But if you wanted to see IGPX from the beginning legally, you're ish outta luck because that show's ONLY Toonami in it's most literal meaning.

And if you were wondering why they moved Clone Wars to 5AM, this is probably the best you're ever going to get.

So what's common sense then, if not Naruto? What's more popular that would conceivably be available for Toonami (i.e. not DBZ)?

So basically, we shouldn't question anything DeMarco and co. does, even when we don't like it.

Who said that? Certainly not me. What I said was to have some perspective. And realize that without specifically DeMarco's efforts, Toonami is still just a fading memory. And without him now, it would likely disappear again.

If you're just unhappy that the shounens are on it, look at it this way - the popularity of Bleach and Naruto subsidize the acquisition of lesser known stuff like Samurai 7, Deadman Wonderland, etc, and now Space Dandy (in an unprecedented World premiere fashion). If that's still not enough for you, you probably shouldn't bother with Toonami. After all, it's never been easier to find anime outside of TV, so there really is no good reason to complain. If you do still want to complain, you'd better not act shocked or betrayed if Toonami suddenly vanishes again.

I guess that makes sense. It's still a bit of a shame for those who were watching it at 3AM, but it might do well in its new timeslot since Inuyasha tends to do pretty well there. If they didn't want to burn through Inuyasha, I wonder if they only have the episodes for another run. I don't know where they are with the series right now, so I don't know if its on its second run or its still in its first run.

I'm not sure if Deadman Wonderland should be counted since that was part of the initial lineup for the revived block. While its true that the popularity of Bleach and Naruto has allowed for the block to get other shows, I don't think that means people should be happy to see more of either franchise on the block, especially if they don't care for either series. It makes sense in terms of ratings, as well as in terms of money, and hopefully it can lead to them picking up better shows, which many people have already said, so I don't see the problem in describing our initial disappointment/preference that they'd get something else. It's really less of a matter of questioning DeMarco and complaining and more like just not being excited about shows some people just don't particularly care for. I'm not going to be happy with every new development or new show announcement if I'm already familiar with it and I don't like it.

I still remain hopeful that we'll see Inuyasha: The Final Act.
I don't think we'll see it in 2014, since a lot of money was spent on Space Dandy and Shippuden.
It could show up after Bleach or Inuyasha finish their episodes, and Inuyasha dropping down to one episode a week will help prolong the time it finishes its run.

All schedules seem to have Trigun: Badlands Rumble listed as the third movie airing movie this month. Wasn't Conquer of Shamballa the third movie airing?

I think it's a mistake. No schedules have FLCL airing that week either, and Badlands Rumble is quite a bit shorter than the other movies airing this month. There's no way it can take 3 hours for it to air.

Wonder if that means it leaves its cozy 3:30am EST early Sundays and Mondays on BOOM. Maybe if I just listened, then I'd know, huh?

I can't watch the podcast because I got to bed at 10 sharp, and I'm already watching Santa Claus is Comin' to Town via DVR (DreamWorks specials on The CW got my attention), so I should ask: did DeMarco say anything about Sentai Filmworks problems? I know there isn't really bad blood between the two, but I just want clarification about potential problems the two may be having over getting a deal for a Sentai anime to air on Toonami.

Sweet Jack is coming back. Some day they can finally pair it with Sym-Bionic Titan for a Tartakovsky power hour.

Glad they worked out bringing Samurai Jack in because it's such a drag that it was only seen on Boomerang lately and it's a 52 episodes mostly episodic show that can fill a slot for a year add some variety to the usual backlog titles.

That's pretty cool news. While I was never a big fan of Samarui Jack, it would be a good for the block to have another western animated series on their lineup for a bit of diversity and it would be better on Toonami rather than sticking on Boomerang. The idea of putting Samurai Jack and Sym-Bionic Titan together sounds pretty cool too.

It was either that, or rerunning the same old ASA shows again and again. Personally, I think Samurai Jack, Naruto, and Clone Wars are adding variety to the latter half of the block

Great news about Samurai Jack. Though, admittedly, it was sometimes misguided, it's still a pretty great show and it'll make a solid entry into the Toonami lineup. And as much as I like anime, it's great to see some Western animation love too.

Toonami said during one of their Q&As that they no longer have the rights to air Tartakovsky's Clone Wars, unfortunately.
