So Fionna & Cake topped 3mil again. It would be interesting to see how the ratings were between 7:45-8:00, as that's when the new episode aired. Probably a bit higher.

Geez. Young Justice is finally cracking two million views, and the show is already canceled. I wish it got more numbers like that back in season 1.

Considering that was the Clone Wars finale and it received promotion that week, it's pretty impressive that Young Justice was able to come that close. And there's no question that it was viewers leftover from the finale since Green Lantern dropped a bit prior to that.

I'm beginning to think Cartoon Network could create a marketing strategy based around "cancelling" series and then renewing them at the last minute.

I can't help it but thinking the same thing for a few days now. It all seems to be a marketing strategy to gain more audience, in my opinion.

Although, I feel bad for those fans who are expecting another season though... considering how the finale went. I guess there's still a chance.

I'd think everyone would know better than to assume CN bases their decisions around mere ratings. Young Justice has been at the top for a while now. But it's stuff like Ben 10 that sells the toys.

I suppose you're right, but it seems like whenever a comedy show does well with adults and not so much with kids, that show gets to stay. With an acton show, it gets canned.

Argh, CN frustrates me.

Can you name an example of a comedy that did tremendously better with adults than kids which was allowed to continue on CN? Any comedy that sticks around for a long time does so because kids are watching it. I'd say they're just as quick to pull the plug on any comedy that isn't getting the necessary core demographics watching it.

Young Justice was scoring 2 million viewers lately but more than half of that wasn't in the target demographic.

However, if Young Justice sold toys on a Ben 10 level then a lack of kids ratings might not have been the death of it.

Well, CN has kind of been a touch inconsistent/directionless under this current regime, yeah? Just my opinion.
