What should Evo adapt next?

I'm not really familiar with Onslaught in the comics, but I am a little bit because of the Capcom game. Can someone provide background info on him? Or a site that does? He sounds like a cool villain/character/story arc.

Onslaught was originally a mystery villian in the comics (though most readers figured it out pretty quick). He began by pasting the X-Men, and then taunting them for quite some time about his plans to dominate and/or destroy the world.

It was eventually revealed that Onslaught was really a projection of Charles Xavier's tortured mind. See, he had recently been forced to wipe Magneto's mind completely clean, and felt horribly guilty for that. That ended up resulting in an alternate personality (Onslaught) that wanted to kill Xavier and anyone else who interfered with its plan (basically, the same as Magneto's).

It eventually came down to a knock-down, drag-out brawl between Onslaught, most of the X-teams, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the Hulk and others. It ended up with Onslaught being destroyed, but only after the FF, Iron Man and Hulk had been killed.

Later, it was revealed that Reed Richard's son (apparently quite a powerful kid) had really saved those heroes by locking them away in a 'pocket reality'. Thus, they got to break from Marvel continuity and start their comics over on issue #1.

That broke down though, and finally they were let back into the real world. Marvel continuity proceeded from there as if Onslaught was a minor footnote.

Oh, and Chuck got his head straightened out just fine.

I'd like to see 'Age of Apocalypse' done, but that'd be too difficult to pull off the show, I think.

Much. The entire premise is to rip our heroes out of this world, and see alternate versions in another. I think it'd take at least a season to do properly, which would spoil the whole feel of the show.

Such things are good for a one-shot time travel episode, but not for an overall story in a series like this one.

I don't really think Evolution needs to touch on a lot of these sagas. They should just continue giving us new takes on classic X-Villians. I'd personally like to see versions of Banshee and Bishop. Also, since the show has kind of an original X-Men feel, I'd like to see versions of Unus the Untouchable and maybe the Vanisher...though that might be small potatoes now that Apocalypse is around.

I don't really think Evolution needs to touch on a lot of these sagas. They should just continue giving us new takes on classic X-Villians. I'd personally like to see versions of Banshee and Bishop. It's possible that Apocalypse may take on servents, like the Horseman. I'd like to see Unus and the Vanisher as a couple of those servants, actually. The Apocalypse saga can bring about some interesting new changes in the series, and I hope it brings up some new characters, too. I'd like to see more new villians introduced.
