Just Watched Sonic Boom.
Sonic GOT A NEW VOICE, Which Is Pretty Good.
Dr Eggman Sounded Like Dr Eggman From Sonic X
And Sally Sounded Like Susie From Rugrats.

Sonic has had that voice since (I believe) Sonic Colors, and Dr. Eggman sounds that way because it's the exact same actor; Mike Pollock, and if you were talking about Amy, that's not Cree Summer voicing her.

That's Roger Craig Smith voicing Sonic, and he's had that voice in the games for a little while now.

It's the same voice actor, Mike Pollock.

And Sally Sounded Like Susie From Rugrats.

Sally? She's not even in this series. It's only Amy and Sticks, who are voiced by Cindy Robinson (Amy) and Nika Futterman (Sticks) respectively. Neither character is voiced by Cree Summer.

Who is Sally? You mean Amy? I don't know how you got Amy Rose (a pink hedgehog who wears alot of clothes) mixed up with Sally Acorn (a brown brown squirrel who until recently wore almost no clothes).

I don't see this surviving much longer. The game is a disaster and the show is simply an advertisement for said disaster Sega already wants to forget.

I read on TV Tropes that there is some concern the show is going to turn Amy into a clone of Sally Acorn. that won't go over well with either characters' fans if it's true.

That sounds more like rumors than anything else, so I wouldn't worry about that.

She really isn't. Based on the episodes I've seen, she isn't what I'd call level headed. Even when she tries to settle arguments and conflict, it doesn't sound sincere. Not to mention she was desperate to be Sonic's new sidekick because of her crush on him, Nothing about Amy in Sonic Boom says that she's more level headed and independent, so I don't know what other people saw in her behavior to give that impression.

People are desperate to try and tie everything they love into what's currently being shown. And Rainbow Dash Fan is honestly one of those people you need to have it beat into their head several dozen tiems before it sticks. Because yeah, Amy is NOT becoming a Princess Sally clone. They are sidelining her crush and making it less obvious in the series and having her interact more with the others but that's not the same thing as turning her into Sally. That's just altering the character's personality. Kind of a large one but again not one that makes her like Sally. And I'm not goingto get into a lengthy argument about it here so Rainbow Dash Fan drop it okay? It's a pointless rumor that people are pointlessly spreading. Let it go.

More on topic, whether or not you actually like Sonic Boom and regardless of whether or not you think it's enjoyable, that doesn't change the fact that Cartoon Network is treated it horribly for no discernable reason. Remember this is the network who hyped Johnny Test for years on end because of it's popularity and is currently heavily promoting Teen Titans Go which again seems severely disliked in many places. Trust me if there was an audience regardless of what you thought, they'd run the show. But CN isn't even giving the show a chance at all and is barely giving it any air time. Which seems especially weird since again watching the series it actually does fit in more with CN's general run of shows on weekdays then the saturday morning early slot. The only reason I can think of is maybe CN is getting less money then they thought airing the series and thus isn't promoting it. I can't think of anything else. Even if again the game the show was based on isn't getting high traction or solid reviews, if it's still being bought and played by kids and doing well in sales CN wouldn't care. Honestly there has to be a reason for this. Not a conspiracy theory reason behind it but an actual one since remember this has been talked about and reported on coming to CN for well over a year. Why not promote it now that it's out?

This is a bit off topic, but is it just me? Or has the schedules for Cartoon Network and Boomerang been pretty.......bad since June, well CN was okay until September when they randomly reduced Regular Show (or in this case until October, took it off the air) and Adventure Time and gave Gumball and TTGo! craptons of airings. The whole Sonic Boom thing obviously has something to do with the new scheduling department being pretty bad, just a theory.

There is also how they randomly decided to burn off The Tom and Jerry Show and Ben 10: Omniverse on weekdays, which was pretty strange since both shows did well before they went into hiatus.

I was a fan of the 96 series growing up but again this is another show that fits into CN current model. But on another topic the little to no advertisement CN gave this show is really messed up at least give it a chance it already fits demographic you are aiming for and blends with the shows already airing but I guess they didn't trust the show
