I've had enough of Darksiders 2. That thing was throwing me for a loop on where to go. The stupid crow didn't make it any better since it just kept guiding me to areas I've already been to. So at this point I'm practically done with the game. I don't have the patience to deal with these "where the hell am I suppose to go" moments.
I'm thinking about starting up Assassin's Creed 2 once again to finish everything up so I can finally boot up Brotherhood.
Anyway, I've been playing Street Fighter X Tekken. I had it once before, but eventually got rid of it due to the crap that Capcom was doing. I ended up getting it again through buying Street Fighter 25th Anniversary, and it came with free DLC stuff (basically everything that cost something was free), I am a little disappointed that the alternate costumes weren't included in being free, but whatever. Anyway, what changes coould've possibly made me buy this game again? 2013 patch happened and that was pretty much all that was needed. Capcom couldn't fix the timer issue per se, but they made the roster do more damage, and red life recovery has been slowed down dramatically. With these changes the game looks fun (feels better). The reason I say "looks" fun is because I watch a lot of tourney matches, and in order to get me to play fighting games I have to be inspired to actually play. And before the patch you just had fights ending with timeouts, and there's nothing exciting about seeing matches end in timeouts.
With that said, I've been having fun in trial mode trying to learn some of these characters. I've completed almost all of Ryu's trials with Jin, Ken, Hwoarang, Asuka, and Kazuya following closely behind. I will say that at the moment Jin is the character I will be using the most. Outside of Guy, I'd probably say Jin is my favorite character in fighting games. Ever since he was introduced in Tekken 3 I just liked Jin (and Hwoarang). Sure he comes off as emo, but whatever. He's a cool character. I like his design and moveset. Anyway, I haven't figured out who I want to team Jin up with yet. I'm definitely considering using Kazuya, Lars, Hwoarang, and Ken. I doubt if I play many characters from on Capcom side since most of them are almost identical to their SSF4 counterpart, whereas the characters from Tekken have their ways to pass through fireballs and then they have their chains (for someone like me who're terrible at performing some combos is great) so they just feel more fun. One thing I hate about the roster are these troll characters. Koro, Toro, Megaman, Cole, Pac-Man (who have no business to be in this game in the first place), and Kuma. Characters like these just make me cringe every time and make me want to shout "WHY!!!!!!" Then again I've always had issues with this minor quibble dating back to MvC1 (so you can just imagine how I am every time people say something along the lines of wanting to see Capcom vs Nintendo).
