This channel is the former of the boomerang USA channel . They stopped uploading videos in 2019 . Until the UK team buyed the bonded channel and started uploading these full episodes in the PAL EU version
That was back in August 2024 and initially lasted until January 2025.

What Zzman meant in the message is the dormancy which lasted from January to November (?) 2025.

On Warner TV Romania they use some old copies, with monaural sound (even on the English Dolby Digital track) and vertical interval timecodes... While for Courage, we get the Polish Chojrak prints.

The episodes posted on Cartoon Cartoons YouTube channel look like they have been remastered. Perhaps we'll get the remastered versions too? Wonder if they kept the old dubs, they did at least for Samurai Jack.
And worse, even Dexter is censored. They cut DEE DEE DUMB.

When did they drop the CN classics block on CN Africa and what shows did it air?

you know everybodys talking about CN CEE potentially having old shows but i think uk and Italy also deserve to have classic shown on CN too they are the two big Western Europe countries and I'm sure many people that live there would love to see that
When did they drop the CN classics block on CN Africa and what shows did it air?
this month and the shows were mostly the same as WE with some shows that never aired in WE like ed ed and eddy

While it sounds promising the block will come also to the CEE feed, the better question is: for how long they'll keep it?

Because if they keep it for only one month or so and then it disappears, then that's not cool.
At this point that's HBO Max good for
We can't trust the feed.We will stay more to see when will be gone than enjoying it XD

Can anyone list all the classic shows that aired on CN Africa classics block and are there any feeds that currently rerun classics?

I'm going to try to answer the most important questions that have come up.

First of all, someone described this as a rumor. It is not a rumor at all. To be honest, that's disappointing both for me and for my fellow editors.

Secondly, thank you for the kind words about Mentrum having grown into a reliable source of information.

And now to the main point we're all here for. xD The CN Classics block is not coming to television for the time being. I already stated this in the original post, and someone even shared a translation of it, so I honestly don't understand why several people here believe the block is arriving. The image used in the post was merely an illustration, not a screenshot from a final promo or anything similar.

The various titles are coming to HBO Max, and in countries where Warner TV is available, viewers there will also get these titles on television. Unfortunately, the available dubbing tracks are preventing these shows from being scheduled on CN. Everyone knows which languages are involved: Czech and Bulgarian. However, the main issue is the Czech market. Because the missing audio tracks cannot simply be replaced with English, these shows cannot currently be aired on the linear channels, so this remains the solution for now. Of course, this does not rule out the possibility that some of these shows may eventually make it to television in the future.

Hopefully, I've addressed all the important topics.

Really happy about the classics coming to HBO Max where I live, but I really hope the TV channel will eventually air them as well, I don't care if it will be in the graveyard hours I will still watch them.

As for the shows currently confirmed to be coming to HBO Max, I am mostly happy about Billy and Mandy, as it has several episodes, including the entire sixth season, that aren't available anywhere on the internet in hungarian. Fans had a hard time recording this show due to the awful way CN CEE treated it once the city era started. Cow and Chicken and Flapjack are both fully available on the internet in hungarian already, but I am happy for them nonetheless.

So Bulgaria is not gonna get the classic on HBO Max because here we don't have Warner TV? Also for the lack of dubs I think they are using this for excuse because if they rlly wanted the block to be on the channel they can just buy dubs for Bulgaria and Czech.

@BloggerHU Are you certain that Flapjack and Billy and Mandy will also come to HBO Max in Western Europe (including Denmark, Sweden and Norway)? Any other shows?

Any classics that have Bulgarian dubs, including ones that have aired on Cartoon Network as well as unreleased but fully produced ones commissioned specifically for Cartoon Network, will be on HBO Max. Trust me.

It will be coming to HBO Max everywhere, but in regions where Warner TV is available, it will also be shown there.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the Western European lineup.

Plus, it seems Warner TV CZ has become quite like "Discovery FTA".

Regardless, Czechia is the problem when it comes to dubbing, being a recent territory for CN: hence, it won't have it the Classic block even more
Is funny cuz they had years to dub those shows but seems like they never bother or got a thought in their mind that one day those shows will be necessary

@BloggerHU just said that Czechia won't get the classics.

To @RandomMe: Warner TV Poland & Romania split up in 2018 (during the TNT era) and the lineups vary, especially when it comes to series. The Romanian feed focuses on DC series (Supergirl, The Flash) and WB sitcoms (The Big Bang Theory, The Middle, 2 Broke Girls), while the Polish version relies mostly on third party acquisitions (Yellowstone, JAG etc).

I think there's actually a good chance that the Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian (if applicable) and Russian dubs this time around will be on the exact same prints as Western Europe for the classics.

Considering these shows used to all air on Cartoon Network years before the East–West dichtomy in Europe was established in the 2010s, this makes perfect sense to me. I think Ben 10 (2005) already uses identical prints for Western Europe and Eastern Europe alike on its first season.

Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
