This is a thread for discussing Nickelodeon content (including 6–11 animated series, live-action series, preschool series from Nick Jr., made-for-TV movies and specials, Paramount+ original kids & family content and theatrically released movies related to the Nickelodeon brand) available on (or coming to) the SkyShowtime streaming service in Europe, which is co-owned by Paramount and Comcast. This includes stuff like SpongeBob SquarePants, The Loud House, Henry Danger, iCarly, Dora the Explorer, PAW Patrol and more.

Note that SkyShowtime effectively functions as a Paramount+ and Peacock hybrid powered by the underlying platform of the latter service, and that it has outright replaced Paramount+ in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

In fact, only mere months after Paramount+ was officially launched in Nordic countries in late March 2021 (the first non-Americas markets to receive Paramount+), ViacomCBS announced its plans to fully replace P+ with SkyShowtime there (in addition to launching it in other European countries)!

Also note that DreamWorks Animation original series aren't included in this thread aside from titles produced specifically for Nickelodeon (e.g. The Penguins of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness).

Here's a list of the only markets where SkyShowtime is currently available:
  • Albania
  • Andorra
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark (where it replaced Paramount+ completely)
  • Finland (where it replaced Paramount+ completely)
  • Hungary
  • Kosovo (partially unrecognized)
  • Montenegro
  • North Macedonia
  • Norway (where it replaced Paramount+ completely)
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Serbia
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Spain
  • Sweden (where it replaced Paramount+ completely)

I have a genuine question. Why SkyShowtime isn't available in the UK and Ireland? I am curious and don't have knowledge of the Sky brand. Thank you.

Because UK/ROI already has Paramount+, which isn't leaving the British Isles anytime soon.

Also, content from Comcast's libraries can generally be found on Sky and NOW in the UK, including Peacock and Sky UK titles.

Okay thanks. Didn't realise that SkyShowtime is basically like Paramount+. How stupid of me.

For context i think i made a general skyshowtime thread some time ago.

Yeah, but that one is specifically about the SkyShowtime streaming service as a whole.

This is a more specific thread solely about the Nickelodeon stuff on there, disregarding everything else on the platform.

Meanwhile, Nickelodeon content that is available on Sky Showtime ("Spongebob", "P.A.W. Patrol", "The Loud House", "Bubble Guppies", etc...) appeared recently on Sweet TV Poland (by the time of writing I know also about Romanian additions of the shows).

Is it just me or is "meanwhile" your tic or something? I see you start sentences with it a lot.

the Bubble Guppies episode "The Police Copetition!" got not only pulled from reruns in 2020 but then nuked from pretty much every streaming service the show is on as well. I'm certain it's not on SkyShowtime at all

Nope. That's where you're wrong, kiddo.

The whole episode is still fully and completely available in its entirety on SkyShowtime, complete with multiple dubs (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch, Castilian Spanish, European Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Croatian and Slovene).

However, the episode is erroneously called "The Police Competition" instead of "The Police Cop-etition" on the SkyShowtime UI in English.

D’oh!
I guess that’s only a US problem
I bet they also still have the few Paw Patrol episodes that got completely banned

SkyShowtime doesn't have "Pups Save a Herd". Season 2 episode 7 is just "Pups Jungle Trouble" entirely by itself, with the "Pups Save a Herd" segment omitted completely. It's exactly like how season 3 episode 15 of SpongeBob SquarePants is literally just "The Great Snail Race" by itself on SkyShowtime, with "Mid-Life Crustacean" skipped completely.

However, "Pup-Fu!" and "Pups Save Sensei Yumi" are available in their entirety on SkyShowtime and are perfectly intact.

Serbia has a similar case of double-streaming. Nickelodeon titles are distributed by a domestic company "Visionary Thinking" and they can be found on the Serbian Apollon streaming service---which is majority-owned by Pink Media Group---in addition to SkyShowtime. Linearly, though, only Blaze and the Monster Machines airs on Pink Super Kids.

Visionary Thinking has a Lisbon office as well. Not sure what purpose it serves

All of the shows visible in that picture are on SkyShowtime… except for T.U.F.F. Puppy.

In Denmark and other Nordic countries, Viaplay also distributes a sizeable amount of Nickelodeon original programming too via its own eponymous streaming service.

I still don’t even know why Pups Save a Herd got banned

I guess the decision had something to do with the episode featuring cops in it or something.

The episode got banned from circulation by Nickelodeon and its parent company ViacomCBS (now Paramount) in the wake of major events that followed a certain death in 2020 that I cannot elaborate on any further here on this website.

Also on an entirely unrelated note:
Season 8 episodes 11 and 12 of The Loud House ("Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind", parts 1 and 2) will be added to SkyShowtime on January 31, 2026, thus completing season 8. I know this thanks to Ruutu's website.

Also, SkyShowtime will add season 16 episode 1 ("Bizarro Bottom"/"Squidward's Tough Break") and season 16 episode 6 ("Laundro-Madness"/"Hog Huntin'") of SpongeBob SquarePants on February 7, 2026. Again, same source as before.

Furthermore, Wylde Pak is getting added to SkyShowtime on February 14, 2026!

Wylde Pak S1 premieres February 14 on Sky Showtime.

According to Sky Showtime NO on strim.no, the new episodes of TLH (811-812) debuts this Saturday at 1:00CET.

I've documented yet another SpongeBob-related audio language error on SkyShowtime:

Season 3 episode 2 of SpongeBob SquarePants ("Club SpongeBob"/"My Pretty Seahorse") correctly plays the series intro and the former segment with the Danish dub as intended, but strangely uses the Czech dub instead for the entire latter segment (including the closing credits, which even have the Czech narrated dubbing credits, something which isn't a thing in Denmark!).

This is pretty much the exact same error that formerly affected the Swedish audio track of the Tiny Toons Looniversity 44-minute special "Nightmare on Toon Street" on HBO Max, except that the second half is not in Dutch but instead in Czech.

Also, as of February 2026, SkyShowtime's live channel functionality is now available outside of Sweden.

Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
