Just realized Antenna TV had same concept for a marathon last year. Same name too. A little funny to me.

Hopefully, in a week, we'll find out about the 1st Quarter 2025 of MeTV Toons schedule.

Based on MeTV - they returned to normal after Christmas ended, so likely there is Valentine specials and possibly MLK special.

There is very minor schedule change for MeTV, so don't expect a big change.

Baby Looney Tunes as far as we know and it was part of MeTV Toon's promo back in May or June.

Based on MeTV - they returned to normal after Christmas ended, so likely there is Valentine specials and possibly MLK special.

There is very minor schedule change for MeTV, so don't expect a big change.

But Animation Antiques is expected to arrive on MeTV Toons in the beginning of the new year.

There we're plenty of big schedule changes in the early years of the original MeTV (having launched like a decade ago), but yeah, in it's recent years, there haven't been a lot of schedule changes.
MeTV Toons is still a new network (having launched like 5 or 6 months ago), so it's safe to assume plenty of changes (such as the addition of Animation Antiques) will happen there as well, as the years go by.

Yeah but it is difficult with weak ads market - it means Weigel goes cheap to acquire shows to make a channel more variety and it is likely shows that most viewers don't want. They don't get more Amblin shows, beside Freakazoid!.

H&I, Start TV and MeTV+ don't see much lineup changes recently, so that why I warn - don't be too exciting for next lineup changes and it could be disappointment, such as replace one show with Caillou, so we don't know about lineup would looks like in January. @aegisrawks has concern about future of MeTV Toons and his posts aren't joke.

I hopefully they don't mess with cartoon shorts, so I do think that lineup change would be technical fix to make lineup works for most viewers and swap is likely with some H-B shows, also maybe some different shows from Filmation.

It is just like Monk aired on MeTV years ago and many of fans lambasted as not retro shows, so later in next lineup changes, they just dumped and make exclusive on H&I instead.

Have a good firestorm response would get Caillou off in next lineup changes.

Alright, so again I'm really not trying to sound like a negative nancy over here, but I really REALLY think they missed the opportunity on including the other LT incarnations for today's marathon. The fact it's strictly going to be the classic shorts only is such an OVERKILL. Not to mention, the shorts are already spammed enough on the network, but luckily not as much as how Boomerang spams them. The classic Looney Tunes shorts already airs in the morning on a 1 hour Bugs Bunny & Friends block on weekdays, then they show up again during Cartoon All Stars. But you thought that was it? NOPE! The Bugs Bunny & Friends block repairs again during the evening hours, but this time for 2 HOURS. And to end the day off, the shorts air AGAIN during Toon In with Me. I should be glad they're doing anything for Thanksgiving at all, but seriously, I'm kind of disappointed it's only to play an all day marathon of classic Looney Tunes. I kind of was expecting they'd also throw in some classic Thanksgiving specials like The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn't, but apparently not. Anyway, I hope all of you enjoy today's marathon and I'm sorry that I had to throw all this out of my chest.

Jeez, no offense, but you sound like the network is showing "The Daffy/Speedy Thanksgiving Fest" or "The Loonatics Thanksgiving Marathon".

I understand your grievances that the network should have shown more thanksgiving cartoons (and it probably doesn't help you that there already was a Looney Tunes marathon earlier this year), but I'm personally glad we have this Looney Tunes marathon, even if the Looney Tunes are already shown a lot. A couple of years ago, Looney Tunes fans like me would have KILLED to see a marathon like this on broadcast TV and I'm happy that we have more opportunities like this available. Again, no offense.

I think it might be because they have a higher threshold for what is "Too much for TV-Y7 FV"

It was WBD assigned the rating when they sold syndication rights to Weigel.

Unlike ESRB and MPA (formerly MPAA), there is no board to review and assign the rating for TV shows, so it means WBD or Weigel make a decision to assign.

If Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated is assigned as TV-Y7-FV when air on Cartoon Network and Boomerang, so you are likely to see same on MeTV Toons.

I tune out the ratings boxes unless a channel makes them so big that it blocks something at the start of the show or something.

Last time when Wait Till Your Father Gets Home aired on Boomerang was in 2008 and it looks like WBD changed rating for some shows, especially they did with most shows aired on Checkered Past.

It looks like studio (WBD) or network (Weigel) aren't transparent about whoever assign, so I went with both.

It looks like IMDB reported Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated as TV-Y7-FV.

Anyway, I don't really think it's that big of a deal. How many people really pay attention to those TV ratings anyway?

I don't care about TV rating, however there some members see rating as big deal.
