Apparently, this new Canadian cartoon directed by Rob Boutilier (creator of Kid vs. Kat) premiered on YTV a few weeks ago.

Here's the premise (from DHX Media):
For Chuck McFarlane, life is all about making choices. But lucky for him, Chuck’s life choices are a bit more mind-blowingly awesome than the rest of ours since he is…the DECIDER! Through an intergalactic gift from the stars, Chuck was bestowed with what may be the greatest device in the universe…the U-Decide 3000, giving him the power to literally choose his next adventure! Some choices turn out great, others, not so much. After all, the power of flight sounds amazing, but what if it came with a larva sac attached to your abdomen? Suddenly everyone’s looking at you like you’re a bit strange. While most kids have very limited choices, this 10-year-old gets to control his destiny and go on one thrilling adventure after another without any boring ol’ adults telling him what to do, and with his best friend Misha and brother Norm coming along for the ride!

Any thoughts on this? For me, I saw some episodes and I think it's okay at best (grade for it would be a C+, so far). The concept is pretty good and the animation/art style is decent, but the execution is handled poorly sometimes (Chuck being stupid and immature at times when it comes to making his choices, Misha being the typical straight girl to Chuck, that rich kid being a typical spoiled brat just because he's rich, unnecessary toilet humor, etc.). It has a few tiring cartoon cliches, but overall it's not a bad Canadian cartoon IMO. It's certainly better than Kid vs. Kat, honestly. I recommend checking it out.

I watched a few episodes and some is already though, however most of the characters were either in the meh category or mostly unfavorable, the main character can be obnoxious and immature and often cause dilemmas that could've been handed without all the trouble of overthinking things, the only character that I seem like is mostly the girl Misha with the purple hair, who I think is mostly competent, while there's parts that aren't much funny such as the teacher constantly gets the runs, which that something that no one will understandable or find it laughable, but overall the show is rather passive and has characters with personalities that can be found on other shows.

The show is rather uneventful, but fairly harmless. At least the voice cast is strong.

At first I thought it was nothing but a ripoff of Penn Zero: Part Time Hero, but I've seen the first episode and it's not a ripoff at all. Maybe inspired, but definitely not a ripoff. Long story short, it's good in my opinion.

We already have a Decider.

The moment I read that Chuck was The Decider I instantly thought of this, lol.

I dunno why, but I'm getting a vague FoP vibe from this, Chuck makes decision, unforeseen consequence of decision occurs and chaos ensues.

Now that the show is over it would be nice to have the complete series on dvd.

Chainsmoker Cat is one of the grossest anime I've ever seen, especially in the first episode.
