Sinclair To Launch 'KidsClick' Multiplatform Programming Block For Children

In the near future, Saturday and Sunday will have different programming.

I like how the block is improving. In the past, blocks like Toonzai and Vortexx have fizzled pretty quickly as time goes on, but KidsClick seems to be trying to get better and trying new things.

It would've been easy to have a boring schedule and air the same shows every day of the week, but having a different schedule on Saturday and Sunday adds more variety to the block and makes it more interesting.

Having premiere episodes of Miraculous on Thursdays and Fridays is a creative way to premiere new weekday shows and it makes the schedule more exciting as the week goes on. Hopefully they promote the new episodes and tell people when they're on. Otherwise its kind of a missed opportunity.

In the future, it would be interesting to have completely different schedules over the weekdays. Like a different schedule on Thursday and Friday than on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Here are the shows aired in different pitches:

Low Pitch:
  • Super 4 (Season 2)
  • Zak Storm
  • Winx Club
  • The Legendaries
  • Oggy and the Cockroaches
High Pitch:
  • Team Hot Wheels (Build the Epic Race)

Putting this here while it's still around:

Woah glad they are coming to Roku soon and the other things. Online streaming live is wise it goes to their audience directly and has less pressures than a 24 hour channel channel, and gives them room to experiment a little more.

That's great that they're expanding the live feed. I just hope they'll have more shows (at least the ones they still have the rights to) ready for it.

(Also, I'm surprised that they're answering that guy's questions as nice as they did. I would've came close to going off on him if I were in this position. [Just not working for them though.])

Super 4 will be airing instead of Oddbods starting with next week's schedule change.

I wonder why the quick removal?
License issues, or target demographic isn't fitting?

The new schedule just started today, and it looks like they're pillarboxing shows in 4:3.
Last time they had a show in 4:3, the airing on KidsClick was stretched.

Energon won't be the only Transformers series on KidsClick this fall.

When someone on FB asked why Energon gets two slots on weekends, KidsClick said "You will see in the coming weeks". I guess now we know what they mean.

I'm curious now. Airing one of the other "Unicron Trilogy" shows would make sense, and Prime would be a fan-favorite.

But if I'm allowed to dream, the early 2000s Robots in Disguise would be very cool, since it's not even available on DVD or on any official streaming services.

Does Disney still own RiD or not?

If Hasbro had the rights to Car Robots/Robots in Disguise, Shout Factory would've released it on DVD by now. I assume it's still owned by Disney and they'll never do anything with it.

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
