Like it's mentioned before, Naruto Shippuden and Bleach are paying the price for a full Dandy. They're getting butchered so Dandy can run without any time edits at all. Ironically, Dandy's opening and ending themes have yet to broadcast.

Shippuden's opening isn't being cut in Dandy's favor. Only the first show gets to have its opening played so even if Dandy and the expansion wasn't there, Shippuden wouldn't have its opening played, only Bleach would.

InuYasha's opening has been removed since the first episode featuring ED6 "Itazura na Kiss" premiered, which that is played in full tv size

Sure, but if Space Dandy wasn't there, Shippuden still wouldn't get its opening, only Bleach would. Also, "The first show gets its opening" thing is also directly from their tumblr.

That does make sense. I was confused with how they said that it would come out in March all this time, but at least they cleared it up. I'll still give it a chance and see how I feel about it a few episodes into the series at least.

I thought that it was already confirmed awhile ago that FMA Brotherhood was getting another run.

People who use that rationale to put something down aren't thinking logically. The worth of a piece of entertainment can't be determined by its age rating. Books and covers.

I would prefer I never hear that stupid argument again. Kids are people too; they shouldn't be treated as subhuman by being given lousier shows.

You really shouldn't throw around the word butchered so carelessly. Butchering would be cutting scenes from the actual episode to make them short enough for the slot, heavily censoring them or giving them absolutely awful dubs.

Though I do wonder what's up with the Dandy OP/ED situation and when it will resolve itself. I was thinking FLCL was the reason why Dandy was not using the full OP/ED yet but such is not the case. Didn't get the okay yet or the tapes yet perhaps?

I'm thinking they're waiting for FUNi's next batch of episodes with the full OP/ED attached, whenever that will be. The Tumblr also mentioned they're working it out on whether they will just air the OP/ED with the kanji, or if FUNi will take the time to translate the credits.

I don't think LD was bashing Nadia by saying that. The argument is that a block called Adult Swim shouldn't really be leaning on childrens' shows. If anything, it treats kids worse to think that if a show is "of worth", it belongs on Adult Swim. Kids deserve good kids' shows, and putting them on Adult Swim isn't a good idea because of that (with more teen-geared shows, there's a bit of leeway in the sense that CN doesn't really have a teen-geared block and Adult Swim allows uncensored airings, and there's also some leeway with shows that bombed with kids but managed to attract a bigger adult audience, but yeah, ideally Adult Swim should try to aim for adults or at least teens and kids' shows deserve to be seen in kid-friendly timeslots; it really sucks there's no kids' anime block in the US currently that's not all toyetic junk).
