I've only been in a Hot Topic once and I left very quickly thereafter. The entire 1 minute and 30 second experience was profoundly uncomfortable and scary. It was a garish nightmare land of hollow, thumping music, vapidity, and breathless faddishness.

All in all, I hated it and won't be going back.

I used to be a fiend..I admit it...I sucked. But then I discovered that about 5 other people had the same shirt as me, they all happen to have the IQ of a loaf bread and an insane love for Good Charlotte...I started going to other places.

Yeah, I go in there when I pass. I have quite a few shirts from there - Zim, TMNT, MOTU. I don't generally buy pants (too busy for me - I'm fine with the regular 5-pocketed jeans), or the 'goth' clothing. I do, most times, enjoy the music though. It's what I listen to.

My girlfriend enjoys it to, mainly for the liscensed tees. Care Bears, Muppets, and some Disney stuff. Unfortunately, my girl isn't adventuruous enough to go with some of their other lines, like zmanjz's are. But whatever.

I have the Gir plushies (Zim looked horrible, though), and for Christmas got a bunch of other Zim stuff from there.

I agree, it's a lot more trendy to go there, which irks me. But again, whatever. As long as I don't have to look at the trendies for too long.

Oh, and they do have XL clothing. And XXL. And XS. I wear XL, and it all fits.

I don't go to Hot Topic that much. I mostly go onto their website. That's where I got all my wristbands (Nintendo, Jackass, and Adult Swim), and my Aerosmith shirt.

Not a big fan of the music they were playing (especially since the lyrics were "&%*^ YOUR GODDDDDDDDDDDD!"), but hey, that's kind of expected in a "punk" store.

I like the store actually. I love their T-shirts and accessories. I bought a kingdom hearts shirt there, it's pretty awsome. I don't really mind the "goth" of the store, i'm kindda use to it, but i'm not one myself.
The people who work at the one near me aren't that bad, they're nice. I don't know. maybe it's the smaller city...
