In regards to Bebop, according to the on-air schedule, The last weekend in November, they're playing #s 24 + 25. The following week they actually list 25 + 26, meaning TRFB Part 1 will get played in back-to-back weeks. I like that they're doing that, even if the airing order was messed up, cause now fans can see the final 2 b2b, meaning the following week, series starts over (so soon), and this time, the full 13 weeks of doubles can play uninterrupted, unless for some odd reason, they have plans to replace it, but I don't see that happening, especially when 11-19 weren't played in this recent comeback.

But I do wonder if they have something special planned. After all, there IS a certain OVA series that only has 8 episodes dubbed and is prime material for Toonami. It's not likely, but I can hope...
According to Toonami's Tumblr, it looks like we'll be getting something while Bleach is on hiatus. I see no other reason why they would make a promo for it.

Assuming that a new show is airing during those 8 weeks and not Bleach simply going into reruns, the problem with it being
Hellsing Ultimate
is that
each episode is twice the length of a normal episode. I don't think I've ever heard of episodes being cut in like that to fit a half-hour block before, unless I'm not aware of such a series.

never picked up home video rights to it, only streaming rights. Of course, it would be a big surprise if FUNi really had the home video rights to it all along...
While I know that they'll probably just replay 8 episodes of Bleach that have played recently, you know what I'd prefer them to do?
Replay the Turn Back the Pendulum arc (episodes 206-212).
It's very relevant to what's going on in the show right now, it lasts 7 episodes, and it hasn't aired in a year and a half. Play those, repeat the episode airing the week before the hiatus, and you've got 8 weeks of episodes that will keep the interest of newer viewers.
Actually, by the way they worded it, I'm pretty sure they have something else in mind than just repeating Bleach for 8 weeks.
Here's what I think they might do: Put a new, heavy hitter show like Inuyasha TFA or the like starting 12/1 at midnight, then put bleach back in sometime in February and move said new show to 12:30, pushing Tenchi to 1:00 into Samurai 7's old slot (the show will conveniently be over by then).
So like This:
Starting 12/1
12 - New Show
12.5 - Tenchi or Samurai 7
1 - Samurai 7 or Tenchi
Starting late Feb
12 - Bleach
12.5 New show
1- Tenchi
That would also give them room to switch Tenchi's and Samurai 7's slots within the next few weeks if Tenchi's ratings continue to not pan out.

Now that'd be cool for Christmas weekend or New Years weekend. Adult Swim hasn't aired the third Bleach movie (not to mention Viz should hopefully have the fourth movie soon), and there's probably some other movies they can get from Funimation. Summer Wars would be a great choice, for example.

Toonami is jumping forward with Cowboy Bebop and is apparently ending with episodes 25 & 26 on the December 1st weekend, with it going into re-runs or something replacing it the weekend after. According to the On Air Schedule, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood will be losing one of its episodes, everything after Bleach getting pushed down by one half-hour block with some rearrangements as a result, and the 12:30 am slot after Bleach is now mysteriously blank with something to fill it in...
So, what's going to fill that missing blank now?
If we take DeMarco's statement literally, then new episodes of Bleach won't resume until January 19th. He says that there will be a promo coming in two weeks explaining everything. The Toonami group wouldn't blow their tiny budget on a promo unless it was advertising something new that was coming.
Toonami will air the 26th and final episode of Samurai 7 around February 9th, with something hopefully new taking its spot the week after. Which means no other show will be ending its run in the meantime. If we really are getting a new show, it will either have to be a series that is 8 episodes (something new to air alongside Bleach's re-reuns) or more likely, 11 (something new to air alongside Bleach's re-reuns and coincide with Samurai 7 ending its run on Toonami).
That would only leave a very small handful of series that fit that criteria. ...
Cue conspiracy theory on

A movie marathon could be a nice way of shaking up the lineup during December and it could be kind of fun to see what kind of movies they would air, besides Bleach movies.
That's a surprise. I wasn't expecting a new show until Samurai 7 finished its run on the block. I'm curious as to what new show they were able to get this time. I am glad that GXP isn't right after Bleach since that was a poor choice in my opinion. I'm kind of disappointed that Samurai 7 is moved to 2AM since it is, so far, my favorite new series that they've put on the block, but hopefully it will do well in its new timeslot. Hopefully, whatever new show is on the block is better than GXP, or at the very least doesn't leave as much of a bad first impression as that show did for me.
Here's hoping the new show can grab in the Bleach audience. I'm getting the vibe that pushing Samurai 7 and Eureka Seven down those slots will not be a wise move at the end of the day though..
I would have personally put Samurai 7 on at 1am, Eureka 7 at 2am and GXP holding down the late 3am slot.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
