CN Ratings Thread: Part 13

Well, they did it with the last three episodes of season 1 and it really hurt it, though if they promote it this time then it might still break 2 mil. But still, assuming that it gets that and Level Up continues to get between 1M and 1.5M then it's smarter to switch them.

Cartoon Network should just move Level Up to Thursday nights and put Nick Cannon's The Incredible Crew there too.

Wouldn't Nick Cannon's The Incredible Crew just go after Level-Up, considering CN's Stubbornness though?

And I half-expect Gumball to get 2+ mil ratings. Unsure how it'll get a ratings boost at the start of Tuesday Night. I'm glad it'll be keeping Total Drama/Dragons company though. Dragon's shouldn't be left along with Level-Up.

I think the Nick-Direct TV thing will only last... a month or so at best.

Cartoon Network is starting to get a little more from Nick. Those at the highest day ratings we've seen from them in quite a while ,especially in Kids 6-11.

Those are Thursday ratings, without new episodes. I can't wait to see what happens tonight. ;)

I am still surprised that Nick Cannon is getting a show on CN. I mean, isn't he the "chairman"of TeeNick? Or did they kill that off already? Still though, Nick Cannon being known as the guy who almost killed stand-up comedy, it'll be interesting to see how his show fairs.

Man, I though CN was going to beat Nick on Monday, especially with all the premieres, but Disney is running away and taking advantage of this. Also check Disney XD's increase. Nice job, Disney.

One more week and they'll break 3.000 million. Good for RS.

CN did beat Nick on Monday in Kids 6-11 averaging 510K viewers which is really high for them in that demo. They'll typically do better on Tuesdays,Wendsdays and Thursdays than other days. I'm curious how the Ninjago season premiere will do on Wendsday.

I've heard that mlp fim is coming to cn can anyone find out if this is true? Cause the show has a large onlinine fanbase and could bring in huuuuuge ratings increases if true :D

Not sure. As diverse as MLP's fan base is, it's still mostly focuses on a female kid audience, and CN's been targeting the male teen/preteen market for a few years now.

Where did you "hear" this? As in, what's your source? If it was Wikipedia, we can pretty much tell you that it's already false, anyone can edit that place.

Plus I extremely doubt that the Hub would be willing to give up their biggest ratings cash cow.

A friend told me on fb that cn's twitter came out with an announcement about it

I'm not seeing anything on CN's twitter page about this.

Hmmm ok thanks the post says that it was announced a few days ago but i guess it ain't true

I remember reading how Cartoon Network airs MLP:FIM in some foreign markets, as part of a broadcast deal, but that doesn't extend to the States.

July 9th - 15th

From Nickandmore via Turner press notes:

Cartoon Network once again ranked as television’s #1 network for Total Day delivery of boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, and #2 in Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery among kids 2-11 (behind only Disney Channel).

Among the network’s original series, Monday night’s Adventure Time (7:30 p.m.) was the #1 telecast of the day among boys 2-11, and #1 in its time period among kids 2-11 and all boys;Regular Show (8 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 6-11 & 9-14, and #1 in its time period among boys 2-11; and Annoying Orange (8:30 p.m.) and MAD (8:45 p.m.) both ranked #1 in their time periods among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.

Tuesday night’s Total Drama: Revenge of the Island (7:30 p.m.) was #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.

Saturday morning’s (6:30 – 11 a.m.) presentation of action-adventure programming – includingPokémon BW: Rival Destinies (8:30 a.m.), Ninjago (9:30 a.m.), The Green Lantern (10 a.m.) and Young Justice (10:30 a.m.) – increased by double-digits across all kids and boys demos – between 27% and 57%.

I am impressed by the ratings of "Regular Show", especially when you consider that they had two weeks without new episodes. I do not think they will reach the 3.0 points next week, it was a rather slow episode.
If they did not reach the 3.0 after the incredible episode that was "Trucker Hall of Fame" (2,915), I doubt they will do it now.

That 6.2 on A.N.T Farm is absolutely mind-blowing. And congrats to Pokemon on that brilliant 2.5! A reluctant shout-out also goes to Johnny Test with that 2.3.

Looks like Disney's benefiting from DTV's mishap more than CN after all.

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
