CN Ratings Thread: Part 14

Iron Man 3 probably had an impact, yeah. And any thing else that might've been turning kids away from CN. Probably nothing special about this ratings dip beyond that, then.

The Regular Show episode at 6:30PM that Tuesday got 1.246 Million viewers (via Sonofthebronx). The new episode of Johnny Test was responsible for an almost 200K drop from the Regular Show rerun. Teen Titans Go! had a weak lead-in however it added close to 400K viewers from Johnny Test. I think Johnny Test is in trouble if it doesn't improve, because it is obviously the weakest link on Tuesday.

Way to go, Pokemon!! Nice to see Regular Show edging out Adventure Time by a bit. Tuesday is looking weaker than normal, though. At least Looney Tunes is hanging onto Teen Titan's audience, but Johnny Test is doing the block -no- favors. :S

Yeah, the Regular Show rerun that aired before Johnny Test got 1.560 Million viewers. Dropping about 400K viewers from a rerun before it is pretty bad especially sense new Johnny Test episodes were a promoted move. I'm pretty sure the kids ratings for Teen Titans Go! are still pretty well as the press releases indicate, yet it and TLTS could do much better if Johnny Test was removed from the block. The total viewer numbers would be much closer to 2 Million.

Johnny Test is doing pretty badly there. It would make much more sense to put it at 8:30 or have premieres at like 4 or 5pm along with reruns since Johnny Test is better in the afternoon and generally does as good with reruns as premieres.

Way to go Pokemon indeed! Really impressive!

It's interesting to see the JT premiere ratings so low, too. I wonder if it's due to lack of advertising, waning interest in the show, or both. I'll be happy if CN's newer shows are finally stealing JT's thunder. My personal opinion.

I don't watch Pokémon anymore, but I'm happy for it. And in theory, ratings should get even higher once the new games are released.

Teen Titans Go! keeps improving, boasting a huge gain over it's lead-in despite it's timeslot disdvantages. Johnny Test doesn't budge one bit after almost everything else on weekdays goes up. It's still miserably low and barely above one million.

Again, it would make much more sense to put Johnny Test at 8:30 after the premieres just like they're doing with MAD.

I don't get it, granted, I haven't been on this site for a while, but didn't Johnny Test get stellar ratings when it was in reruns? And good for AT and RS, also for Teen Titans Go. Oh, and a quick question, what were the avg ratings for Gumball when was in premieres? 2.0? Cause I say a bump that said its coming back on Wednesdays.

I wouldn't know the exact average. I'd say Gumball was between 1.6 and 1.9 Million most of the time.

I bet Gumball reruns do very well for CN, though. I see my niece sticking to Gumball like glue when it's on... and she's a tween-com addict.

It's nice to see Teen Titans Go! has improved. Johnny Test is doing a little better, but still rather sub par. It's at least doing about as well as MAD and Annoying Orange, but still those shows are easily beaten by reruns of Adventure Time, Regular Show and even Teen Titans Go! which had done pretty well in the reruns this week ,about as well as AT and RS in reruns.

Nice, those are very good ratings for Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Teen Titans Go!. Keep up the good work you three. Maybe someday, Teen Titans Go! can get into the 2 million club.

Teen Titans Go may just crack 2 million, soon. But ouch at Scan2Go. It keeps getting lower...

Good Monday and Tuesday ratings there! Scan2Go can do with tah probably, but it's over soon anyways.

The Amazing World of Gumball did well yesterday. Via TVByTheNumbers:

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
