...poor MAD. Not bad for Uncle Grandpa, but why must the new shows on Monday always hurt MAD? It wasn't even at 8:45 this time.

Under normal conditions that drop would be bad sign, but considering Monday Night Football averaged 16 Million viewers and everything was about 20 or 30% lower, I say it's doing okay. If it weren't for MNF that Uncle Grandpa episode would have scored above 2 Million. Close to what the series premiere scored. Uncle Grandpa just might make it season 2.

Wow, Tenkai Knights got 979,000, 52,000 higher than last week's ratings and 44,000 higher than the first week's ratings.

I'm a bit surprised Uncle Grandpa had the highest numbers that week. It also had some the highest reruns of the week, which is pretty good even though it was just the first episode. As for Adventure Time and Regular Show, It was their first week back from a 3 week break and it'll probably take a few weeks to recover. Not to mention the fact that it was Labor Day and Nick countered them with that Spongebob marathon.

That's what I was thinking. I've never seen an advertisement for this show and I only know about it because of the thread in this forum.

If they actually put more thought into promotion and a better time slot, I'm sure it could be bringing in big ratings. I only hope CN airs commercials for the Tenkai Knights toys when they get released.

Big Ratings is probably a bit much, but it could do pretty decently I guess!

I think what the other users mean, Ctes, is that the jump in ratings for Tenkai Knights suggests that the show could be performing MUCH better with the proper promotion. The humble 900k numbers notwithstanding. Could be "another Ninjago", which I don't think many people believed would be as popular as it was either.

And yow. It's so strange seeing Adventure time no where near 3 mil.... Now all we need is for Disney Channel to take an absurd drop in the ratings. (*evil laughter*)

It turns out that Uncle Grandpa is doing really well for CN. It's winning it's demographics and appears to be the best show on CN, at least those two weeks.

I think Uncle Grandpa can safely join Cartoon Network's big hits category of Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Teen Titans Go!. So here's what Cartoon Network has that are pulling in great numbers: Adventure Time, Uncle Grandpa, Regular Show, Teen Titans Go!, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Total Drama. Now we can hope that DreamWorks Dragons: Defenders of Berk, Steven Universe, and Clarence can join them this fall. What Cartoon Network needs to get rid of is Annoying Orange, Legends of Chima, and scale back on Johnny Test.

It makes me happy to see kids embracing the no-holds-barred wacky atmosphere of Uncle Grandpa, especially in contrast to more dialogue-driven shows like Regular Show and even Adventure Time to an extent. For that matter, it's also great to see another CN original finding success considering that AT and RS are really all there is at the moment. (I know Gumball counts, but it was technically made in CN's European studio.)

And all it took was getting through a Cartoonstitute pilot and the entirety of Secret Mountain Fort Awesome before CN realized what had to be done. See, that wasn't so hard, was it?

Yep, It's going up. Better than last week.Yet again this is against Monday Night Football. Didn't bother UG from doing well with kids last week though. That's just too bad for MAD.

We probably won't find out until this weekend. Cartoon Networks press release said good things about it, so I'm sure it matched up at least with a 2.2. Adventure Time and Tegular Show are down quite a bit, as is Cartoon Network in general. Nickelodeon and Disney Channel (ignoring the past weekend) also are down, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Ouch, I have never seen Cartoon Network's ratings so low. It's sad when the highest rated thing is TD All Stars with 2.1 million viewers. Come on Cartoon Network, plan a way to fix this decline because last year shows were pulling in regularly a 2.6-2.8, and on occasion upward to 3.5 million, and now we are back in 2010 where it's a miracle if something hits 2.1.
