Strange how the first paragraph states that the 'producers have yet to comment [on whether there will be a third season]' when one of the questions makes reference to the events of "The Fix". The cancellation news came about on Monday so are we to assume that CBR interviewed Greg and Brandon at the weekend? If they interviewed them more recently, why didn't they just ask them for a comment on the cancellation?

But we also have some Juniors in there -- Batgirl, Bumblebee and Mal, who's now Guardian. These are characters who though they weren't part of the team in Season one in theory joined closer to the beginning of five-year gap as opposed to the end of the five-year gap.

Batgirl and Bumblebee had both joined the Team by the mid-point in Team Year Three then. And still no Watchtower access for them? After all, they're Juniors, and Nightwing said only Seniors are allowed on the Watchtower.

Quite a gap between Bumblebee joining and Lagoon Boy joining, apparently. La'gaan only joined shortly before Artemis and Wally left, and those two left in Team Year Five.

On an unrelated note, if Rocket's fiance is a former, as yet not introduced member of the Team, then I can see the marriage happening in episode 19, which is rumoured to be called "Summit". A summit involves a gathering, and it's not at all far-fetched to assume that the title will have multiple meanings. Plus, I can see Greg wanting to write the wedding in order to introduce one or two former Team members... Hopefully I'm right about this.

On another note, I'm about to post a template for the letter I'll be sending to Sam Register requesting for a mini-series revival. You'll be able to find it in the 'Want to save Young Justice?' thread. I'd urge fans of the show to use the template for their own letter to Sam Register.

I dunno... I'd hate the penultimate episode to be bogged down with wedding scenes. The thought honestly makes me queezy.

It could take the form of just two or three short scenes, and in what's likely to be an action-packed episode, I don't see the harm in having a fun cast gathering which just involves the characters talking to each other.

If by "plot is driven by original 6 leads" they mean "plot is driven by Blue Beetle, Miss Martian and sometimes Impulse" then I agree.

Man, really? I think any broad analysis of this season has to acknowledge that the Nightwing / Kal'dur conspiracy is at easily as much a part of the plot as the matter of Blue Beetle, Impulse and The Reach. There are already major consequences resulting from that, and undoubtedly more still to come. Artemis is connected to that, Superboy is tied to M'gann's (mis)use of her powers.

Wally is on the sidelines so far. But if the team has to go in hard to get Artemis and company away from Black Manta or some full-blown crisis comes to Earth, I bet we can expect him to step up.

The question is whether that money can be attributed to Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Even then, the money has to pass through the merchandising partner(s), then WBA, then DC Comics and possibly CN. Of course, neither title has any merchandising beyond DVDs at this point, so such is rather moot.

It's NOT rather moot. There is absolutely a sales spike and to claim its some random abnormality is like trying to claim a nuke in Hiroshima didn't kill millions.

The breakdown comes when these numbers aren't be factored in and not even looked at seriously and are further compounded when companies like CN act like this isn't a solid revenue source.

Not everybody has Netflix. They need more subscribers. That's one reason they're getting into original content. That model has worked well for HBO and other premium channels. They're able to broadcast shows that would be a risk on network or cable.

Netflix uses a player that runs on The Microsoft Silverlight Platform. After using it for just a few days my system slowed down to a crawl. Until they get a better model. I won't be using Netflix anytime soon.

Hey. I'd just like to point at the B&B got a pretty late renewal for season 3 and we have had no official word from the producers - unlike Green Lantern. I'm not holding out much hope for a third season but I have faint hope. If we do get a third season, it will certainly change the way we think about renewals and cancellations.

What? Where's this proof of a supposed spike that is as true the Hiroshima nuking?

Looking at the clips again, the girl's ability was a surprise. Sort of a human pinball. Wondering if she might be an amalgam character partly inspired by a Milestone character, Valerie Kameya.

Pretty much confirmation the teleporter is Eduardo Dorado Sr.'s son, Jr. and Sr. was working on Zeta Beam tech for 20 years? Dig the symmetry there. Also good to see there's at least one who doesn't want to have an ability.

I noticed that she has a green right eye and a brown(?) left eye, maybe that will help identify her. I think she is voiced by the woman who voices Terra in Teen Titans and Gwen in Ben 10: Alien Force+ based on that one sound she made in the clip.

Yeah, my search of characters with heterochromia has come up short. Can anyone think of someone with different colored eyes?

In terms of the animation for YJ, I'm actually really satisfied with how they've animated the characters, and I think the quality has improved overall from season 1 to season 2. This series' interpretation of Batman, Robins, Nightwing, Superman, etc... appears to be the best yet. For example, I liked the stories from Batman TAS, but didn't like how he was drawn, and preferred the changes seen in the New Adventures. JL was probably the best interpretation of his looks prior to this series. Didn't like the style of The Batman or even Brave and the Bold. This as a whole probably added more to the cost of the series to produce, for all of the characters had an immense amount of detail. Past incrimination for DC products always appeared to be a more simplified look.

But a full-blown crises has already came to Earth, hasn't it? The heroes (at least Nightwing and Captain Atom) know that the Reach enslave humanity in the future courtesy of Jaime and Bart, right? Plus, I'm not sure how Wally can claim "an emergency and being needed" as his reasoning for helping out in "Bloodlines" and not consider the current situation to meet that criteria.

Though I wonder how much of Wally being sidelined so far is simply because the show wanted to keep his hands as clean as possible from this whole deception with the undercover mission outside of knowing about it.

That might have played a big part in it, but it still doesn't explain why he's still sitting things out now. If he was spooked about something happening to Artemis, then that's entirely moot as she's been heavily involved since "Depths". If he was spooked for himself, then he wouldn't have suited up willingly in "Bloodlines" without being asked too (and he showed no signs of being worried).

It's certainly a plausible explanation from a writing perspective. From an in-show perspective I'm not quite willing to give up the idea that Wally wants to go but Dick is telling him to stay out of it. Unfortunately the only hint we have about what Wally is doing is an AskGreg where he says Wally is still attending classes to keep up a routine. Unless Cheshire and Sportsmaster kidnap Wally to make him come along for their vengeance mission, I fear we won't see Wally again until the big "spitfire" reunion moment(which I admit I'm really looking forward to, but it's still a bit unfair to Wally).

So far all we have is this AskGreg about it, plus what Artemis said in "The Fix". I'm afraid that unless it comes up in that spitfire reunion moment or in Legacy the only way we'll find out is if Greg further comments on it.

It's certainly a plausible explanation from a writing perspective. From an in-show perspective I'm not quite willing to give up the idea that Wally wants to go but Dick is telling him to stay out of it.

I'm not sure I can buy Dick telling him to stay out of it since he got them involved to begin with. Though I could certainly see Artemis asking Wally to stay out of it for a multiple of reasons, and he'd be far more likely to listen to her than Dick considering the situation.
