Nickelodeon Schedule Discussion, Part 2

Well, todays promo more or less confirmed Breadwinners is premiering after a SBSP special, as both are being promoted for a February release. Good move by Nick. Though, hopefully its a weekend premiere as opposed to the Monday premieres Nick has done lately.
I'm going to guess Presidents Day.

I wonder why Nick always waits to officially announce the premiere of a special or show. I feel a hard date is always better than a "coming soon".

Looks THH and TTM will occupy the 8 p.m. hour in January following EWW. Really wish Nick would just expand each weeknight into the hour. Gives Nick some extra time to give live action more slots they could actually do well in.

---

EDIT: Nick may be rotating that 7 a.m. slot. The week after SaC, Nick is has THH occupying that spot.

Nick has updated the schedule. Next Saturday iCarly and Victorious reruns are surprisingly returning despite that both ended sitcoms.

Starting Monday 7AM instead of Haunted Hathaways week, it will be The Thundermans morning week

Also starting Monday 6AM hour will be Hangin with Mr. Cooper replacing See Dad Run repeats as nickandmore tweeted. Really not happy that nick at nite had made last minute change of adding sitcoms join lineup in few days notice. They should've planned it at least one month notice. They did same thing with adding Brady Bunch (since mid May 2012 lasted last wk of Jun 2012 received little promo only in midnight hours), All That/Kenan and Kel (started late Jun 2012 and ended mid Jul 2012 in primetime [to help Hollywood Heights rating to increase but no success] received no promotion), Old Adventures of Christine (recently added since Oct 2013 and currently running with decent ratings). My point is Nick at Nite really needs to plan ahead at least one month to acquire any sitcoms. Maybe suggest NIck at Nite to have refresh new brand sometime spring 2014 with new bumpers which they rarely do those.

I wonder if Nick is going to air a new episode of the show the following Saturday, or just air en encore. Hmm, but yes. February 17 could be a very great night for the network. The week could even be bigger if they added premieres for the Nicktoons and live action.

Yes, Monday is the sneak peak and Saturday the official premiere. Nick is obviously striking fast. Since BW will get two premieres in a week. I would think that's when SJC returns to the lineup with a premiere before BW. I wonder how often BW is gonna premiere without a SJC premiere. Nick doesn't not hve many left.

I'm excited to see what the show can bring to the network and for the Nicktoons to get back into gear. Talk about a stacked lineup...

The animation of Breadwinners kinda reminds me of Kablam! So stoked about this.

Hopefully the SBSP special gets up to 4M+ that day so it can boost BW. I have a slight feeling this, along with Bad Seeds and Pig Goat Banana Cricket will become moderate hits and bring life to Nick like it was 90's.

Come to think of it, it does look a lot like Kablam!

After SBSP hit 5.2M on a Monday holiday in November, I think 4.0M is doable. Plus, the SBSP special and the BW premiere has been promoted since December and once the SaC special is done next Saturday, I'd expect everything will shift over to animation with the emphasis being SBSP/BW on 17th. This gives almost a month worth of promotion. If Nick plays it's card right, I could see BW out performing SJC's premiere numbers. And with SJC, TMNT, and RI all having premieres in February as well, (KFP, PoM, MvA to a lesser extent), this could really be a defining month for the animation.

SJC was the turning point for Nick. They were obviously headed in the CGI and Dreamworks route, realized it was one-dimensional when the ratings plummeted, and the SJC success righted the ship. SJC, BW, and I'd assume BS and PGBC are all throwbacks to 90s Nick. People can say it's ripping off CN's RS and AT, but really it's Nick just going back to it's roots. Nick will clearly be THE No. 1 network again in animation for the foreseeable future. I'd say Nick has really distanced themselves from CN and DC in that department. My heart has softened to BW the more promos I've seen. I think it can definitely be a hit like SJC.

Agreed with you 100%, man! Even Nick's current line of live action (SaC, THH, TTM) have more of a fun and creative premise than the likes of iCarly, Victorious, Bucket & Skinner or anything similar to those.

BTW, since Nick is rotating the weekday 7am slot with different shows, is there a chance we could see TMNT pop up there anytime soon, even if it's just for one week?

No one understands why TMNT doesn't get weekday slots. It's rerun numbers are comparable to SJC/RI/FOP IMO. Perhaps Nick will air Total Turtle Takeover Friday nights again when EWW is over and TMNT premieres begin again.

EWW will be over Jan 29. TMNT returns Feb 2. I HOPE Nick decides to schedule Total Turtle Takeover on Jan 31st, scheduling some repeats on Feb 1 would be a smart idea too.

Oops, sorry lol!

According to Zap2It, on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 11:30 a.m., KFP repeats after TMNT. Safe to say TMNT/KFP will premiere together beginning Sunday, Feb. 2? If so, wise move by Nick. Promo those shows together, and it could be a pretty solid hour as long as SBSP is the lead versus SJC. Can't wait to see the February premiere schedule...

Also zap2it has updated the rest of the week and as worse as it gets, this saturday was supposed to be icarly and victorious because i think that was the way to promote new one hour sam and cat so that old characters would be returning. i thought it would be good idea but NO, 2 episodes FOP, 1 Rabbid Invasion, 1 SJC UGH!!! :(. I was looking forward to watch those but nick made last minute change. Also Sunday night movies has been replaced by Full House repeats. Wonder why?? AwesomenessTV still remains sat 9:30pm for repeats..... :(, Is nick going to renew AwesomenessTV for another season?

WB has done so well with releasing the Paramount Popeye cartoons on home media that they should be chosen to distribute the long-delayed animated Popeye film that at various points was to be made by Sony and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who has a long association with WB sister property Cartoon Network).
Today is my Birthday!
Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
