This show can never do anything on it own and that turrible.
Neither can the current comics. It's corporate synergy gone wrong and too far.

Based on the titles, I can deduce that this is most likely a three part Ultron arc:
Crack in the System: Ultron infiltrates Avengers Tower and finds weaknesses in the team to exploit.
Avengers Disassembled: Infighting caused by Ultron's machinations in the previous episode tear the team apart.
Small Time Heroes: Ant-Man helps the Avengers shrink down to microscopic size and enter Ultron to deactivate him.
If they plan to work on more episodes of AA, they should add Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers to the show.
Here's her picture:

So far, Spider-Man's the only addition to the team since the premiere. As much as I like Captain Marvel, I feel like she'll just be thrown onto the show with no explanation or background. Just a freeze frame and her name, maybe some flat exposition loosely tying things to the movies/Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Its how they seem to treat every new superhero for some reason. I can't remember, was Ant-Man confirmed as a member of the Avengers back in season 1 or was he just helping out the team?
But we need more female heroes, AA is becoming a sausage fest, and Black Widow ain't helping.

It's no more of a sausage fest than Earth's Mightiest Heroes was. There will always be a greater number of male heroes compared to female heroes on these shows.
What are you taking about nobody get it.

While it's true that AEMH only had two female members at the end of their run (which is still more than AA) there was also great number of female side characters. AEMH had Maria Hill, Jane Foster, Enchantress, Pepper Potts, Lady Sif, Madame Hydra, Mockingbird, Hela, Invisible Woman and Abigail Brand just to name a few. AA, on the other hand, has... Falcon's mom.
Heck, just for fun, let's count which show really has more female characters. I'm not counting characters from shows that share the same continuity with either show, since AEMH's connection to WatXM (and arguably to SSM) is little bit a grey area. I'm also not counting characters like "waitress" or "bystander no.2" for obvious reasons.
AEMH:
Wasp
Ms. Marvel
Black Widow
Enchantress
Jane Foster
Pepper Potts
Maria Hill
Lady Sif
Madame Hydra
Hela
Invisible Woman
Mockingbird
Queen Veranke
Whiplash (Cameo)
Lucia von Bardas
Valkyrie (Cameo)
Ravonna
Karnilla
Abigail Brand
Cassandra Lang
Quasar
Corrina
Quake
Betty Brant
Anaconda
Female Kang (small role)
Stardust (small non-speaking role)
AA
Black Widow
Gamora
Princess Python
Maria Hill (Cameo)
Hela
Lady Zartra
Zarda
Freya
Tana Nile
Falcon's Mom
Seems to me that AEMH wins by landslide.

I don't know if its fair to include the entire Marvel Animated Universe in this. The combined output is like three different, 52 episode shows compared to one.
As for the rivalry, I think its inevitable. Especially since Avengers Assemble is literally a replacement show rather than a successor. I mean look at how fans get about Batman cartoons and there's usually a lot of breathing room between each of those.

Being a bit smart aleck, much? I'm pretty sure it's considered rude to "rub it in" in such a manner, instead of respectfully disagreeing.
But usually we can forgive the Batman shows as long as they can still tell decent stories and develop character.
