When her space scooter got stuck on the abandoned spacestation Starstorm, she found a mysterious claw gauntlet which gave her great power. Unbeknownst to Penny, she had just taken the first step toward the biggest adventure of her life!

Penny is speedy and super agile. You think double jumps are cool? She can do a triple jump and, with the right upgrade, quadruple jump! Combined with her speed, this makes a moving Penny hard to hit. She also has a unique attack system that revolves around combos. She fills her combo meter by attacking with her claw gauntlet, which powers her Fox Pounce and Energy Pulse. Overall, Penny is a swift glass cannon whose power and agility make up for her low health.

Here's how she plays:

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
