Cartoon Network International News Thread 27.0

Cartoon Network WE has started airing "Best Summer Ever" bumpers and promo again yesterday.
CEE has yet to add them, but I guess they'll do it on June 22nd when they switch their schedules

Looks like we have to scrape up to the official schedules from the past.

Although some wikis are backed by a community that do excellent work, I still wouldn't trust Wikis unless what is mentioned has a valid source.
Other examples of good wikis include Encyclopedia SpongeBobia, Total Drama Wiki, Simpsons Wiki and many more.

I wish this could be their Best summer Ever and what is their schedule like?

They made a handful of new bumpers, but the same ones from last year are airing too.

The promo is pretty much the same as last year albeit slightly altered:

@Markus posted the current one earlier, although there will be some slight changes in the next few weeks

CN CEE continuities from 14 July 2015.
I think the term Gumball Network nowadays would fit for the nighttime "block" which currently lasts from 22:20 to 08:20 CET (the 2025 version also counts).

Speaking of Gumball, the latest Summer-themed promo from CN WE (promoting the afternoon airings) now also airs on the CEE feed (don't know if both feeds started airing it at the same time or one of them later).

wonder when CEE/WE will bring back the Popcorn Time block it was nice to have movies every weekend in my opinion i also hope the star of the week block returns these blocks give the channel more life and its better than another gumball block

sorry but i still dont like the screenbug for CEE/WE its a little too big and theres no transparency at least the UK screenbug which is what it's based on has some transparency

i feel with the current playout there's some things they do good and some things not so much

Same I kinda miss the old one we had before the feed mergers.

I hated how small it was, when I saw it on TV. On PC was more meh.

The one before February 2017 was better.

I never understood why the CEE, PL, NL and RSEE feeds had what I called the "dirty bug":

compared to CN EMEA which had the "clean bug":

It is in Portugal especially in the summer
But technically it isn't afternoon.
In Italy we still kind of know 19:00 is "sera".

I get that there are cultural aspects, in fact, In southern European countries most things are done later, that's why to British and Scandinavian people in particular, 7pm might seem a strange time to do stunts, as 7pm tends to be more dead slots for kids TV

But Spaniards are more justified to believe 19:00 is an afternoon anyway, as the country uses the "wrong time zone", especially for too western areas where CET and CEST are still used, as in the rest of mainland Spain.

@RandomMe there's not necessarily a reason.
Probably the team liked both DOGs, and used them as a way to differentiate their two partially different feeds, it happens.

@flaboyblast I prefer the current compromise UK DOG

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
