Phineas & Ferb Series Talkback (SPOILERS)

Both amazing episodes! I was torn between the Twilight reference, the Werecow, and Monogram's and Carl's costumes. XD

"This doesn't seem like a horror movie, where's the rock & roll musical numbers?"

Both great episodes, but I think "That's the Spirit!" was a little bit better.

From "That's the Spirit!" what I liked the most was: Everyone saying Candace wasn't wearing a costume, Baljeet's "Where's Peeeerry?", the zombies wanting random organs (Pancreas!), Isabella's costume & Doof as a werecow (especially him "declaring war on grass").

And from "The Curse Of Candace" what I liked the most was: The whole movie parodying Twilight (especially "Weren't you jet wearing a shirt?!"), Stacy (& then Doof) commenting on the floor, the guys with the car, Doof's letter to Perry.

And something I didn't understand; at the end of the second segment, did Candace really die? And why were P&F so calm about it if she really did die?

Phineas as always been quasi aware of their status as cartoon characters plus there's just been times where the fourth wall has been ground into a fine powder like "Rollercoaster: The Musical" especially the end where they do that final musical number.

There was something special about her costume?

I'm sure someone is going to defend it by saying it's a Halloween episode therefor it's not "canon" or just say it's a cartoon like Darking did.

Im pretty sure he meant the joke she said about her costume, awesome Joke by the way :anime:

That's what I meant. I loved the way she said "I got it at the Googleplex Mall..."

The Halloween special might have premiered two weeks ago, but there's still one spooky Phineas and Ferb premiere segment to debut this month, and it airs tonight (and at the moment, ONLY tonight)!

Yeah, that's all I have. Enjoy!

Ummmm...isn't that thing using a vacuum to suck out all the air? Won't the galaxy have a problem with that in the future? XD

Oh and are we getting 2 episodes a week any time soon again?

Well well well, what a great episode! Everything worked here IMO.

Best: Ferb being suddenly inside his dad's chamber, young Doof's manners, Buford wanting to smash, Perry trapped in the cat statue, the scenes with P&F inside the tower and the hilarious ending with the alien invasion.

Also, Candace sleeping IMO gave more time for both pots which helped. I would have liked Isabella to do a little more, but this episode was great nonetheless.

Ladies and gentlemen, the creators of Phineas and Ferb reveal the animation process.

In a rap video.

Since in the alternative demention version of him feels this way, you think our Buford has a crush on Candice?

Has anyone seen this? It says that season 4 will last them through 2014. Seems as though they're really planning to continue to drag the episodes out.

That article put a big smile on my face. To think that the creators been pitching that show for years, and now the show is growing to be such a hit, with merchandise opportunities and a feature film.
I can't help but feel happy for them.

Tonight's episode was alright. The ending was the funniest with them transcribing the ancient text about Doofenshmirtz trying to get back home and uttering "Curse you Perry the Platypus!"

Lotsa Latkes was a good episode. I liked Isabella's description of how a mob of old people would look like, Phineas & Ferb's list of words with "S" kids don't usually use, Ferb's knowledge of ancient traps, the credits scene with the archeologist reading "curse you perry the platypus" & Buford liking the potato gremlins.

So all in all, solid episode.

Apologies for missing last week, as I was sick and unable to post the talkback. I'm also short on time this week, so I'll just get right to it.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
